Li-Ion Battery Pack with In-Built Balance Charger

In this video, I will show you how easy it is to make a battery pack of Lithium Ion cells that does not require a balance charger to charge equally. It uses a typical TP4056 charger and a DPDT switch making it very economical.
Pardon me for any mistakes in the video, this is my first and definitely I'll get better.

I dont understand what you mean in the wiring diagram, it's eating my head that I can't get it. Can you post on a proper schematic by hand drawing or something on instructables.

Are you not introducing more points of failure? 3 single BMS plus 2 switches to do the job of one 3S BMS (12v) doesn't sound that efficient. What if the 2 switches were not turned on correctly while charging? Putting Woods (fire hazard) in between lithium batteries which get heated up easily is not a good idea.

1. Yes, it might not be that efficient, but it was economic for me not to buy a $50 balance charger, just for 6 cells, as I do not work too much with Li-Ion batteries. 2. If one of switch isn't flipped correctly and you try to charge it, nothing will happen as the circuit is not completed. 3. I understand it's risky to put wood piece in between, but I only did that because i didn't want to wait for battery holders to arrive. In fact, I also replaced the woods with battery holders, now that I have received it. I suggest everyone to do the same. I suggest not to try it if anyone doesn't have any experience with Li-Ion batteries, as they are dangerous. Thanks for watching the video and noticing and pointing out sources of failure.

yes u are right cant rely on this ckt and what when using 12.6v get below overdischarge per cell
