This is about two years too late, but if you're wondering about why "Perish, you shall" was deemed "unsafe", it's because the guests themselves only fly about 1/2 to 3/4 as far as the test dummies. The on-ride camera also follows the same trajectory as the test dummies, not the guests. So those guys who were stranded in the middle? Those were the actual guests. The peeps in the pool just walked over there. Also, fun fact: guests can "safely" land in the hot tub, not just the pool. :)

I just watched your review of Rollercoaster Tycoon, the original first game in the series, and you said that this one, RC3, takes all formula and elements from the first two games and drastically improves on it, making this game your absolute favourite. So I came here to see why you thought so, and straight off the bat, you say 0:23 that the first two are better overall. Did your opinion change?

I'm suspicioning they removed death in this one because..I never played scenarios in RCT2 much (and preferred just making rollercoasters, but I'm assuming they added children and game developers hate just letting you *kill* them, so now everyone's invincible! -God forbid you actually get to kill them in any game but Fallout 2...-

When I owned the game, I used to make really deep holes and drop people in >;3 You can kill people in Zoo Tycoon tho, which is basically Rollercoaster Tycoon...but animals *gasp*

It gives a message saying they are drowning, but it will stay that way until they swim ashore or you pluck them out of the water. Basically it irritates them, they never actually die and disappear like in previous RCT games. Same with any other action in-game... coaster wrecks, explosions, etc.

In previous RCT games, yes. In this one, no. If you crash a coaster or something, they'll fly all over the place but nobody actually "dies". They'll be aggravated and shocked, but they get right back up and walk around.

Although the track builder in this game is as pathetically limiting as in the first two games, and the career is practically just a piece of interactive scenery, it still was good enough for me to miss this game and play it again in 2017. And without this game coming back to my mind, I probably would've never heard of Planet Coaster... Thank you, Frontier and thank you, Frontier.

I loved this game. I remember building a replica of the Grand Canyon and making a roller coaster that catapulted straight into the middle of it. I had been trying to have it catapult into another disconnected part of the track and keep going, but I decided it was more fun to kill the little peepers.
