Out of all the years that I have spent on youtube watching thousands of technology, gadget, software, hardware and mobile devices reviews. I felt compelled to write my first ever comment as a user on youtube to your video. You have an amazing personality with confidence and rare talent for speech and presentation. Great smile and superb editing! You even got some sweet rythym and moves. Thank you for taking your time effort and energy to do a video review like this. I have only watched one video of yours before preparing this comment. I not only will return to watch more I will spread the word about your channel. Since I work for a certain mobile/technology retail store and veteran employee of a popular refreshment delivery company. You can bet I will let the hundreds of customers I deal with and interact with on a regular basis will be recommended and directed to when they ask for more information on products every chance I get. Not to mention I will respectfullly borrow your review notes and apply them to my customer approach aswell if you don't mind? You have restored my faith in youtube technology reviews. I have no other user to compare you to. In my opinion, you're the echelon of reviewers.

I've had this set for about a month now, and I absolutely love my set... I didn't want the knock offs or cheaper versions. and went all the way for this set... What really sold me was the retractable cord, always been a pain having the string flowing all every where

Chris Blalock​ i agree, the string can be annoying at times. Sometimes those clips come undone, but you cant get passed the durability. The only thing i like about these are the retractable buds, but as we know with stuff like this. How long will that retractable feature work?

I have the tone pro and just love them. I use them all day long at work to answer calls, in the car to answer phone calls and my favorite to use when I work out and go running. I was so in love with my tone pro that I decided to order the Infinim from best buy and give my tone pro's to my daughter. Now, that I see this video I think I will stick to the tone pro's and cancel my order, because I literally wear them for 8 hours a day and comfort is more important than sound quality, especially if you really can't tell a huge difference. I have been waiting for these to drop. When the lg g3 press Introduction was happening and they teased us with these bad boys, I really couldn't wait to get my hands on a pair. I have had the 730s for about 1 year and just recently purchased the 800s and love the quality of sound and versatility of both sets. Best headphones i have ever used. I appreciate the time and effort taken to give them the once over and providing useful info on the pros and cons.

Thank you so much for taking the time to test, film, and edit your video. It's very time consuming, yet very rewarding to do these types of reviews. A few things I wanted, but didn't get from you, was talk clarity and noise reduction from the listener. The first version with the orange tips are the best for range, but worst for noise reduction in phone calls, as far as I know. Since you own all of the versions, you would be the best person (due to your apparent panache for editing) to make a chart with all of the selling points and rate all of them, from a consumer point of view. Then explain how they performed and explain how and why you did so. Great job!

Very useful review... Was at Best Buy and was about to buy the Ultras, until I saw the Infinim out of stock... Quickly I searched for reviews to see what would best suit me. Finally came upon this one and glad that I did... Unless I were able to "win" the Infinim, my money is being used for the Ultras... I'll miss that sick sliver look and the retractable ear buds... But I think all the pros of the Ultra will outweigh the Infinim.

I actually have been looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones for a while. I did research on a couple, but remembered I watched a VERGE review video of the LG G3 and the senior editor had the LG Tone around his neck. I thought, "that looked interesting", and he was raving about how good it was. So I did some further research and the reviews of it were really good. I LOVE this new one, I LOVE that it looks premium, love the colour, LOVE how the controls are layed out, but most of all, LOVE!!! the way how you retract the ear-buds. It is totally AWESOME!!!!! I really hope I win this, like REALLY, but if I don't, I will definitely be buying probably the Tone Pro 750. Great review and I look forward to watching more on your channel. By the way, do these come with a case cause I know in your previous reviews that was one of your complaints, and how long do you think before they would start showing signs of wear?

Had these and returned them within two weeks. First off, they are bigger, actually surprisingly bigger. The retractable cable was a nice feature but I had the feeling the 24 gauge, or close to, housing for the ear bud speaker wires are way too small and will get damaged easily through constant pulling and retraction of the cable. I didn't like that I had to retract every time and if I didn't, the wires just hung down curled up a bit and didn't look professional especially at work. The sound quality difference was not worth harmon kardon putting their name on these except a little more treble. We're talking about a speaker that's about 1/4" around, even smaller. So how much sound quality difference can you get anyway? I have the HBS-760's for now and I am happy but I'm still awaiting LG to make something that can't be beat while sticking with this design. I think retractable is not the way to go. Try them yourself and I'm pretty sure you will feel the same. But a good thing for you now, they have gone down tremendously in price and LG has other retractable headsets already out for 2016. One aspect of the Infinim's I really like is when you had them on under your collar. I couldn't tell you even had them on. With the thin wire going to the ear bud I could barely see them. The tone and talk app seems interesting too. I think LG continues to keep improving on a very good product. (Great review).

