How does the colour look on this monitor? Does the colour look relatively accurate and realistic? I'd like to use it for some photo-editing, amongst other things, so I want decent colour accuracy from it. I bought an HP 22' monitor in the fall. Everything about it was very good, except for the colour. Although it looked good on a store shelf, the colour accuracy was bad. It didn't produce realistic colours at all, despite it being an IPS monitor. IPS monitors are usually the best for colour accuracy, but not the HP M22F. After hours of trying to balance the colour unsuccessfully, I ended up returning it. My 7 year old HP LED monitor does colour more accurately than that newer HP model, which was very disappointing.

What about the dead pixels? Display brightness in 250 kd is enough for games and work at home?

Best Buy sells 22MP400-B. What is the difference when compared to the 22MP410? I know the 22MP400-B is said to be a VA panel. Is there anything else? Who sells the 22MP410-B?

I think this is a VA monitor rather than IPS. I did not see an audio jack in the back.

Is it easy to turn off the AMD FreeSync feature? I once bought an HP monitor with the same feature and it screwed up with my video card. I had to turn it off to get a display screen that was usable. However, it was easy to turn it off from the monitor's OSD. I'm just wondering if that's the case with this LG monitor. Also, is the colour accuracy decent? Amongst other things, I'd be using this monitor for some basic photo-editing. If the colour accuracy is decent, you can do that with a general purpose monitor like this one.

I hated mine. Trying to dissemble it to return it to Amazon, but I can't figure out how to get the stand apart without breaking it. Any suggestions?

Why do you dislike it? Are there some specific reasons?

@@mote99 Hi. I had problems because it didn't come with the screws to mount the monitor to the stand, nor the hdmi cable, and the power adapter cord was only three feet. I couldn't find these specs before buying so I asked in the questions and was told the screws and cable should have been included, and that the power adapter was over 10 feet. I was willing to chance it, so I ended up ordering a new HDMI cable and a new power adapter, which pushed my being able to use the monitor to several more days after I got it, and increased the cost for the whole set by another $27.00. (I was willing to forgo the screws.) However, even after all that, I despised the power switch, which is under the monitor, and is like a teeny-tiny little joystick that you have to hit in just the right spot, blind, with the tip of your finger, to actually get to the power off option. It took me 5 tries because it kept bouncing right over the option. That was the final straw. I hadn't even been able to test that until I got the new power adapter, so it just cost me a week of no second monitor.

@@WakkasLove That's strange. According to the LG website, it's supposed to come with both a power cable and an HDMI cable that are at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) long. Maybe it was an Amazon reseller that screwed it up? I dunno... I checked out the LG "joystick" switch on a similar monitor in a store. I agree that it's not an ideal button set-up, but I think I could live with it. It's quirky but I've dealt with weirder things in the computer world. LOL! As long as the joystick switch doesn't break easily, which I haven't heard anyone complain about, I think I can deal with it. Did you ever actually see the display screen on this monitor when it was set up? Or did you not get that far before returning it? I haven't bought this monitor yet, but it's one of the monitors I've been looking at. I actually like the LG 22MP400-B better, because it has an IPS panel, rather than a VA panel, and IPS panels do colour better in most cases. Unfortunately, nobody seems to be selling the 22MP400-B model in Canada. Anyway, sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with it. I hope your next monitor works out better for you!

@@WakkasLove BTW, if I decide to purchase one of these LG monitors, I'll get it from Staples Canada. They have an easy return policy. LOL! ;-)
