Thank the heavens for Liam Gallagher. I would not be the person I am today, had I not chanced upon hearing his incomparable voice one day in mid 1994. I was trying to come into the world in Syria, with no freedom to be my own person, or to ever express myself. Liam's voice, carrying the tunes of that other genius, Noel, lifted me from the squalor and decrepitude of that place and moment in time. Liam transported me to a better place, made me believe that there was a world out there for me. For this, and all the sheer beauty and positive energy he spreads, he will always be my hero. Always. Thank the heavens for Liam Gallagher. This world would not be liveable without you.

My God Yiu just put into words the inspiration I felt at 16 when I first heard Columbia on the radio in 94 and saw them live this world would be awful without Liam, this world changed forever when McGee signed Oasis, they gave me the inspiration to become a songwriter, like one songwriter at the time said to me, "I can't teach you how to play guitar & piano but I can give you the hunger for it" and I spent hours & hours teaching myself & couldn't believe it when I could play Live Forever for first time on guitar, they changed my teens from normal to historic, we kinda knew we were in bit if history as everyone would go mental, singing top if voices when Oasis or Manics would come on club Jukebox, every song just got better & better every band, every album, Cast, Radiohead, The Stone Roses, The Seahorses, Kula Shaker, Suede, Ocean Colour Scene, Brand New Heavies, Stereophonics, Travis, Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers who are astounding at moment, The Lighthouse Family a band from where I'm from, The Verve, The Charlatans, yes Blur, I started loving Blur around 98 - 99 I'd always heard them but my band was Oasis, I'v seen Oasis 9 times now no shit, Once for my wife as it was her dream shed never seen them so took her in 2003, then a mate, went to Edinburgh to see them, IV seen them at Glastonbury, V Festival 98, Knebworth changed me forever, I wouldn't be the songwriter I am today if not for Knebworth and first time they came to Newcastle in 94, we had so many great bands these singers female singers like Mariah Carey & Adele, they were trained pitch perfect but sounded like they are screaming & shouting, that's all we've had for last 30 yrs is females either covering & killing 90's covers, or screaming & shouting to songs that did absolutely nothing for me, even dance has gone right downhill then Liam comes along with this flawless, chilling haunting song I thought nothing could beat John's Imagine yet Liam has done it flawlessly, I can't stop listening to this as his voice is the best it's been since 95-98 it takes me right back to greatest years of my life with wild parties & everyone singing at top of their voices when Oasis or Manics would come on jukebox in club, I was 16 when first heard Columbia on radio after work ran home after buying album screamed at mother this band You got to hear them they could be even better than the Beatles I said and my mother absolutely adores them now thought they were just noise when I first played the album and I was right, greatest band since Beatles, even my father who loves his 50's singers like gene Pitney, loves Oasis thinks he's one of the greatest singers in history, Liam Inspires you to be your best, he does something, I have to admit I was bigger fan of Noel back in 90's as he was genius behind their songs and I respected loved & worshipped songwriters and Liam has created the greatest song with this since 60's & 70's, nothing, absolutely nothing in past 30 yrs comes close to this, I don't know how he's done it how he can sing like that taking me back to my youth, I think everyone on here knows genius when they hear it, know intimate, pure, raw British talent, they know true rock, true soul, they know a real Legend, we'll be talking about Oasis & Liam a thousand years from now, studying them, Liam has s magic I'm trying to put into words but failing epicly at lol, he sends shivers down your spine, how on earth he has wrote a song like this shows you real one off talent that no one compares to, it's one thing writing a great song which hasn't been done since 2000 it's another thing to inspire you, lift You up, touch your actual soul, we have a lot to thank Liam & Noel for, this world would have been another copy of miserable, dark, dull, aching 80's if not for Oasis, they changed culture, gave us colour, fashion, they changed the world, I don't know how to thank Liam enough for what he has done for history & this world it's as though every word he sings is important & precious to him and you feel it, he led the way for all the epic 90's rock bands that came but we're destroyed, music died the day X Factor & Britney spears came out, indie, rock, Alt Rock, Prog rock all died day X Factor came so to have this in worst year of my life when I spent 2 month in hospital hallucinating and body shutting down not Covid, something else is a miracle, the world needs this song, the world needs Liam, thank you Liam for amazing memories I just can't forget like hearing don't look back in Anger for first time before it was single for champagne supernova which I didn't like at first as thought it was too slow for Oasis yet turned out to be one of my favourite songs of all time for first time hearing Columbia & Live Forever, Supersonic, Cigarettes and alcohol, those memories are precious if I'd known just how historical those times really were I wouldn't have changed a thing besides taking it all in a bit more, slowing down and taking it all in, days with no worries or stress, days when all I had at end of week was either enough to go out to clubs or to buy next album most time it was album & you couldn't pick one as every album was epic every single was epic, thank you for the festival's Liam thank you for your genius thank you for showing the world your genius thank you for turning dark miserable 80's that felt like 10 yrs of winter into over 10 years of confidence, inspiration colours, felt like summer all year for 10 years all because of OASIS, you'll never know what you meant to me how you changed a shy lad into a confident outgoing poet & Songwriter, thank you for reaching me music through tablature books of definitely Maybe, What's The Story, Be Here Now, Standing on shoulder of giants, familiar to millions, Heathen Chemistry, you changed people's lives we were the kids of the 60's generation & we showed it with music that can't be touched your bigger than a Legend thank you

Paint the night sky While the morning waits With a field of stars To keep the dark at bay Take your spotlight Underneath the moon Sometimes a miracle Is all that can carry you Oh what, are you dreaming of? Is it the kind of love That'll be there when the world is at its worst? That'll cover you in kisses unrehearsed When you're losing ground, still tell you that you're worth All you're dreaming of Should the pain birds Come and rest their wings Upon your windowsill Without a song to sing Close your eyes and Disappear inside All that is beautiful Was following behind Oh what, are you dreaming of? Is it the kind of love That'll be there when the world is at its worst? That'll cover you in kisses unrehearsed When you're losing ground, still tell you that you're worth All you're dreaming of (All you're dreaming of) All you're dreaming of (All you're dreaming of) All you're dreaming of (All you're dreaming of) Oh what, are you dreaming of? Is it the kind of love That'll be there when the world is at its worst? That'll cover you in kisses unrehearsed When you're losing ground, still tell you that you're worth All you're dreaming of
