if you are the type of a person who is always holding a cellphone and cannot get rid its eyes off of it....then you don't need this phone...if you want to play modern games you don't need this phone if you want to have super HQ pictures and video you don't need this phone....this phone is for persons like me ,i don't care about games nor for high quality pictures or video just texting calls messages radio some apps to spend my time and yes thats it i m happy with that!!!

I use to own the 2016 model and it was simple and easy to use, nothing fancy.but it got stolen but I liked it so much that I got the 2017 model. and I couldn't be happier with it. it's simple and easy to use like the old one,but they made some good improvements, all in all, it's a perfect phone if you just want to make calls and text, and occasionally watch you tube(I'm always watching KZbin, and I find it great, just as good as a more expensive samsung, even my friend who's a die hard samsung fan who has a samsung galaxy, says this phone is almost as good as his, and he played almost 3 times what I did. like I said if you're looking for something that's not too fancy but gets the job done, you can't go wrong with this phone.

dad lost his phone while hunting up north. he calls me (from friends phone) and says what can I do? I found the 2017k4 at a walmart near a city he was in and he went and bought it. After a week he got back and i looked it at. For $88 (alberta canada) it REALLY feels like a nice phone in the hand and works well for the price.

True. But slap an SD card in there and you have an iPod touch for music. That's what I did after I upgraded. Barely does the job as a simple music player though.

I just bought the LGK4 yesterday and in testing it out by phoning my home phone a different name appeared on my home phone display than what my name is. the people at the store said to come back in 24 hours to see if its still displaying the wrong name. can anyone tell me why this may have happened? its a brand new phone

This may be cheap, but it does have a replaceable battery, and (as required by law for sale in Canada) is unlocked (at least here). What will be interesting in the Greater Montreal area is when the "new Opus" system is activated for the metro, buses, commuter trains, and in a couple of years, the new REM (Driverless electric train network now under construction). At age 76, I don't have a lot of use for a smartphone, but prefer to work with my Lenovo business laptop running Fedora. Generally Android is plagued with too many unavoidable ads, and the screens are too small to do much. But if I can make a simple phone call, look up a map or bus timing, and maybe listen to some music, That will do.

im sorry if my comment sounded kinda douche bagyy but i am grateful that i have this phone its just that nowadays apps take up so much memory that trying to play a game like shadow fight 2 or 3 games with quite high graphics it lags a lot but i put up with it, and i hate how in most phones the processing systems or what ever takes up half of the mobile phones internal data so the memory packaged on the box is kinda false leading to me being further frustrated with the phone because i cant have more than one good game on my phone at any one time,your probably gonna say get an SD card which i do its a 16gb one but the thing with games is you cant put them on the sd card leading to more anoying things, thats why im just gonna save up and get a beast of a phone.:)

You can use SD card but not as internal storage. Some apps can be moved to SD card. To move system apps you would need to root the phone. I disabled all the stuff I didn't want before updating the software on phone. After installing all the apps I wanted I have 1.74gb internal remainig, which while not a lot is sufficient. As a very cheap budget phone It's actually quite usable.
