nv center is NOT the ONLY one does not require low temperature! Neutral atom arch does not require low temperature apparatus too. The issue of nv center approach is that its hard to do entangle operation between qubits.

Photonic quantum computing also doesn't require a low temperature environment. Photons do not suffer from decoherence due to thermal vibrations. But the drawback is that photonic platforms usually occupy too much space (lots of mirrors), and we currently don't have a good way to reliably introduce high nonlinear interaction between two photons (hence it's difficult to perform entangling gates, e.g., CNOT)
