I'm not even a fan but I'm heartbroken over how he was treated. Depression is an illness and should be treated as such. But everyone was treating him like some douche bag, attention seeker. He was stopped from getting out his music and had people making fun of him for literally portraying behavior that showed he needed help.

His ex-girlfriend shouldn't have exposed their past relationship. She did it on purpose and it's her fault... She knew his behavior and knew he wasn't well. There's no excuse for someone who wants to make money selling books by badmouthing someone else... and she used him to become popular. Disgusting!

Who could have endured all these setbacks, the public humiliation online, in the media, the pressure of his ex suing him, the pain of not existing anymore as an artist while his 'brothers' are still successful, the terrible news of his label letting him down on top of that, and so on and so on...nobody could have remained composed/in good health, I think we would have all exploded, it's way too much pressure for a human being... Though, one of Liam's biggest mistakes, actually the biggest one, was to think that drugs would help him go through it all. Once he started taking this so addictive and destructive sh....., it was all over. I do think that unfortunately, if this tragedy hadn't happened in Buenos Aires, Liam's days would have probably come to an end in the next few months elsewhere, he was in a dead end because of drugs, his mental health was a wreck. This is a terrible tragedy, we all feel so sad and sorry for this talented and handsome young man, but despite appearences, Liam probably wasn't made for this show business life, he was too fragile mentally. His life was way too short, but let's comfort ourselves by saying that he lived it fully in the way that it was literally an extraordinary life, he had the chance to live a unique experience with 1D, an incredible journey that very few on this planet have the chance to live... We won't forget him, never. May this kind Liam rest in eternal peace. All my thoughts to his poor parents/sisters/son, lots of courage/force to them...🕯❤🩹🕊

It's a really beautiful tribute.. I have to agree. He seemed too fragile for showbiz. He looks like he came from a very loving, close-knit family who supported all his dreams, and he was the golden boy in it. Also, it probably didn't help that he started out in first place at a super young age,they really were kids when they started. By 22, it was all over, and yet he was finally an adult with his whole life before him. He had little success, and a lot of hate, in the only life he had ever known. Seems he was the most honest out of all of them, but it did him no favours in the media. He seemed a gentle and truthful soul, and I did not understand the hate he's got most of his career

We don't know if no one is to blame. Regarding the "accident", there are a lot of things that don't make sense. Witnesses are also giving contradictory statements, same with the hotel staff. We don't know yet. And regarding how Cowell managed them... catastrophic. He should have been a second father to them, treated them like actual sons. They should have gotten mandatory psychological therapy during their time in the band to help them cope, and should have had better time management after concerts. How are you gonna keep teenagers locked inside a room full of alcohol? They should have planned healthy activities for them. You can't use them and then forget them. They are human. They are someone's precious child. Also his ex gf is so narcissistic. There were many factors that contributed to his death. We love to put all blame on a single person because " they are adults " but we forget that it takes a village to raise a child and this child was failed by his family, by his friends, by his mentor, by society and ex partners. We need to have more empathy for one another, we need to care for those suffering.

They kept offering him the drugs and he kept rejecting them but they wanted to make good money so he was being accosted. It's absolutely evil to do something like that to someone who has addiction issues and was all alone while battling with so many emotional situations around him. Addiction is an illness. But being evil is worse than addiction. He wasn't human to them but simply a sack of money.