Great review. You can find them at a corporate AT&T for $149.00. I've used all the LG models and the 730's have the highest volume if you like your music that way. I tried out the Tone Infinim's at the store and the volume was not bad. The sound quality was great. I liked everything about them except the retractable cord is so thin I just wonder how long they will last. I wish you could of brought that into your review. The one nice feature about them is they will announce the name of the caller as long as they are in your contacts. If it wasn't for the price I would have bought them. The 750's have a connection issue where they lose connection while on the phone after several minutes and the volume is no where near as loud. The Ultra's volume was not as loud either. All the Tone products have great sound like you said. Thanks for a great review

Fantastic review. Totally nailed every possible question I was looking for. I had gotten a good deal on a pair of 800s, and was wondering if going up to this version was worth the extra cost (2x) before I opened them. The biggest things I was wondering about was the sound quality comparison (I am a fan of HK), and you answered that thoroughly. The small difference was not enough to interest me in the upgrade. The stiff neck is something I didn't consider, and that is a deal breaker. I wear them to ride, and need to be able to both have them on long term and store them when I don't need them. Thanks for the solid review. You covered the important stuff without wasting time. And double thank you for not wasting time on the unboxing.

When I first saw the video, the look of the Infinim's was definitely unique and I thought the silver style sort of stood out. I was so used to the black color. After seeing this video many times the silver look is so classy and stylish, I'm really impressed with them. I'm sure they sound as good as you say they do and the unique features you referenced have me sold on them.

I'm currently using the LG Tone+ and am very happy with the sound quality but love the retractable cord of the Infinims since the cord of the Tone+ does get tangled up with my hair sometimes! The Infinims seem like a good solution for us ladies with longer hair...

I have also really enjoyed the lg tone since the first model was released. Other headsets have gotten lost when I take then off because I was tired of wearing them, but the tone only required me to remove the ear bud. They were comfortable enough that I would forget to take then off at night and fall asleep wearing them. This is where the HBS 900 worries me, but the retractable ear buds do seem like a nice change, I have lost or broken the little plastic keepers on all of my previous tones and not having to worry about that sounds great. I would love to give these a try.

Im officially hooked on your reviews. I unfortunantly purchased a few knock off pairs of the tone + from ebay. I was so against buying any other headsets but I need them bad!! I came to review a newer model and found your reviews. Im searching for a good pair that I can wear while working out and of course for driving. I just dont like the on the ear headsets. Really excited about these. I love the form factor and appreciate the upgraded sound quality. I most appreciate the design improvement though. The others can look goofy when they get lopsided or have the earbuds dangling about, but these look really sharp and seem like they will stay centered on the neck better as well.

I've had 700/730/750 and now these 900... They are the best so far, they do not fall out easy. I did get the two year warranty because with the old models, one ear bud does go out after hard use. Plus, now your tugging on them to pull them out. The wire is much more thinner also.

I'm with you on the Tones, but I have questions for you. I'm asking you because I've looked at a number of your reviews and you take the time to do proper reviews and when I've had experience with the products, I agree with your comments! My hearing isn't great, so I originally bought the LG 700's because I wanted a Bluetooth binaural headset to use for phone calls. You've mentioned that the Tones have good sound, but arenot great for phone calls due to the limitations on the microphone. I agree. At least you take the time to consider phone call performance, which almost none of the other reviewers even bother to evaluate. I upgraded to the LG 730 and then to the LG 750's. I'm looking at a further upgrade to the Ultra 800's, but the Infinums make me nervous because I've never had a cord retractor on anything that lasted very long. I definitely prefer in-the-ear styles like the LG Tones. HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS: (The sound I hear has always been fine on the Tones from the 700's on up. I don't want to sacrifice a huge amount on sound quality, but I really would like better microphone performance so that the person I'm talking to can hear me better!) 1. Which of the stereo/binaural headsets you've tested give the best phone call performance? 2. If I were to go with a one-ear model, which do you recommend? 3. If I were to consider over or on the ear styles, is their a headset with significantly better phone call performance? If it makes any difference in your response, my phone is an LG G2, which I love and don't plan to upgrade any time soon - but If I did, it would be to the LG G3.

