3:20 please explain cab locking again as I don't fully understand
@NationalDrivingCentre2 жыл бұрын
No problem it sounds a lot more complicated than it is but when you start the ignition the warning light for the cab locking mechanism will come on once you then start the vehicle that light will then go out. If the light doesn't come on there could be a fault and obviously if the light doesn't go out the cab is not securely locked. You can then visually check the locking mechanism which is normally around the front mudguard and it should be in the locked position there is normally a diagram around the mechanism to show you this. Hope this helps if you got any questions please give us a call.👍👍

@NationalDrivingCentre3 жыл бұрын
This is a very tricky question to answer this can come down to vehicle speed on approach, who is around you when it happens e.g. pedestrians. The load that you are carrying e.g. ADR, and weather conditions. As long as these points are fair then we would say no as the front of the vehicle passes the white line you are then committed to carry on because to stop now would cause you to stop on the pedestrian crossing, road crossing or junction or potentially a yellow box junction. 👍Hope this helps good luck and stay safe

Sorry not sure what you mean by 12 tyres. The categories in the UK comes down to vehicle weight and whether it's towing a trailer or not if you can give us a bit more information we will help you answer this question.👍
