Yup. Slip resistant lol. In Asia (I'm in Japan), the humidity is insane and even near Tokyo, most gyms are NOT air conditioned so the humidity gets on the floor and if you're unlucky it can and will turn into a skating rink 😂😂😂

I remember buying the 1st official WOW shoe which is more than double the price of the Street version of WOW. It has great traction and build quality of an old school Jordan shoe but when I tried my friends Street version it's way more comfortable to wear especially when playing basketball. The Official WOW version feels like a lifestyle shoe (more focused on looks) than the Street version when it comes to comfort.

When the WOW 2's came out I was super hopeful that Nike/Jordan would be shamed into improving the quality of the leather they used on their "premium" products. I daydreamed about how awesome it would be to have a Jordan 3 or 4 with that thick buttery soft leather that Li Ning used. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Thankfully I bought multiple pairs of the WOW 2's and 2.5's

​@@MidNightBuoy I don't own this particular model (yet) but I do own multiple Way of Wade 2's, 2.5's, 4's, and 6's. The quality matches and even exceeds those other brands aside from maybe New Balance's top tier stuff. I've always been impressed with the Way of Wade products I've received. I've owned 1 pair of non Way of Wade shoes from Li Ning (The YU Shuai ⅩⅢ Low) and it wasn't premium but the quality was still pretty good.

@@MidNightBuoy I haven't tried those models yet. Of the one's I've tried the Wade 4's were the most comfortable casually. I would watch Chris's (AKA Nightwing) reviews on those models. He's usually very good commenting on comfort and cushion for both performance AND casual wear. I would go to the Weartesters KZbin page and search their videos for those Li Ning models for in depth info

I got the Blossom colorway but returned because I needed to go half a size up. The cushion on these are mad bouncy! Fingers crossed the TNS on the way half a size up feels better

Those shoes look DOPE AS HELL!!!!!! Dayum!! I’m loving the carbon fiber plate and really curios about the non slip outsole. I used to play outdoors when i was young and in light raisin or after a downpour where there were puddles of water on the court….could’ve used something like that then. Also curious about the stability espocially if the cushioning is that bouncy. Either way….congrats to Way of WADE and Li-Ning for 10 years! 🔥🙌🏽🏀

I loved the Way Of Wade 1-3 (and all the Encores, .5s, lows, etc etc etc). That era of Li-Ning Way Of Wade had amazing leather, amazing build quality and even the box & bag they came w/ was nice. ...but they stopped all that & leaned heavy into tech/performance. They lost me w/ that, but I totally understand why it happened. The shoes are supposed to be a top-tier on court basketball sneaker and I'm worried about how they look w/ some sweatpants. I'm sure the tech is amazing, because back when they were focusing on materials & build quality the line was amazing. I don' think Li-Ning "cheaps out" on their signature line product.
