I just found this vignette love story and understood the pain of these two people unable to avoid the pressure of an ignorant and uncaring world. Today, when I see two people in love I say a silent wish that they are a ble to remain authentic and true, one to the other, for the whole of gheir lives. I've watched this movie several times. It's so beautiful and wonderfully acted. The final scene is so heartbreaking. I take comfort in believing that now free to share love with Tom and living openly together, Patrick would be out of that chair in a matter of weeks.

im sobbing bc i JUST noticed the parallel of the ending scene where tom touches patricks neck with his index finger just like in the scene where he touches him first on that couch. and patrick instantly recognizes tom from the same touch and leand against it. im just. really emotional abt it im also emotional bc harry styles said in an interview something along the lines that the heartbreaking part of this movie is the wasted time. bc time is one of the things we cant get back awesome edit!!! many thnx for sharing it with us!!

I think this way the movie was way more understandable as the story is split between 2 time periods simultaneously. very beautiful and heartbreaking, prepare some tissues 😪