I am impressed with your comparison of the previous models vs the tone infinim. I thank you for your evaluation. I just invested in one myself. I believe that this one is only best if I had an LG phone. Unfortunately I have the Iphone and cannot get the Bluetooth to work with it. I will probably have to return it. I liked your final comment that the previous models are more pliable and easier to store away. And that the sound isn't much different from the pro.... Many thanks

so HBS 900 was the top of the line LG when release? but then 910 and 1100 were released for the next generation, meaning the 910 is as good as the 900 (w/better specs) and the 1110 is even better than that? did I get it right?

I bought a pair of these about 2 weeks ago to go with my LG G4 phone and LG f7.0 tablet and I love them!!! I wear them while working outside in the yard and walking. I h have a pair of beatsI bought about 4 years ago and sound quality on the LG matches them. I like the wireless connection with phone while outdoors because of the fit of them and don't fall off my head while doing outdoor activities.

Great job Steven! I agree with you completely--I love the LG Tone! I had mine for two years before the headphones stopped working. I got an identical replacement(730s) and have enjoyed them since. I really appreciate the new styling and features of the Infinim, but the flexibility might be an issue for many people. Like Mitch Hedberg used to say about turtlenecks feeling like "being strangled by a really weak guy all day". The retractable cords sound great, I hate wires and the LG Tone is the best compromise on the market right now. I do worry that the more complicated the mechanism involved in the retractable wires the more likely it could get damaged---Hopefully I'm wrong. I might try them out in a few years when the price drops well below the $150! mark and into my budget. Thanks for the review.

great review. I have had 2 pairs of the 640 model. Each pair ended up with less sound on the right after about 2 to 3 weeks. I had to turn up the volume all the way and it was still not long enough. do you feel that this model will have longevity? I worry that the constant tugging on the wires will cause the same problem. Apparently, your interest in headphones is to listen to music. I need them to talk on the phone. There wasn't any commentary regarding this. Especially, the noise cancellation feature I wanted to hear a 1st hand experience about. For me, that is a much bigger aspect of , not only my reason to purchase, as it is in LG's pride of design as they fight Bose who seems to have the ultimate noise cancellation technology going...however at a much steeper price. Appreciate what you did show and talk about. The comfort thing and flexibility contrast wasn't one I considered. So, nice to hear about. I will focus my attention on that concern and see if it's an issue for me. Good Review, otherwise.

One really nice feature, that you reference of the Infinim's that I like is it's battery life. Compared to just about all the wireless headsets out there it has to be at the top. The equalizer with aptx is also another great feature. I hope the phone call quality is as good or better than the previous models. Certain older models seemed to mute the microphone during a call after a period of time but other that that the 730's were great! Thanks again and hope for another review soon,

I have the 750's and the so called noise reduction is non existent. Every time Im on a call people complain about not being able to hear me. My wife has a pair also and I can hear everything elese except her. Did you come across

I just purchased these headphones and I gotta say the sound is way much cleaner than the previous pair I've had which were the hbs750. The hbs730 had better sound than the 750s but the 900s are louder like the 730s and cleaner. I have to agree that u do realize they are still around ur neck when not in use and the bulky-ness of them aren't exactly what I expected. The retractable earphones are a plus but I'm weary of the thin cable. (which is why I purchased the insurance $1.27 isn't really gonna break me) A positive is that they don't slide. Well not yet as I said I just got them. I would definitely have to wear them a little longer to see what happens as far as that's concerned. I have 15 days to decide if I'm going to keep them or go back to my 750s since 730s aren't made anymore. I'm definitely gonna stick with LG as far as Bluetooth headphones go. Hate wires and all these other imposters can't touch LG... even Beats. The return rate on the new beats wireless is high I know because I work in retail. So many people choose the LGs over all others including me. As far as the price is concerned your paying for that Harmon Kardon name. I got mine for free so like I said. YOUR paying for the name... Not me lol

Thanks for the great review. Any thoughts on voice / microphone quality / noise reduction? I've had the 700, 730, and 800 and with each, people consistently tell me they can't hear me well. As soon as I switch to the phone microphone, they hear me perfectly.

