Just to let everyone know, .mov videos are supported. On the website from the link it says it's unsupported. It works for the LH3000 models at least, can't see why it wouldn't work with any others.

I have a LG 42LH3000. I play my movies by connecting to laptop via hdmi or usb feature on my dvd player. I being the idiot didn't realise I had USB on my tv, after checking my tv, found the usb. I followed exactly the vid and link instruction (note: press fav x7 on Menu not option). It works 100% perfect, it takes literally minutes to do it. I have ordered a 16gb usb for this so I can play my large blue-ray movies that doesn't fit on 2gb. Everyone this works 100%, very simple + no risk.

it worked fine for me. i have LG 37LH3000. i downgraded from 3.75 to 3.15 and i did the usb trick. but now im afraid to update again to 3.75. is it important to do this update, because everything works fine for me with 3.15 firmware. what do you think??? did you update your tv again after the usb trick or you kept the 3.15 firmware.

Hi, having the USB Features is great, but the video control sucks such as the rewind or forward, its goes in minutes instead of seconds so controls are very bad. Is there anyway to improve this such as any hacks or buying a new lg remote with the rewind button ect.

You forgot to mention that after activating the USB hack you can upgrade to the firmware of your choosing (preferibly the latest) without loosing the hack. Esqueceste-te de mencionar que depois de activar o hack USB podem faer o upgrade para um firmware qualquer (de preferência a mais recente) sem perder o hack. O meu 37LH3000 está com a versão 3.75.

Hey bud can a lg 3d Blu Ray dvd playrrbe downgraded the last update put in cinavia protection, not letting me play backed up movies. It's safer to leave kids with backup bd and dvd r than orig. Thanks any help would be appreciated

@orexha Hi , it was working fine with 3.15 so I did not risk to upgrade to 3.75 , but I have read that once the hack is done the upgrade will not unlock usb DIVX .
