What I really like about this duo is that in all the dances they do, Nadia isn't always portraying the victim. The second dance always gets me because some people really dont believe women can be abusive towards men and it showcases that abuse isnt always physical. The way they dance and emote is just so beautiful and I keep rewinding just to start crying all over again.

Very true Sadly I been on both sides. Was finding self then got with ex who was abusive and fought to not let my demons resurface Abuse can go both ways and world need to see that. Woman are just as strong/independent but can be just as violent/dangerous
@6maria943 жыл бұрын
Really? Because Ididn't see that in the 2nd dance. To me it looks like a man who's so obsessive that he suffocates her and takes her freedom away. He looks loving, but it's too much. I totally believe in what you said. In fact, I know many relationships in which the woman does emotional abuse... I just didn't read the 2nd dance like that, which is curious

They asked if they r couples but they r not they started dancing about 4 years, Nadia the girl joined Dakota's dance school and he noticed that she is a sppecial dancer both they r good friends and often people think they r a couple, both they do work in different fields the girl in hotel and the guy in architecture, they both had domestic violence incident in family and they decided to work on the topic in their dance. I just mentioned the main thing of what has been said lol not literally.

M’a supplié. Je me suis brulé.
I identify heavily with these. For six years, I was in the thick of abuse. In the beginning, he was abusive and I refrained from reciprocating. Eventually he taught me that my only defense was maladaptive coping, and I returned the abuse. We progressed to a point where I had to walk away, despite my love for him. In January he passed away. I feel him with me, I'm haunted by him and our past. Even in death, he hasn't let me go. I'll always love and miss him. I've been in dance since I was a young child, and I'm glad someone put this topic into a comprehensive, interpretive, physical presentation. It's tasteful, artful, and empowering. Congratulations to these two.
