Such a pity that time takes these legends from us.

I am from Prince Edward Island!! We were great fans of these two!!! My daughter went to Charlottetown to see Tommy with her six year old daughter the y went back stage to get his autograph. They didn't get but made for a great memory and a laugh!!

I have very fond memories of Tommy Tommy Macon and Liam Clancy performing in Toronto Canada during the 70s and 80s. The Irish music was amazing during this time thanks

They don’t make men like these anymore. Listening is a bittersweet experience.

Growing up in Maine with Irish ancestry. I have gotten into Makem and Clancy a bit lately, but had no idea of the Garden Song - my first thought was ‘that’s really catchy’. I almost fell out of my chair when I learned that it was written by Mainer David Mallett (whom I was aware of but not super familiar with), as was the second song played here. What an awesome goodbye performance, as it were - and Mr. Byrne was an awesome host.

I was fortunate enough to see these gentlemen perform at NTIF around this time.

When I first visited my mum's, Pomeroy, CoTyrone, childhood home in 1964, we had literally 100s of relatives to visit. In every home, there was a picture of President Kennedy, an accordion, a Jim Reeves lp and several Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem lps.

Lovely. You can actually hear an extra instrument playing on the first tune - maybe a mandolin.

I think I like Liam and Tommy more as a duo than the four lads together. Right characters they were as well as fine musicians.
