Sorry they didn’t work out for your feet. The shoes are amazing for my foot type. Traction is top tier. Cuts and changing directions are easy especially when playing defense. The price isn’t justified but definitely an amazing performance shoe. Kobe 5 and 6 are more comfortable. Kobe’s fit like a glove.

I found that to resolve the issue with insoles being too grippy on your sock, find yourself a deodorant spray that contains some kind of powdered magnesium or aluminium and spray it into your shoe like you would with a shoe spray. The powder will lightly coat the surface of the foam and fill in the voids that would grip onto the fibres of your sock. I did this to my 808 4 ultras and it worked like a charm.

So, I’m 5’10 and a half w/o shoes. I double sock in all my hoop shoes, I wear the same size as him 10.5. I bought these and was super excited. When I first hooped in them, I expected more. The traction was almost so good I almost rolled my ankle. I hate insoles that grab my sock. And 1 major thing is my mind made me think I would roll my ankle. But after about the 3rd time I hooped in them I’m super happy I got them. Prolly my fav shoe now. Was the Kobe 5. Traction is super crazy. Fit is almost great, a little tight on the outside forefoot kind of where my ring toe is but that’s it. The fear of rolling my ankle has gone away. Love these now.

I bought the black pair off Poizon for a decent price but have yet to wear them. I did however remove the stock insoles and put in my Move All Day insoles. The Move insoles made the shoes and the upper more comfortable so I'm excited to paly in them for the first time tonight. Great review as always.

@@TommyLiu4 yeah, these destroyed my pinky toes last night. The inflare at the toe box I don’t think works for my feet while playing. Walking around feels fine, but once I start running, making cuts, change direction and come to sudden stops, my pinky toes and outside of my of my foot gets continually pushed in. After 10 minutes, I was feeling lots of pain and by the end of the first game, my toes had gone numb and I had general discomfort. I had to change my shoes after that. Too bad though, as I felt really nimble and explosive while wearing them. I don’t think this would be an issue that can be solved by trying to break in the shoe. It’s a shame though. Heard the Liren 4 V2 was like the baby version of the Gammas and more wide foot friendly in the toe box area.

Bummer that these weren’t what you were hoping for. I’ve been playing in mine for a bit and they’re one of my favorite shoes of the year. Definitely wasn’t in love with the price but got mine on Poizon for decent resell. Honestly, I like these more than the WOW 10 Lows (still trying to break those in but feel they’re more narrow and traction isn’t as good.) I’m a flat footer as well here but they don’t feel too narrow, they give me GT Cut 3 vibes and as a whole I might give these the edge (I feel these have better support, along with traction, and the cushion might be a tie, or slight edge to the Gamma.) I’m hoping the WOW 10 Lows break in better because I spent more on those than these, but if not it’s what it is. Overall, was thinking I’d enjoy the JB2s and WOW 10 Lows over these, but so far the Gammas are my favorite, and a possible shoe of the year for me. GCU is insane on these, shame Under Armour can’t make their Flow as durable like this. Lastly, I have the silver colorway haha and my stats are as followed: 6’0 (182 CM) 200 lbs (90 KG) Size 13 Play style is a big/wing, with some point forward here and there. Love playing defense, somewhat explosive, and tend to get stepped on often haha.

But I’m a big fan of Li-Ning and what they’ve done with their basketball line as a whole. They’ve taken off since they got their cushion much improved.

My ultralight 2025 are lighter and great performers, I had 2 pairs of gammas but always felt the heel was unstable, sold them the ultralight are amazing traction bites so hard even through some dust cushion amazing with super boom full length plastic shank etc I’ve tried literally about every elite Chinese shoe by now putting them through very hard training sessions with my players

@@ryanreviews8566traction is equal however dust doesn’t effect the ultralight near as much, cushion I would say is close, ultralight has a super soft foam carrier and full length super boom which is really bouncy, difference for me came with the stability since in the ultralight you sit within the carrier where as the gamma on top of the full length boom so sometimes I felt the heel was unstable (realistically was a non issue it was a sensation) lateral stability on both is great, lockdown both great slight heel slip at first in gamma but goes away when broken in, my recommendation is go for the ultralight dang near get 2 pairs for price of 1 gamma, only thing gamma has over ultra light is carbon shank rather than tpu but both are full length sensation feels the same

also, lining sizing is off by half size. im not 100% sure why but when I check the sizing, the "us" size 10 for example is somehow EU43.5 and their 10.5 is EU44. When in most brands like nike, eu44 is ALWAYS a us10 so keep that in mind with Lining guys.

I'm pissed off bro, I'm normally a size 10.5 US in Nike hoop shoes but I followed Li-Ning's size chart by foot length in CM to try to be as accurate as possible, and it said I should get a 10 US (which I did). They delivered the other day but they're tight man.. It pretty much fits like a sock but they're narrow and my toes have no wiggle room from side to side in there

All opposite for me, I love my gammas (rayburst colorway). No pinching, the insole is the best, your feet doesn't slip. Fit like a glove. For the price? If you're willing to buy an over hyped kobe shoe, then I would just buy this instead.

Yeah, these are actually garbage. There’s a point where you can’t make the shoes too light, and these are the perfect example. I was literally sliding out on a dusty court through these, barely bit through it. No refund return and I’m now 300 bucks in the hole tryna get rid of them. This shoe is a massive gamble and I’m advising anyone who wants to shoe to please do your research, great video.