I plan on using these for audiobooks. Do they rewind by a time increment for example 15 seconds or do they just rewind? Either way is good. Do I need to buy an android device to use them? I think I heard you say the app is only on android. 4:40

I like the Hbs-900s they seem cool, I recently bought a pair of hbs-730s from Amazon, I couldn't wait to get them, but when I finally got them, i realized that they were counterfeit and I had to send them back for a refund, ever since then I've been rocking my old bluetooth that has little battery life, I'm a big fan of LG, and I think this device is really sweet, I'm definitely subscribing to your channel not only for the headset, but you're so into detail about new products out there.

Hi, I just got my LG tone infinim today. I'm wondering if it's fully charged as soon as the light turns blue or should I leave it to charge until the light goes off or something? The manual booklet and quick starter guide doesn't mention anything about it.

Hello Brother, you did an excellent review on the hbs900 model. I was wondering if you can help me. I purchased a set and two days into them I began having trouble with the Bluetooth connection while listening to music. I returned them and got another one and I'm also experiencing the same problem. I have a Samsung Note 5 and had an old Bluetooth earpiece that worked just fine for the past three years until it stopped working due to battery charger. I have tested other Bluetooth devices with my phone and it works great. I was wondering if you have heard of any deficiencies with the hbs900 models. Thank you for your help.

I tried the 800 and 900 and returned them both.I must say that the 900 design is awesome but I found the connection to play you tube and music chopping in the connects.I had to disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth on my mobile device in order for them to work for both LG devices( 800-900).I have the Motorola earbuds and being able to have a 100 feet between you and your device helps with the LG 900 20 feet and you have issues with hearing.I will stick to my Motorola till LG gets it right along with the price

Ok, so im sold on trying a pair of the Lg's, but which ones. 900, 800 or 750's? Ive been beating up Amazon reading all the reviews and have been nothing but confused on which are the best. Are the 900's really worth double the money? Is the on/off a push on, or a slide on switch? I recently purchased my first jawbone. Hate it! Way too small, controls suck w/ mans hands, and i'm always misplacing it. Not to mention constantly fiddling w/ the stupid thing to keep it in my ears. love the Plantronics Voyager Legends, but they break too easily. Seems like I need to replace them every 4 months or so, gets expensive. Plus they just don't have quite enough volume. Thanks for posting up such a great review! Subscribed! ! !

My Tone + is failing after one year. The wire are now exposed from the sides, so I took the plung and ordered the infinims particularly for the rectracters and durability. They are $129 at Verizon in both silver with black and black with red . I went with the black ones. I don't know if it's a ripoff, but I if these are much more durable, I won't have to buy a new one every year. I just hope that I will notice a quality boost in sound, but we'll see.

So I'm really interested with this headphone. My concern is, with the retractable earbuds, how will the wear and tear affect the headphones?

I recently borrowed a set of 730s (dont worry I used my own gel covers; turns out Skullcandy covers pop right on) and I am very impressed. Verizon is pushing the 750s right now, but I have heard several complaints about the volume levels on the 750 being much lower than that of the 730. I'm sure that problem is erased bumping up to the 800 or 900 level Tones, but I'm a minimalist kind of guy. Any insight on the 730 vs 750 battle?

I always liked the look of the black tones no matter which version i saw. After watching this video many times i do agree the silver has a look of being more high end and classy. I wonder how the gold ones will look.

Great review. Thank you. But you did not mention anything about the Ambient Noise Canceling compared to the HBS-800. Does it work well on that model? There's no ANC switch on HBS-900. Is it missing the feature from the previous model or is it always on?

Waleed Al Suwaimel their is not ANC on the infinims. and although I appropriated having it, most people complained about it on the 800s. People said they couldn't tell the difference, and that it reduced their battery life. but the buds on the 900s do a good enough job of blocking out outside noise. personally i liked the ANC but i can understand why they didn't include it this time around. honestly if you use the 800s with anc and upgrade to the 900s i dont think you will be disappointed.

how long does it take to charge them and or if the blue light is on is it still charging ! when I was listening to them I started hear mild beeps so I figured they needed charging ! I would like to know for sure ! thank you for when you get back to me. !

Hi Steven, Good video! I have two previous models of the LG headsets, but people say they cant hear me as well during a call when using my headsets as when I am talking directly through my phone. Could you tell me if any of these bluetooth style of stereo headsets offer equivalent quality microphone pickup as a cell phone has during a phone call? Thanks, Tony
