For everyone who wonder why OIS is sooo poor, it is because 4k recorded. There is no OIS for 4k. If it 1080p it will be fine and stable. Fyi, even Samsung S7 does not have OIS in 4k. Trust me, I have both this phone. (Sorry for my bad English)

+Floriny es war das g5 ich bekomme bald die originale finale Version des Handys ein unboxing wird dann auch folgen, ich habe 2 Bilder für einen vergleich mit dem weitwinkel gemacht das habe ich mir aber aufgehoben für den vergleich mit dem s7 wenn es soweit ist.

You should have turned on steady record with the OIS. I makes a world of difference.

+fedor3000 es ist mal was neues man hat ja schon den Sprung vom g3 zum g4 gemerkt und zum g5 ist auh sehr enorm grade was die ganze zusatzmodule angeht es ist zwar nicht mehr so schön dünn und es fehlen auf der rückseite die wippen aber das ist alles eine Sache der Gewöhnung es ist sehr gut gelungen und sogar noch besser von der Benutzeroberfläche finde ich persönlich.

Seems a bit better than G4, but still a bit behind the S7, as it stands S7 wins this year unless Apple pull off a shocker. I did hope the 950XL would be king, photos are great but OIS in videos/focus finding was poor.

+Mark Reed Gonna have to disagree, the lg g5's low light is far superior, and color correction where as s7's color is over saturated. Also the the mega wide angle abilities of the g5 is impressive, along with the modular addon for long camera use, and on the fly focus is something that just overshadows the s7. I'm pleased with the g5 this year, and can't wait to get it so I can enjoy long use, and the ability to easily replace battery, and usb type c for super fast transfer rates:)

Nathan Casey OIS is old school now, DIS is the best thing! I hope LG implements it. Videos taken from the Moto X Pure is ridiculously stable!
