Nice video. The space/science sound effects are a bit overwhelming. The tech is sound. Variable speed compressors are very efficient and eliminating ducting (or most ducting) is nice. I too have heard LG has mixed reviews on relighability when compared to companies like Mitsubishi.

LG you have decent dishwashers but mostly famously known for your horrible fridges. If you skimp on making fridges that are really bad quality, I think you need to fix the 'compressor' for your fridges before you venture off into other projects like a HVAC (which is also like a fridge). Don't be greedy.

The copper piping is gonna cost you more than the outdoor unit. As not necessarily all the rooms are faced to the direction of the compressor. The plumbing cost of copper pipe is very high.

i have a lot of questions ... if the outdoor unit is 3 ton and for example i turn on the ac in room a will thr whole 3 ton unit power on and consume that much electricity and for example in room a heat is needed and in room b cooling is needed what will the outdoor unit do then ???

Samina Burhan the Unit is a variable speed inverter, it changes its output to suit needs. So no, not always 3 ton. With this system it can you can only heat or cool the rooms. The system can’t do both at the same time. It’s a very efficiently controlled system.

Does the code on the PCBs has a timer for programmed obsolescence? Multi-Split is definitely what I need, but I think there's too many PCBs with stuff that I can't control, I'll have to keep looking.

Well I’m kind of sure bills will be higher too. I hope for this Multi split has its own sensor as well. So u can just leave all of it ON and will just automatically run when temp. Gets higher just like in central AC.

Better to stick to individual indoor-outdoor units rather than multi split since cost remains more or less similar.. Any damage to compressor will render the entire indoor units useless. So far, it doesn't seem to available in India for whoevr is searching. Mitsubishi has thou.a bit costly but reliable. But they provide only to hotels and complexes.

What is the point of this? To eliminate air ducts? But then you have to run pipes to every room and every room has a noisy blower fan. I don't get it... seems like it would be easier and better (in many ways) to just run air ducts.

I suggest not to go for it... Only reason is... If something goes wrong with outdoor unit all the ACs of home stop working... It is an electronic device so anything can be happen with it... In our country we don't always get proper power supply so chances are too high for any electronic products to get fail/stop working.. And if in summer LG or any other company told us that parts are not available or it will take 2 days to repair.. Trust me our family members will kills us for buying it.... but if you can buy 2 set of it then you can enjoy all the benefits

@@reyantm As u wish.. Now a days builder see to it that u will able to put outdoor and indoor unite in all the rooms.. I have blue star's VRV at office we have use it to save power and its saving great power as its not working at all.. Smaller amount of power fluctuations has burned their cards, cards are not expensive and its under warranty also but if one card fails its stop entire plant.. As each and every indoor and outdoor communicate with each other. I have commented base on my experience but u r free to install whatever you like. Make sure u use power stabilizers also as in India you will not get power without fluctuations and you are the one who will suffer.. Best of luck

Hamir Bharwad the point is space saver. In Indonesia apartment has a tiny balcony space that owner can utilize. I have 3 ACs and a tiny outdoor space, I used to have 3outdoor units and literally I have no space left. But I changed mine to multi split system not from LG, and I got my balcony back. 3 ACs (inside) 1 outdoor unit outside and it hangs on the wall. In Indonesia you’re not allowed to use building facade to instal anything.
