Jim Carrey used to write Tupac letters when he was in prison. Not the friendship you would expect, right? Some trivia if you didn't already know. Love your channel guys, been watching several videos tonight. "One unlikely person who supported him was Carrey, who allegedly reached out to Tupac while he was inside on multiple occasions. During this isolating time, he became a close confidante, and the two grew close. The letters were humorous and intended to offer the rapper a slice of light relief while he was locked up. Unfortunately, Carrey has repeatedly refused to share these documents that he sent to Shakur, and it remains a mystery what precisely he said."

@@BossMovieReactions Honestly I know almost less than nothing about amateur or professional editing or film making. At the ripe old age of 49 I have consumed so many tv series & movies (good & bad) of all types of genres over my lifetime thus far as well as watching many reaction videos that I have developed an eye for seamless editing & have also watched some livestreams where live editing is done which seems painstaking which I appreciate the skill & dedication to do so. I already know the dialogue & or scenes that most would have a reaction to though am also acutely aware of the dreaded youtube copyright rules that most if not all reaction channels are plagued by. None the less, there are standout editors that have a flow to their reactions which you have which to me makes your channel a standout combined with the genuine reactions & chemistry as I previously stated. Overall it's clear to me that once more eyes view your excellent content, the growth of your channel is on a positive trajectory & will be glad to be a part of the community as it grows to easily be in the top tier of reaction channels. @BossMovieReactions7 ай бұрын
Good question... Many reasons... First of all, we're filmmakers ourselves, so we like the subject. I also realized how many movies I missed in the 90s because I worked so damn hard when I came to this country. Didn't speak English, had three jobs, worked 6-7 days a week, no TV, no money, no streaming service etc. Then, a few months ago, I came across "Popcorn in Bed" which is probably the best reaction channel on KZbin. I assume they have a lot of "behind-the-scene" help because everything is very professional. We do everything ourselves and we can hardly keep up... But we LOVE it and we LOVE our audience. Our Patreon page is also something we'll keep in mind for the distant future. I think we'll do another reaction in a few hours, "Happy Gilmore" or something. Anyway, stay tuned. Thanks for watching! I know in the movie, he can't find a good cause for a continuance. Set up for the trial and that was part of the comedy. Had he thought about it...he did have a logical and good cause for one. He had only been assigned the case in the last 48 hours. Not enough time to fully prepare his case, and he could have asked for a week to get fully prepared. Aside from this it is a very funny movie and Jim Carrey is and always has been a walking cartoon character. I would love to suggest more of his films to check out as I am not sure what you have seen of his or have not seen. (First time coming to your channel). 1. Once Bitten (w/ Clevon Little and Lauren Hutton) 2. Earth Girls Are Easy (w/ Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans and Geena Davis) 3. The Truman Show 4. The Majestic 5. Dumb & Dumber 6. Bruce Almighty 7. Yes Man 8. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 9. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective 10. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls 11. Fun with Dick and Jane Yes, he has done many more. I just have personal reasons I won't put on here for not suggesting them. (I don't even watch reactions to some of them). But it does give a wide variety of his films and maybe, just maybe...you will find a few that you love. Especially if you haven't seen it.

@@BossMovieReactions I hope you also do Once Bitten and Earth Girls Are Easy. They were his first 2 films. His role in Earth Girls got him hired for In Living Color (1990-1994) and that is how he really got huge, and surprised everyone with Ace Ventura, most critics at the time hated it and thought it would bomb. It was one of the biggest comedies of the decade and most critics changed their minds about the film.

An example of what I love in this movie was the scene where Ken or whatever his name was said, "So I just gotta lie. That's easy enough." And Jim Carrey screams "Is it?" in his face, because you could see Jennifer Tilly's shoulder just in the shot and she flinched, even though that was undoubtedly a rehearsed line. I loved my step dad for always being there but he couldn't replace my dad in my heart. I just noticed that scene when he goes to the bathroom he was drinking a lot of water so that he can go to the bathroom so that he couldn’t lie about it

Good observation, that is something I hadn't noticed before. Something I did catch though, is that when he said to his secretary that he didn't understand the question, he was lying.
@isaacmontoya9636Ай бұрын
@@imnotabotrlyimnot good point, I think it’s because since he’s a lawyer by instinct he’s more focused on winning for his client and he’s always won, but genuinely maybe he didn’t understand the question because justice is a word he naturally has no concern for, winning is the focus for him

Great reaction guys! And man...get your baby a cozy chair too!
@BossMovieReactions8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching, Cinemeleon. And yes, my wife wanted a "Movie Recliner Chair with massage feature", but it would never fit into the small office space. So she decided to get one of those "Blow-up Yoga Ball" chairs. She loves it for work, you know, sitting on her desk, but she's thinking about getting something else for the movie reactions, and I'd buy it. Thanks for looking out for her, I'll let her know! LOL

I saw this in theater. During the part where Jim is roasting the partners, the whole theater was roaring with laughter just like they were. After Jim fainted, you could hear everyone trying to breathe. Peak Jim right here.

The silly part is Fletcher used Samantha's age to get out of the prenup, but it would have annulled her marriage completely.
@BossMovieReactions8 ай бұрын
I think Fletcher implied that a minor can't enter into ANY legal contract, which would include the marriage AND therefore the prenup. Anyway, GREAT movie! Thanks for watching! (:
@diarrheagondola8 ай бұрын
@@BossMovieReactions He didn't, though. Samantha got half her husband's assets, which she wouldn't be entitled to if the marriage was invalid.

Legal Eagle had a great analysis. You also can’t benefit from a contract you entered fraudulently. You can enter into a contract before 18 but once you reach 18 you can decide if you want to stay in the contract or not. The simple answer is: it’s not simple. The ending of the movie would be the start of long legal proceedings
