I've done an LFX swap in my G8 (which was originally LY7). The primary and secondary level sensors were, indeed, different values. One of the easier ways to approach this is with an Arduino and a digital potentiometer: The controller reads voltage in (as a means of resistance) and you can set each range as a value out in voltage. The second option is (which was easier for me) is programming. The E39 (and E39A) are pretty easy to work with. When I changed from an Aisin AY6 to Tremec TR3160 for my G8, I needed to modify the calibration for the VSS (This would be an opportunity to adjust the VIN in the module for PK3+ as well). The calibration which handles the fuel level sensors for the E39 can be modified to work with the same values the E78 would put out on GMLAN to the BCM and eventually the IPC via low speed SWCAN. The same approach can be used with the air con. The G8 also has dual auto climate and variable displacement. swash plate compressor. The displacement is controlled by PWM from the HVACM but the clutch for the compressor is controlled by the E39A. I'd have to take a look at the diagrams for the Cruze but it's entirely possible the message would just run the compressor as even my pre-global-A HVACM in the G8 uses the same message architecture and the E39 will engage the clutch at request.

So the HVAC system seems to work correctly, but the fuel gauge is a no go. I can see my fuel level via my snapon scanner, but the data to the BCM seems to be transmitted differently, so it won't sent the proper low speed info to the cluster. I just show empty on the cluster. Could you elaborate more on how to fix this issue? Currently only have hptuner and efi live. I don't have a TECH 2. Not that I couldn't buy a knock off version. I know it's getting the correct signal to the impala ECM because I can see correct fuel level percentage.

All depends on your electrical knowledge. That took me the longest because I wanted everything to function as it should in the car.

​@@chevycavalier00hello there, but did you happen to have to do anything to fit the splines for the Chevy Cruze to the 6t70? Or are they the same spline count for the Cruze CV's? Thank you very much!

@JoseMendoza-cu4ri the transmssion and axles, and spindles I put on the Cruze are from the impala. So you have to swap out the driveline completely to make it work.

Did you happen to have the information you used for swapping the wiring harnesses? Is that information you might possibly still have? I have most of the parts to start, but not sure how much modification is needed for it to work with the stock car and the LFX ECU. @JoseMendoza-cu4ri I had to research both cars and figure out between the 2 how to wire them up. It was quite time-consuming. I don't have any documentation on how I did it.
