I knew Albert back in 1989/90 when his then Missus ran a pub, the Horn of Plenty, a stones throw from Mile End Underground station. And then later when they took over The Merry Fiddlers out in Dagenham, Essex. I just worked the bar. He was a quiet sort, never drank alcohol (took speed though) and always pleasant enough. You'd never guess his reputation by looking at him. I dont hink he mellowed, I think he just got older and wiser. RIP Albert.

What Albert left out is the sale of products that went on in his stay in prison it was to do with most of the troubles he had looking after barons and one himself

So was it Billy Griffiths or Billy Grimwood?? I’m confused.

I wouldn't worry, I think he's somewhat more confused than you are. Almost all of its flawed memory or made up anyway. The good old days. Yeah yeah.

Imagine Albert being around Sykes back in the 70s 80s. Good job Albert was London and Sykes was Yorkshire and they never met.
@Alex214412 жыл бұрын
If Albert was under pressure, from what people have said, he would do whatever he needed to do. So maybe Sykes would have put it on Albert and Albert realised he was losing, he may then pick up the nearest thing to him and put it into Sykes neck. There are good fighters and then you have ruthless geezers who will do anything to win.
