六渡寺の獅子舞 秋 2023 Lion dance of Rokudouji

#六渡寺獅子舞
富山県射水市（旧新湊）の庄川と小矢部川に囲まれた海に面した場所にある六渡寺。 年2回、5月14日と10月6日に六渡寺日枝神社の祭りとともに獅子舞が行われています。夜には新築や婚礼などの家に花がうたれ、夜７時頃から各花宿を周り、最後は六渡寺公民館前で舞います。
言い伝えでは300年程の歴史があるとされ、文献には安政3年(1856年)3月に加賀藩の前田のお殿様が、中納言の昇進のお祝いにと赤飯・昆布とスルメを六渡寺の住民に配布したお礼に、六渡寺の獅子舞が舞われたとの記述があります。
富山の最高峰の獅子舞の一つである六渡寺の獅子舞には、多くの見物客がやってきます。
Rokudouji located in Imizu-City, old name Shinminato, Toyama Prefecture, Japan.
This place is facing Toyama bay and sandwiched between the Sho River and the Oyabe River.
Rokudouji lion dance is performed twice a year on May 14 and October 6 with the festival of Rokudouji Hie Shrine. It is said that there is the history of approximately 300 years.
Lion dance of night is performed in front of house where built newly and one of family got married, etc. from about 7:00 p.m. to 22:00, and final dance is performed at Rokudouji community center.
Rokudouji lion dance is one of the representative famous Lion dance of Toyama, and attract many spectators.
