Don't quote this audio if interviewed under caution following a collision. Straddle for all to stay safe by being aware, a straddling HGV is likely to take the available lanes when turning. Never ever say in interview, I'd don't care!

As a retired hgv driver ,I was taught this at junctions and roundabouts ,it’s called lane blocking to stop other drivers from coming along side of you and getting hit by the trailer when you turn

Totally right to close them off on your inside, I always do, the amount of times I've been cut up after I've done it as the car or van didn't like me doing it, they can be right oxygen thieves
