This turned out so well. Everyone’s parts are so emotional! And I really love the small detail of the collab starting and ending with the same character and scene. It gives a different kind framing for the collab. And Emily the coloring is beautiful :)

Yeah I love that Pitu' saw what you did to end the collab and she decided to start it earlier into the same scene (because she actually edited her "part 1" after seeing how the collab would end). I love that so much, it really did give a different framing to the whole collab. That's such a great way to put it! Oh and thank you so much for complimenting my coloring!

Also, I really loved both of your parts!! You did such a great job, like you always do. And you vidded more fandoms I knew than most vidders in here. I especially loved how you picked out just the Santana voiceover of "I have to just be me." while showing her starting to pull her grandmother (abuela) to the table with that innocent, sweet look on her face, as the start of her courageous coming out scene, and then the moment when Amy puts the crown on her head as a way to quickly and boldly come out to her mother in Faking It... those are SUCH great ways to match that "I gathered all the courage in the world" lyrics! Quentin just wanting Sara to be happy was SO perfectly placed too. ;) And so much else in your parts, really, truly. That final voiceover in the collab REALLY hit home, about an accepting family member you came out to telling you indeed you don't have to do it alone. Such a powerful choice. Amazing. Thank you.

Also, I'd seen Adam vidded on Degrassi before and that scene with the fire and burning the old photo(s) of him before his transition but I never realized his MOM was who was standing right next to him during it, that's so powerful to realize as someone who's never seen the show. I love that his parents being accepting were a part of his trans arc. Thank you for making me realize that!

@@VioletEmerald Thank you! I loved that Kurt part, and also felt like it fit the song perfectly. When Adam first told his parents they were not supportive. It took them awhile to finally realize that they loved him just the way he was. Drew (his brother) helped them realize it as well as Adam. There is a quote that Adam said to Eli and Claire (his friends) that "if I'm Gracie everything's easier, right?" I just loved the episode of them finally realizing that Adam is who he is :)

I know part 6 with all the lyrics about the friends rejecting the singer and the mother being there for him in the aftermath was really tricky, but I love SO much how you found things to make it work, especially the "now I have no friends" part, like I said "Yikes" - glad to learn the character's friends came around and he was overreacting a tad. I also REALLY loved the Liv moment and her being told "don't you dare let anyone feel like you have to change" during the "don't try to be what you're not" lyric. That was so good!

Amazing job everyone! I am not familiar with most fandoms here but it was so well put together and the voiceovers were perfect. Just a heads up, you put Marco from Degrassi in the description twice and then the character Fiona was listed again separately (Degrassi the next generation got renamed to just Degrassi in later seasons as the original cast moved on, but it’s the same show)

After I added the captions for the lyrics I realized just how perfect your use of Eric from Gossip Girl was for that line about needing to be saved. I thought about the context of that and another scene in another part more deeply and feel more and more impressed the more i rewatch and process! Thanks for being a part of this and thanks for offering to make the custom thumbnail tomorrow night. I fixed that mistake and confusion and multiple other repeats and mistakes and stuff in the description. I can't fix the typo in my LGBTQ+ in the end credits but other than that, it should all be pretty good now!

I also really loved how you found a perfect voiceover & scene for the "felt like i had to choose, but it was out of my control" lyric but that also it's kinda a really different interpretation of the line than it could've been.
