They had the sweetest most genuine beginnings - that started with a friendship. I hope in the end the writers make Liz Jasons end game and not Lucky who is also coming back..

I'm not so sure that at this point we were supposed to see Liason as an electrifying romantic couple so much as simply the potential they had. It seems strange tptb would build them up so much when it had been known for some time that SB was leaving the show. I think they gave us this in the hope that he would return before too long and they could really launch the relationship from there. The pair's initial time together was to forge an intense connection. So I disagree with those that say they were in love then, and those that say Jason never felt anything for Liz. They clearly mean a lot to each other, but I don't think either of them makes the other twitchy in the nethers just yet. And that's okay. That's part of what makes Liason special. It's something we didn't see in such intricate detail with Jasam, at least not that I can remember. Jasam fans like to use this period as "proof" that Liason didn't have anything, when, in fact, if shows just the opposite.

I love this montage but I feel it's missing an important clip - the one where he is about to move out and gives her that little speech about how much she's helped him (made him eat gallons of soup, etc.) He ends it with "...that's more than friends. There's no word (for) what I feel for you."
