Actually outside temperature matters a lot, when the outside temperature is around 30 then ac will use very less electricity consumption but when the outside temperature goes 40 then the ac has to work a lot to maintain 27 degree temperature inside room and that's the real fact behind electricity consumption.

When you use convertible option for example at 40% AC runs continuously at this capacity. It won't switch off at desired temperature. If you want it to cut off then use normal AC option.

Very nice and informative video. However, I am facing a weird issue with the LG 1.5 Ton inverter AC a couple of days ago. Even though I run the AC in 40% mode, and set any temperature (I set it at 27C), it seems the compressor keeps running and in fact after a couple of hours it went down to 22C! However as per your video, the compressor should have gone in low power mode or turned off after reaching set temperature. So does this mean the AC has some fault? What could be the issue?

Happening with my LG 1.5 ton AC too, even if we set at 40% for 26 degrees, after some time, room temperature reaches 23, 24 degrees. I don't think it reduces the compressor load after achieving the desired temperature.

I have the same AC. The best way to use the power saving mode is to first set the desired temperature and then set the desired power saving mode. Since the default temperature is 24, set it at 27 or 28.

Electricity unit price in my area is 7Rs. I have 1 Ton Lg AC with 5.2 ISEER. Without AC my light bill for 2 months is around 1200- 1300 Rs. During summer i use it everyday for 13 hrs. I get a bill of around 2000- 2200 Rs. So very satisfied with the power consumption

Sir actually there are 3 temperature factors you need to consider 1) outside temperature 2)current inside temperature 3)temperature you want to achieve Power consumption will depend on all these 3 factors and you missed considering outside temperature, your video was about proving that invertor mode will always work which you did well.
