Owning a big AI company myself, I think the purpose should not be to get rich, but to make a positive impact on society. That does mean positive cashflow. If the focus is to get rich quick, that will always come at a price for your clients, not building a sustainable business.

Let's also be clear here. While all this doom and gloom is possible, there are also three other industries that AI will have less impact on: health (the human component), security, and trades. AI isn't going to be changing your toilet anytime soon. So, if you have an aptitude for hands-on work, that will still be valuable.
