I love his fascination with this washer. I've been kinda obsessed with this washer since i bought one and I've never had a front load washer before. Being able to watch laundry get washed is going to be fun!

@@Mike-4547 Absolutely zero issues with it! I usually use it for two loads a week and still running strong! But I've only had it for a little over a year and a half now, so wouldn't expect issues. Also I always remove the soap tray drawer to let it the interior water spouts air dry and also leave the door open to let the rubber gasket air dry as well. And have had no build up by doing that after every use! Also I check the filter at the bottom every 4 to 5 months. But you don't have to do that as often, just want it to last me a very long time!

@ thank you for the reply, maintenance is no problem for me I enjoy keeping everything working good. I live by myself but I do about 3 loads of laundry a week that includes bedsheets and towels. Right now I have an 15 year old Samsung top and bottom front loader washer dryer and it’s on its last leg the problem is spin cycle at the end.

I was interested in a front load because I thought they were never out of balance, just throw in whatever and go. Thank you for the heads up !!!
@dregenius
@dregenius Жыл бұрын
They certainly are worlds better than trash-loaders for balancing, since they can simply go back to tumble and redistribute the clothes... top loaders only get one chance to even *move* clothes... once they start the spin, if they're out of balance, that's it... at least a front load machine has a chance.

In July I purchased the LG WM3600 and I have a similar problem, every load (no matter the size of type) when the spin cycle starts the washer door bangs violently....I have had 3 technician visits and they keep telling me this is normal behavior. No way I am accepting that this is normal. My previous Kenmore Front never did that in the 17 years I had it. I understand its a likely an unbalanced load....but if every load no matter what size or type is "unbalanced" then this is a manufactor defect. I am working with LG customer service now and trying to get them to either replace the machine or give me my money back. Because if this is "normal" for LG machines I would have selected another brand....

These washers are much larger than older washers, and when they get unbalanced the door bows in and out because of the amount of pressure. Normal.

Waaay too much detergent….no more than a 1/2 tbsp should be used with that load. I eventually quit using All & switched to Tide because there’s almost Zero suds (as long as you use the right amount). The washer probably wasn’t level & that’s probably why it was banging.

I think this one is good. It just did that because there was only a small load in the machine. It won’t do that with a large load. This was the only time it did that, and it did multiple spin washes.

I agree. Although I would get the higher end LG WM4200HBA in black stainless steel to replace our atrocious Whirlpool set because those actually have USABLE recirculation jets, turbo wash 360 and a bunch of other good stuff. I would not get the 4500 with EZ dispense because I don’t see the point in it and we wouldn’t be able to use it anyway because we use laundry sheets.

Idk how americans can wash their clothes on a 65 Minute cycle🥲
@maxbubbles6009
@maxbubbles6009 2 жыл бұрын
@@lglover8699 The USA has lower standards than Europe in terms of energy and water consumption hence the shorter cycles. It can get shorter than this, because on our Whirlpool, the normal cycle with light soil is 43 minutes, probably shorter with time reductions and the default normal cycle, probably the cycle most Americans use, is 50 minutes long. I do wonder how you Europeans do all your laundry on 2 and 3 plus hour cycles and have time to wash multiple loads. I also wonder how many Europeans live without a dryer or dishwasher.

@maxbubbles6009
@maxbubbles6009 Жыл бұрын
LG’s actually use a lot of water. Because of the way they’re designed, they don’t fill through a spout on the rubber door seal. Instead, they fill through the drain holes in the drum. If you’re not satisfied with the water level, you can adjust the pressure switch to make it add more water by turning an adjustment screw on the pressure switch.

The pressure switch is a white disk looking think inside the top panel which can be removed by unscrewing 3 screws on the back of the machine.

It's funny how for US market all the info on a washing machine is written like for a childs. Cotton is normal and temperature is cold, warm and hot. Hot is like boiling hot ot just hot ... 🤷 In Europe, we have a temperature ... 30, 40, 60, 80 and 95 ... 95 °C is almost boiling ... and so on.
@Ikey04-ge9gy
@Ikey04-ge9gy 8 ай бұрын
Maybe because it’s more straightforward? Mericans rather just go off of words not numbers stats and icons. I’m operating a washer not a particle accelerator. Besides, these US front loaders easily blow their European counterparts out of the water. They’re so much better.

@Ikey04-ge9gy
@Ikey04-ge9gy 8 ай бұрын
Ok 1) they’re more versatile, because of their immense American size. They can wash a whole king bed set including a thick duvet in a go while not being crammed full and loosely loaded. In a European make you’d have to literally cram in a queen bed set. 2) bigger drum means more room for clothes to move around, more room they have means a quicker wash and more thorough clean. 3) this links into the second point but they’re more time efficient, have hot and cold fill. In a European machine a default cotton wash at 60 is oftentimes north of 2 hours… 4) more reliable capacity measuring system. America uses the cubic foot (volume) measuring system meaning that each washers capacity is described based on the fixed inner volume of the drum. In Europe however, they use KG. It sounds better in theory, but unlike volume, a made up statistic like kilograms are EASILY manipulated by manufacturers to make more money. Look it up. A machine advertised as “10kg” may only fit about 7kg realistically. Actually, some manufacturers even create models with the same size drum but a whole 2kg capacity difference? So unreliable.

I've sold many hundreds of washing machines and the WM3400 has been the entry level unit with the *lowest* return rate I've ever sold. Only the WM4000 has a slightly higher "customer satisfaction" and that's likely because the turbowash makes it look busier. lol

In this case, that’s just because there’s less than a half load in the machine. It shouldn’t happen if it’s full, or close to it.
@Ikey04-ge9gy
@Ikey04-ge9gy 8 ай бұрын
They can have unbalanced loads but because of gravity they can easily sort out unbalanced loads themselves without human intervention. Notice how it immediately stopped banging after it sensed an imbalance and didn’t bang after that. A top loader would just keep trying and banging and banging and then beep a code begging for its owner to intervene
