A lot of these "Portable Party Speakers" have a portable light show (which I do not need or want) so please always tell us how to stop it. Thanks dude. I would be concerned about this design just rolling arway all the time.

I just bought this today but I will be returning it. I need a loudspeaker and a useful microphone device. Whilst this sounds excellent and i have no issues with its quality of sound, its absolutely fantastic, clear, and loud but when using it as a speakerphone I give it zero marks. No one can hear me, and the voice on the receiver end breaks all the time. so back it goes because I have no other use for it. I do not listen to music on the go.

Thanks for watching! I wouldn't say it's louder, or even better than the PK 7. There is definitely a slight difference in sound though. I think it mostly comes down to the form. Maybe a lot of people didn't like the looks of the PK7?

I gotta say I'm disappointed in the PL7. Compared to the Sony XB33 the sound and overall quality is lacking. I'm also disappointed that LG basically downsized their line this go round. The largest, PL7, is similar to the Sony XB33 or JBL Charge 4. Previous line the largest PK7 was similar to the Sony XB41 and JBL Xtreme 2. Not sure what LG was thinking, but they basically did away with the largest speaker and made a smaller one (PL2) that I guess would be similar to Sony Xb12.

@Tommo Tography couldn't agree with you more. I've had the chance to spend a couple of days with the PL7, put it up against my XB43 and Extreme 3, doesn't hold a candle. Waaaaay too flat and not in a good way. Loudness is another concern, the sound stage is pretty narrow and instead of making those radiators semi-RGB they could've just made it sound better, since when the rads are the accent, you would expect a bit more bass.

#newstuff So the video is still playing - first time but here I am having no choice but to put in that #SmellsLikeBass has to be the best line so far. We already had #Chairboogie but #SmellslikeBass is gonna hit the social media tonight!! The PL7 sounds like it is hitting it in a heavy way. The other two are nice but the market has so many in those categories. The Daddy tho'..... Nice bass, balanced sound, ... I want to hear it in person. How does that compare to the Soundcore Motion+. (And when they are in stereo) Sounds like a contender. Dude - you need to hear the Bose Revolve+ and the Bang and Olufsen P6. Either one in Stereo - Mind blowing!! .... Just sayin'. We have the same phone so I have done the dual Bluetooth thing before and it is great when they are in sync. (If they are close - Android will try and bring them in synch - it gives up if they are too far apart) Chris Rock - "Can you hear the words that are coming out of my mouth" - Rush Hour!!! I saw the old LG speakers in Costco and didn't even try them as they seemed a little big and unwieldy. Had no idea that they had rocking sound! The new ones are much more portable. Will look-out for the new ones. Another powerful entry - another #Chairboogie and we got a heavy #SmellsLikeBass in addition. Cooking with Gas bro'! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🔥🔥👊🏽

With the price of the Lg pk7 and the other new one I got me a mor powerful system Philips mini stereo system I paid $199.99 at Walmart and it sounds good I also have LG pk7 and I paid the same $199.99 and it doesn't sound like my Phillips stereo system. I don't know why I paid that now I'm stuck with it. I don't even like portable bluetooth speakers I'm old school I prefer a big big mini stereo system to me they are more worth it. But everyone has their own style of radios......
