No, from what we've odvserved so far, The LHD features simplink instead, to enable you control your LG TV and LHD with a single remote control via HDMI. Party link works between xbooms featuring parrylink.

I wanted to buy a Sound system an LG to be precise because of the warrantee. But I want something very modern and very loud which I can use to disturb my neighbors. So now I am in between the ARX10 and CL87, and I wanted to know which one is louder with the strongest bass

I use to believe that a system with subwoofer use to be louder than one without subwoofer. But recently I have seen many sound system without subwoofer that are loud for some people. But for me I have a very high taste for Sound system that is why I have decided to choose between the ARX10 and CL87. And mostly the characteristics I wanted to have in any of the either is the strength of the bass and how it can play outdoors

Have you considered the xboom cl98?.. It sounds like exactly what you need.... And that X-shiny featrure will definitely thrill you. The DJ effects on it also super cool... And has stronger bass than both cl87 and arx10

Soundbar will give you better sound filtration, and depending on the number of speaker channels, would also give you better surround effect. Xboom on the other hand doesn't do well with sorround effect, but is louder, and can be used outdoors on events where outdoor music is needed. Also remember the karaoke and DJ effects feature, that makes it better for playing musicals. But you'd be trading off the DVD aspect. If the entertainment system is for the home, get a soundbar.😎 But if you have neighbors you hate, get an xboom.

In comparison with LHD687, they both come out strong, depending on what you need. The LHD687 is better when it comes to surround effect because of the 4.2channel configuration, its designed to give immersive effect from movies like what you'd get in a cinema, it has Dolby audio, so when it comes to movies, and overall home theatre experience, the LHD687 rules over all Xboom audio series. I'd do a comparison video on both. The LHD687 also has great volume but nothing compared to the CL87 Xboom, the CL87, is basically designed for loudness and what it lacks in surround effect, it delivers in loudness. When it comes to Karaoke, the LHD687 has it, is nothing compared to the CL87, CL87 is king of Karaoke, but it only plays audio formats, it can only play the audio from a video via aux or Bluetooth. CL97 is designed to maximise muzik!, but LHD687 will blow your mind with moviez! Experience. If you are thinking of something you can play outdoors for a party or any crazy outdoor sound, CL87 is your pick.

system says 2350 watts..but on the back of the receiver it says it neds 250 watts...anyone find that fishy ?

Hey Infrasonic, Its a common curiosity, but here is why this device and other sound systems, have 2 different power ratings; The much emphasized 2350Watts, isn't measuring the power consumption (I should probably do a video on that), but rather rates the power output of the Amplifier, which translates to loudness, and often WPC (Watt per channel) which is the loudness and clarity you can get from each speaker channel, this is why it is used as a selling point for sound systems. The 250Watts behind (that isn't emphasized much on by the manufacturer) is the electricity power consumption (in terms of Current X Voltage). In a nutshell - 2350W Measures sound power and loudness - 250W measures electric power consumption Thanks for your comment😉

Need help here, im confused choosimg between sony shake x10d and lg cl88, which is better in terms of KARAOKE, bass, quality and clearness of music. Im more on, singing and listining music more on bass. Thankyou for answering

They can both perform well on karaoke, xboom performs well on mixing although shake gives higher sound quality... Aside the sound quality and durability of Sony shake, the Xboom will be more cost effective and since it's just for music 🎶🎼, Xboom is your guy.

The triple woofers from cj45 will definitely give you better surround effect plus the bass, but the cl87 will limit you to front sorround. Nevertheless the cl87 has stronger bass and require less wiring. Cl87 also has better dj effect.

The LG Xboom is always exaggerated regarding the true watts of this sound system unlike b4 the xmetal series and about head to head match Sony is always win against LG for example cl87 vs x10d then cl98 vs x30d and ck99 vs x70d I'm witnessing already in actual and must say that Sony is a head 60/40 better than LGs sound machine😊

You don't know what you are saying. If not, I don't know why you will be comparing two devices with different price points. The Sony comparison you made is 2 to 5 times more expensive than the LG counterparts. Do you know what more money means in production