And I believe was going to get to that eventually, but there are things bts that we don’t know. Sometimes people just lose it & start spiraling. Unfortunately his ended in tragedy. My brother was an addict since he was a teen. We always offered help but he would choose money for drugs instead food bc we couldn’t afford to supply both. He was homeless for 14 years, he eventually hit rock bottom and overdosed, he was on a ventilator with no identification so we had no idea for 24 hrs. Luckily he’s been clean for about 2 years. He couldn’t live like that anymore, and begged to be brought to a rehab facility. Addiction is a terrible disease of the soul that destroys a person from the inside. Personality disorders appear. Liam fought all of this until the end. wow man this is intense. As someone who's been severely depressed (diagnosed with MDD) and on the edge a few times in my worst months, I can strongly relate to that feeling of spiralling. One bad decision leads to consequences leads to self loathing leads to more bad decisions until you hate yourself so intensely you just no longer want to exist. Watching this video almost made me feel that feeling again. Mental health is a bitch man. I got off SSRIs more than 2 years ago, I actually weened off them myself with no supervision and without telling anyone. I made the decision to get better one day. I'm not trying to paint depression as a choice. More like: you have to be really deeply CONVINCED that you want to get better. If anyone reading this is struggling with a depressed family member or partner: nothing you do or say will make them better. it has to come from within. THEY have to make that decision on their own. The number one thing is they're constantly reminded that they're loved and appreciated AND that they go to therapy. that is absolutely crucial. Therapy was game changing for me. Sorry for the rant just felt like I could relate incredibly hard man. Much love to everyone!

Touring as an artist in music, dance or theatre is a lonely gig. You are at rehearsals all day. Then you go back to your hotel room alone to continue your rehearsals. Eat, try to sleep, but your mind is constantly ticking. Then repeat for weeks and weeks till opening night. You are surrounded by your cast or band the entire time during this period. Then the curtains go up and your performing every night and then going back to a hotel room alone. Nothing glamorous about it. You give your entire heart, mind, body and soul for your audience. It's a long, arduous hard slog being a performer in any genre of performing arts. When you do have a day off. Your completely knackered and stay locked up in your hotel room to recoup till the next show. Even if your in a place where you have friends or family. She wouldn’t have some symphony not to go hard on him knowing, he had health problems and he was in a bad state before his timely death. But I nothing but fame and fortune making money out of him, why else would she posted everything on the Internet for the world to see. And some of her claim doesn’t make sense, like he was calling her multiple times for help. Then hit him with a some sort of straining order for him to stop calling her, or take his suicide attempt as a manipulation and still continue to say a lot of unnecessary things. As far as her story about me being the bad person and abuser in their relationship , it’s just for words and she had never shown any proof had or nor changed him with the claim. Liam’s music wasn’t terrible but his music was the only one that lacked authenticity. Most of the songs on LP1 were written by other people. When he was asked if he was planning to perform in smaller venues, he was so dead set on playing in arenas. I wish the guy didn’t take life so seriously and just took the time and learned to write for himself, cause Lord knows he has an amazing and impressive voice. With the life he lived and the experiences he had, if he was just honest, honed his craft, and didn’t think about topping the charts, he could’ve very well made some impressive songs.

Addiction, especially at such an advance and destructive stage, usually leads to untimely death. And nobody can make you stop taking drugs until you decide that you really want to do that yourself and that you are willing to do EVERYTHING it takes to start recovery. People here keep blaming everybody they can think of and paint a picture of a completely powerless, kindest boy that nobody around wanted to help and this shows that so many people still don't really know how addiction works. I've been dealing with this topic for over a decade and Liam had never really started recovering, he only had very short episodes of abstinence (3 months is nothing!). I'm not blaming him either because addiction is a horrible illness that nobody wants and only a small percentage of addicts stop. But it changes people for the worse as long as they're using and pretending that everything is fine and shielding them from consequences is not helping. Also, Liam decided to be in the media after 1D and even seemed to struggle with becoming less popular so blaming people for commenting on his life, when he chose to live in public, is just ridiculous. I'm sorry he passed away but the blaming is very frustrating!

HE said he was a people pleaser, and as you said all this time he was being guided, not by people who had anything to do with his well being as a person but rather of him as a moneymaker, he rationalized that as long as he was successful he would be happy then came the vicious cycle of using substances to cope with work and failing work because of said substances. The women he had relationships with didn't help either he threw himself onto people that didn't match his needs and lashed out when someone tried to tone him down because that reminded him of the harsh environment of top level security. I do hope he is in a better place, and that we can look into this industry with more seriousness. RIP LIam Payne.

