Currently no. But Li Auto do say it will in a future update. When exactly it we arrive we don’t know. But their first car the Li ONE had an English infotainment system

Nice overview Will! Massive fancy vehicle stuffed with all the latest functionalities - kinda impressive for that price tag!! I would love to find out about the fuel usage on a long distance trip: E only + fuel only / Hybrid mode. Charge Speed for the battery? How does it perform if the battery is completely empty? So many questions ;-)

I haven’t driven it. unfortunately we were scheduled to drive and shoot the Li L8 but covid stopped us.

I own a L9, I've picked it up on Sept15th, over 4000kms now, I can give you the figures on my L9. 7.2l/100kms on average... highway, about 8.3~ pure EV mode, I've done 202kms, on battery, but that almost leave me on the street... my daily commute is about 120kms roundtrip, it will still leave me almost 40% of soc, so, pretty solid. My goal was, Monday-Friday on battery, weekend on gas, it served me perfectly, so far...

We’ve driven the L9 a couple of times, and the engine and drive trains are exactly the same under the L8, but the acceleration has been reduced a bit, and the L8 is a little lighter. So whilst we have data on the L9’s fuel consumption we still waiting to see if the L8 will return even better usage. I suspect it will do marginally

@@tim-thechinesecarguy2078 hi Tim, I have ES8 (2019) and I was 100% sure that this year I'll get new ES8, they start delivery in June, but damn, L9 cought my eye. What is it like living with L9? any issues that the reviewers miss? I can write a book about all the things wrong with ES8 - noisy suspension, wind noise, loose windows, door handles that break every couple of months, some squicky plastic parts, chinglish system, etc... Also, did Li auto finally updated their system and can you change the system languege to English? Would really appreciate some info. Thanks :)

How would someone be able to purchase one of the L8 models and ship to the Caribbean region??

Have it bought in China, then shipped via an exporter. But there would be no 5G streaming since it wouldnt be able to find a Chinese cell service

​@ChinaDriven great breakdown of the different models in your video, very helpful indeed! Any dealers that could be suggested to work with? With the capability to export and fluent in English? Streaming not a major must have or the rear screen.. is the vehicle also in English?

Partial English. The UI can be switched to english, but apps and things are in Chinese. But these won’t work outside of china. A lot of things won’t work. and the voice assistant is chinese only

its a trade off. If you put the lidar in the bumper you won’t have a blind spot in front of the bonnet compared to the roof-mounted solution. But the roof-mounted lidar have a longer range.

haha. I assume there will be an English system eventually. there was an English UI in the Li ONE. but not the GPS will still be in Chinese.
