Nice series of games! About the fun and surprise compared to starcraft, let's think about sports: When people watch a soccer game, they don't expect to see secret players coming out from the bench, they watch the game hoping to see good plays that make your team score. I know this is not exactly like DotA, but it's pretty similar in a certain way. One wants to see nice moves and fights, also strategy, but it is only one of the things that make the game fun How about some MYM games now lumi? :P

I can agree that some games you can just tell when someone's going to win just based on picks, but like artstyle says any line up can beat any other lineup if played well enough. Though this isnt ENTIRELY true, not all dota can be decided at 5 mins in, however it depends on the strat. I think teams are going to switch into push on push, a more euro style, as it IS plain to see that these radience carries are losing. The only time games are decided straight out is when 1 team goes a flawed strat

Ty for the commentary, you should get a partnership with youtube, and start commentating like crota, 4 or 5 a day on a series, since DOTA 2 is coming out I'm sure it'll be a much more active scene and lots to do =).

i disagree with you saying they should've taken ES instead of VS, VS was a great pick and saved many lives early on. the bad pick was that clock. ES should've been taken in the 4th pick and then VS in the 5th. two reasons for this. if they replaced VS with ES, then they'd have 3 melee heroes, which isn't pretty for early laning. Also, if they took ES over Clock, then they could put Lich in the long-lane and deny brood exp and gold early, plus better def in the trilane with ES

@Devin1pm you read too much guides. if you watched one of lumi's previous commentaries that guides isnt the best way to learn. it limits peoples playstyle like you said about the double bracer and diffusal? Thats a way to play spectre but not the only way to play it. vanguard is mainly for the block along with the dispersion and bracers just gives regen and the same hp as vanguard. but people get vanguard for the block.

Hi luminous and ppl, I see a lot of spectre players go for vanguard first. As I read some guide, it says 2 bracers and a power thread should be enough and need to rush for disfulsal blade and manta. Vanguard blocks damage but ou want to Disperse the damage, not to block it..Vanguard or 2 bracers pluz powerthread? I think vanguard is a waste on spectre.

Hey luminous, on chess.com there is a very interesting thing. Every now and then some chess masters pick up the games from regular players and comment on them, propose possible strategies and show what mistakes did the player/players do. Don't you want to act like a "DotA GrandMaster"? :P It would be a nice rest from pro teams and a lot of fun. Best regards
