It looks like most of LG washer has the same firmware bug. The temperature disappears at the end of the wash cycle and not visible at the rest of washing

hi. i am about to buy a washing machine and was considering LG 9kg direct drive . however my concern is would the w machine allow my load to soak in detergent before spinning. i have a 10kg whirpool washing machine and i sometimes leave my clothes to soak fully in detergent. at my convenience i can then press spin depending on my likings. would this allow me to leave them soaked completely. tks so much

My mom has this machine and it’s horribly loud right after she presses the start button when the water is going into the machine. It literally shakes the house and we can still hear it from upstairs when we close our bedrooms doors. She bought this washer about 2 months ago and I told her today that I don’t think this noise is normal.

It shouldn’t be loud. Make sure it has been levelled properly using a spirit level and check that the transit bolts have been removed.

@@demitsuru Yes & No. The machine needs to be level, but level alone will not stop vibration. The load (wet clothes) in the machine needs to be balanced, not too much on any one spot of drum. If small load, or say 10 shirts and one big towel, then you have an unbalanced situation, and washer will vibrate. Nothing to do but *maybe* remove the heavy item.

Uh what? That's a washing machine, not a washer-dryer (combo)...The Temp setting is for the temperature of the water, so the clothes aren't gonna dry faster, only because you selected 95°C.

The transit bolts are screwed in at the back of the machine. It will show you exactly where they are in the instruction book.

i think pre-wash is not a regular washing programme, so it won't need to add steam function. if you want to add steam, use one regular programme and add steam. Pre-wash is optional for some hard sheets or heavy soil clothes.

My machine always takes more than 1.30 hrs when in Mix mode. Is there an option by which I can reduce the time? Normally it should take 45 mints maximum. Also I don't find any option to choose only spin or rinse function. If there is any power failure and the machine will start from the beginning, though it might have come to the final stage of washing or rinse. wherein I had to re-run the entire 1.55hrs every time. This is a big headache. Other machines have option wherein you can choose whether full cycle or just rinse or spin alone. Pls help

I don’t have this washing machine anymore. Your instruction book should list all the programmes and the time they take. If you haven’t got the instructions, Google the model number and you should find them online.

Great washing machine. Great Demonstration & Review. I noticed that the temperature, although set in 40oC, 20 minutes prior the end of washing, the 40oC index disapper. Why's that? Maybe because the program doesn't use hot water (40oC,) from that time on?

انا تجربتي سيئه مع غساله ال جي الجديده ال 10.5 كيلو انا اشترتها يوم 5 ديسمبر 2020 واستلمتها يوم 6 ديسمبر 2020 واتصلت بخدمه العملاء للتركيب في نفس يوم الاستلام ويوم 7 ديسمبر 2020 تم التركيب من قبل الفني المختص وتم تجربه الغساله من قبل الفني وطبعا بدون ملابس وبعد نزول الفني تم تشغيل الغساله بعد وضع الملابس بها وعند عصر الغسيل سمعنا صوت اشبه بهبوط طائرة صوت عاااااالي جدا ورج وخبط تم الاتصال بخدمه العملاء في نفس الوقت وابلغونا بتحديد موعد زياره الفني يوم 8 ديسمبر 2020 وبعد وصول الفني والتحدث مع مدير الصيانه تم ابلاغنا بضروره فتح الغساله لتقيم الوضع والفني اخبرنا واخبر مدير الصيانة بانه يوجد عيب في المساعدين يلزم تغييره رفضنا التغيير لانه عيب في الصناعة الغساله لم تستخدم بعد واخبرونا بانه سوف يتم عمل التقرير الفني وسوف يتم حل النكبه سريعا ومن يومها ولسه المشكله قائمه وخدمه العملاء مدوخني والتقرير لسه مش طلع بقاله اسبوع والمشكله مش بتتحل ومحدش بيرد علينا ويحل مشكله عيب الصناعه مفيش حد يقدر يستغني عن الغساله لمده اسبوع بالشكل دا

I have this LG washer but mine is 10.5KG model with the same cycle number and functions. Have been used it daily for about 1 year and 7 months and never encounter any issue. I only dislike the fact that the door is dark so I can't see my clothes during the wash but other than that, it's perfect.

The child lock feature disabled all buttons except for the power button. This is useful when you have children in the house and you don't want them to operate the machine Delay end delays the wash time by one-hour increments up to 24 hours.

Can't see what you save by pouring the detergent in the draw while it's filling.... All goes down the same pipe to the drum

Gary Setterfield it is different. If u pour the detergent before the water filling ur detergent will stick on just a small portion of ur clothes.

Also, when you pour it down before starting the wash it goes into the bottom of the tub. The first thing all washers do is to empty any residual water that might have accumulated from the previous wash and with that your detergent would be pumped out :-)

After selecting the wash programme you press the delay end button to select the time you want the washing machine to finish. Note that the time you set is when you want the washer to finish washing the selected load, not when the programme starts. You can easily find the instructions online by searching for the model number followed by instructions.
