With all of this, it amazes me that Jason (who apparently told Sonny that he couldn’t forgive Sam) from what she did to Rick, he was able to get past what she did to a child and marry her and even now, is back with her. Really? This is why I will never be a Jasam fan ever again. It’s one thing to forgive and adult for mistakes that they’ve done in adult relationships, but potentially putting a child in danger is not something that should be easily forgiven. Elizabeth has never done that, but Sam and Carly have.

Elizabeth hid and save Jason's life when he was shot and she knew the dangers and lied to keep him safe. She was shot due to Zander & Jason fighting over a gun, She was locked in a crypt b/c of Sonny & Jason's life b/c people knew Liz was important to him. When Jason was fighting to break into the crypt Sonny asked Jason, if Elizabeth means that much to him, and Jason replied, yeah, I guess she does. She was saved from a bomb, she risked getting info to Sonny/Jason b/c she overheard Alcazar talking about a mob war, even though she was told it was not safe to come to them,. She risked a lot over the years and still protected Jason.

He is his father now, but not without blackmail, threatening to kill AJ, trying to drown him in alcohol. It's like the long overdue apology Jason gave to Robin about Michael, who's to say if Michael's life would have been better, but he wasn't given the chance or choice and when he did try to reconnect w/Michael, Sonny killed him b/c he thought AJ killed Kate/Connie when it was Ava.

@@shirlyo5948 Actually, right before her and Jason broke up, she confided in Patrick about how she created this “fairytale” in her mind that Jason was going to change and that she would be the person to change him. As for Liz asking Jason if he would have time for her, IMO, I feel that she was trying to force herself on Jason. She was willing to put herself in any situation regardless if it were dangerous, just to be with him. But at the end of the day, none of it matters because in the end, Sam got Jason back, went on to live with him, marry him and unlike Liz, INTENTIONALLY have a baby with him. And even though they’re broken up now, JaSam are still in love in 2021. So in the end, we all know who Jason’s soulmate is.