He needed time for himself, not fame, after 1D dissolved. Not women, luxury items and lifestyle. Just stopping and breathing, and lots of resting. Reinventing a life, making better music without record labels. Hip hop was not who he really was. He died not accepting the real Liam within. Ps I liked him better without the jaw operation. This is such a respectful way of presenting his final days. Initially, I thought this might be someone wanting to make money out of his passing but I'm glad I changed my mind. It make sense, with all the stuffs he's been going through, it's like a punch in the gut one after the other - any human would be really on the verge of thinking unimaginable things. Also, may I add there were also people talking that he was actually waiting for his visa to be renewed? What I mean to say, these things happening and on top of the thought that he might not be able to enter US again with his visa will mean he will not be able to do music or huge changes abound that he is not ready for it to happen just yet. In his head, the world hated him, there are punches everywhere thrown at him, struggle after struggle and if the life he had before he went to rehab was rock bottom, maybe this one is on another level. And to him just felt like he is the only failure among the band. Just thinking about it that these thoughts could have possibly be on his mind before he passed, is just heartbreaking. This is a gentle reminder that celebrities no matter the status they get to have or hold, they are just humans like us and they feel things too, they go through stuffs too. Sometimes, they are the ones who are really fragile and can't handle things easily. We should try to choose kindness over hate. I hope Liam find his eternal peace, he is free from pains. I'd like to believe that he sees the world through the other side right now and knew that a lot of people grieving when he passed. My heart and prayers goes to his family, son, friends, fans and all that loved him. Navigating life without him will never be the same. He is forever in my heart, he is part of my younger years. Liam Payne's Tragic Journey: Fame, Demons, and the Toll of Pressure Reflecting on Liam Payne's final year, it's heartbreaking to see how a series of unfortunate events and relentless pressures led to such a tragic end. The video by tribunne paints a vivid picture of a young man who, despite his fame and success, struggled immensely with personal demons and external pressures. Liam's journey through health crises, career setbacks, and tumultuous relationships highlights the often unseen toll that fame can take on an individual. The constant scrutiny and public ridicule he faced would be overwhelming for anyone, let alone someone already battling mental health issues. It's a stark reminder of the human side of celebrities, who, despite their public personas, are vulnerable and fragile. One of the most poignant aspects of Liam's story is his turn to drugs as a means of escape. This decision, while understandable given his circumstances, ultimately led to his downfall. It's a tragic example of how substance abuse can spiral out of control, exacerbating existing issues and leading to devastating consequences. The incident in Buenos Aires seems to have been a critical turning point. It's painful to think that if things had gone differently, Liam might have found a way to turn his life around. Instead, he found himself at a dead end, with his mental health deteriorating rapidly. Despite the tragedy, it's important to remember the joy and inspiration Liam brought to millions of fans around the world. His time with One Direction was a period of extraordinary success and happiness, both for him and for those who followed his career. While his life was cut short, he left behind a legacy that will not be forgotten. My heart goes out to Liam's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. They deserve all the support and compassion we can offer. May Liam rest in peace, and may his story serve as a reminder of the importance of mental health and the need for compassion in the face of public scrutiny. 🕯❤️🕊 PS: The video’s conclusion is spot on. Regardless of the circumstances, this is a tragedy that affects everyone involved.

He was undoubtedly feeling immense pressure to keep up a successful career like his former bandmates. It's too bad someone couldn't have gotten him back to rehab because that's what he needed. His son should have been his priority but his mind was too clouded by the industry and success. It's a shame no one could see he was sad and broken and unhealthy. He had enough money to take care of himself but unfortunately, addiction and mental illness issues weren't letting him think rationally. Sadly, he was all alone in this. Rest in peace, Liam.

teardrops is a truly amazing song and it's a crime that it wasn't more successful.

he was a sweetheart that didn't get the recognition he deserved. I always thought he was the cutest truthfully. Inside and out, he had a good heart. as the saying goes " only the good die young" 🥺

He was intoxicated 100% because he had to go through examination for his renewal of his US visa... But who the f*ck supplied him drugs in hotel...Somebody had taken advatage of him for his substantial issues..and couldn't they lock the balcony somehow or place something beneath the balcony..... 💔

The hotel should investigate if their employees are being suspected of supplying him with drugs. This could be manslaughter.

