This episode is usually considered at the bottom of people's tier lists of Owl House episodes. It does advance the plot with the reveal of Eda once wanting to join the coven, but the story was mostly just filler. However, as a long term fan I do really appreciate it for King's story, mostly because it is the biggest look we get in season 1 of Boscha's gang outside of school and the fanfiction and side-character lover in me eats that up. Most people will say that season 1 is good but has some not so good episodes like this one, but from episode 15 onward (Where Disney gave full creative control to the show staff) the show does not have a single bad episode at all.

Well, people are piling onto this episode and I just have to say... Yeah, I'll kick this episode while its down. It is not good. What is good is that this is the worst TOH episode, it only gets better from here.

This episode is almost unanimously considered the worst Owl House episode. Also, the first two half of the first season are kind of just Ok. Only near the end of season one is that the show starts to get good. But in compensation it gets really good and then keeps getting better.

It was around episode 15 or so when Dana Terrace got a lot more freedom to do what she wanted. I still really enjoy the show early on and some of it is amazing (like the Covention fight, the revelation of Eda's curse, etc).

How cool it must be to work in a cat cafe, I'd love that but unfortunately for me the closest one to me is in a nearby city and driving in big cities is rather anxiety inducing.