His parents should pursue this because they know their son had done rehab and been sober.

He passed his visa renewal. He was clean. The results came back on the Tuesday, day before his death.

It is really pathetic that a full-grown adult isn't allowed to voice an honest personal opinion. There is no need to apologize, Liam. Your honesty is appreciated

He lost so much weight…he looked unwell for awhile, clearly drugs were affecting him…..so sad
@KP1956-o7rАй бұрын
Sadly he turned to drugs as a means to cope when he felt he was no longer popular or relevant. Every Celebrity's nightmare. The constant media back lash and him being dropped by the music label perhaps justified those very fears, pushing him over the edge mentally and sadly, quite literally. Shouting "I am Liam!!" before being escorted to his room is very telling. It weighed greatly on him to think he was no longer the flavour of the month, his pop stardom days over. Such are the pressures of fame.

It is known that Liam was in the lobby of the hotel acting erratically and in an uncontrollable combative drug and alcohol induced state, in which hotel staff had to physically take him to his room, right? The autopsy also revealed that he was unconscious when his body impacted the ground where he landed. That he died instantly due to multiple craniel fractures and internal and external bleeding from the impact, and that due to his state of unconsciousness, there aren't any defensive injuries present, like there normally would be in a state of consciousness. So if he was unconscious when he hit the floor, doesn't that mean he was unconscious when his body went over the balcony? Well there you go, he can't jump a balcony or fall off of a balcony if he is already unconscious. So that leaves me with only one possibility..... and that is that he was probably combative with the hotel staff that took him back to his room, there was a scuffle of some kind, his head was impacted with an object that made him unconscious, the guy or guys panicked and threw him over the balcony, and nonchalantly went back to the lobby and pretended like nothing had happened and then proceeded to call 911 and started the cover up by asking for an ambulance because they were very concerned about his mental state and safety, in particular about his room having a balcony and him going over it. They did'nt ask for police, they asked for an ambulance, because they knew he was already hurt and likely dead!!!!

That is a pretty wild theory. Apparently he was convulsing in the lobby a little earlier. Maybe he was on the balcony and had a seizure and fell over the side?
@jazz-kat842 ай бұрын
Yeah the falling or jumping off the balcony yet him being unconscious before landing makes no sense. There is definitely more to it!! Very suspicious circumstances thats for sure!
@elizabethprovencio58712 ай бұрын
What I don't understand is that if Liam was having a seizure IN the lobby, THAT IS WHEN EMS should have been called!!! Taking him to his room Was NOT the solution. Seizures ARE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY!!!!!!! Perhaps if the hotel staff were up on their CPR skills - or just basic Common Sense skills to observe Liam in distress, his life likely would have been saved that day!!!!!🤔🤷♀️

Well... let's think like this, what if he survives!? Didn't that become another reason to get a backlash from the people when they found out what happened at the hotel? This will become another hot topic of discussion. Another downfall for him. I can't even imagine how badly it could end. So I think God saved him from suffering anymore....💔

I’m starting to look at it that way too. If he lived. It would send his mental state to overdrive because they will Carry on from where they left off bullying him. Sadly

This video addresses a sensitive case, emphasizing the importance of not blaming individuals, especially those who were part of the person's life. It is understandable that fans seek to find someone responsible, but it is crucial to recognize that everyone faces internal struggles, and some people turn to drugs or alcohol as a way to cope with pain. Although the young man achieved fame, money, and access to a privileged lifestyle, he struggled to deal with the frustrations that arose after his band's breakup. Despite having everything, he faced difficulties in relationships and in understanding himself. I believe there are no culprits; we are responsible for our choices, even in the face of immense challenges. The tragedy that occurred could have been avoided, but it was his mental state and substance abuse that culminated in this situation. Dealing with someone facing these issues is not easy. While he received emotional and financial support, this often facilitates a life without purpose. The young man needed more caution and learning about the consequences of his actions. His inability to cope with frustrations was one of the greatest obstacles he faced.
