When Jason wanted to tell Monica, because of all the loss she had at that time, and wanting to give her something to live for, Elizabeth's tears of course, were valid, and Jason ended up not telling. It's very evident that at the time he thought Sam and him will never be again so since liz had his child, he think it makes sense to be with her but seem unsure and resistant. Jason cancelling plans and her reaction shows she cannot handle his work and question if love is enough. If they got together this would work for little time, but they wouldnt be durable in the long run cause of his work.

But apparently that's not the case in general because after Liz, Jason for these past 12 years has only been with Sam. And regardless of the "chemistry" Jason has chosen SAM, multiple times over Liz, despite Jake. To this day, Jason is in love with SAM. After being gone for 5 years he wanted SAM. No the writers were CORRECT in breaking up Liz because she proved in 2008 that she can't handle Jason's life. The whole reason he could let Sam into his house and not Liz is because Sam, can handle the danger unlike Liz. Jason and Liz would have been a disaster from the start, because Liz would try to change him into the man SHE wants him to be: no mob, no Sonny and Carly etc. just him being about her and her boys: playing daddy to Cam as well, building treehouse, helping with homework, cleaning house, Sunday dinners at the Q's. This is who Liz wants Jason to be and that's not who Jason is. Sam however, accepts Jason the way he is and he doesn't feel the need to change himself for her.

Liz needs Jason to see you today? Yep… I think that award actually goes to Sam. Notice how even back then, she was getting into trouble, and Jason being the kind hearted soul that he is wasn’t going to let her die, which she should’ve after doing what you did to Jake, but anyway, he rescued her, and then, fast forward until last year, she falls down the stairs I was his basement, get a concussion, and just lies down on the floor waiting for Jason to rescue her. When Sam saw the space heater, she was thanking God that there was finally somewhere she could get warmth, but then, notice, when she was in the hospital, and Alexis thank God that Sam was OK, she piped up and said, “no; thank you Jason. “And this is a woman who deserves Jason? This is a woman who is made her whole purpose in life all about Jason, and everyone else, including her children come second. Alexa said it best when she and Sam are fighting, and she said that Sam makes her whole life and whole identity about Jason. All Elizabeth wanted was for Jason to be honest with her, and trust that she could handle it, even if it meant that he was rescuing Sam. She could’ve handled that, and I think they could have made something work as long as Elizabeth know that the kids were safe; even if it was something like they needed to go somewhere safe to be away from Jason enemies. And if Sam is such a danger junkie, then why don’t we see that instead of seeing her just whining about being pregnant, tired, nauseous, starving, and then sitting around being domesticated? That’s not entertaining soap material. Liason at this point would have had more substance for a story. They could have been the Luke and Laura of this generation, we are Elizabeth similar to Laura tried to do with that life, and eventually ended up separating. Now that jasam in less than a year got our union, wedding, and baby girl what they need Emily, tears… Nothing for story purposes, so if that’s what they want, then write off into the sunset, never to be seen again, because we don’t want a boring fluffy couple; we want a couple with drama that could break them apart because in soapland, you’re boring if you stay together and there’s no story. First of all, a relationship's depth determines its value and not the length. So, Elizabeth meeting him first means nothing especially when Jason left for portion, was married for another portion as was Elizabeth and Jason's relationship with Sam takes up a good portion of what's left then clearly, a relationship's worth is not about how long two people have known each other. Secondly, you need to know that defensiveness isn't a good thing as it arises out of a person's insecurities. So Elizabeth's defensiveness stems from her insecurities regarding her questioning how strong her relationship with Jason as well as questioning how he feels about it, her, and Sam. This is not a woman who believes in her relationship much less trusts it and you know what, that's understandable considering the fact that her entire romance with Jason is cemented in being the mother of his child which happened accidentally because the condoms he wore when they had sex were from a defective batch and that sex happened for two reasons, Jason wanted to forget about losing the woman he loved and Elizabeth hiked up 15 flights of stairs to get to his door so she could cry on his shoulder and only, Jason and Liason fans are gullible enough to think wasn't premeditated by Elizabeth.

This is proof that Elizabeth was willing to risk it all to be with Jason in the same for her, but circumstances proved otherwise. She could have handled his life. I hate how Elizabeth and Jason were trying to do the noble thing by having Jake be safe, yet somehow, just because Jasam fence think that just because she likes to go on adventures and lived I dangerous life was the only one who could handle Jason‘s life. Jason chose a dangerous life which would make his loved ones targets. Saying that you can handle something and actually being able to handle it are two different things. However, the truth is that when push came to shove, Jason did not want to be Elizabeth's husband. It wasn't about his job putting her in danger or him being Jake's father making him a target because his job/life was the same when he took in Sam while she was pregnant and was going to help her raise that baby, it was the same when they fell in love and they tried to adopt, and it was the same all the while that Jason was engaged to Sam and they were actually trying to get pregnant. And nothing changed when Sam and Jason got back together and he actually did marry her, still wanted to have kids with her, and he brought Sam and Danny home so that he could spend his life with his wife Sam and his son Danny. If Jason had really wanted to marry Elizabeth then he would have made it happen but he didn't... he just didn't want to hurt her feelings so he used his dangerous job as an excuse.

To our fellow GH fans, we will like to contribute to the discussion regarding one particular character, Elizabeth. We do it with all due respect and our intention is not to offend anyone but to bring to light certain aspects of Elizabeth's character that, if analyze objectively, makes her extremely flawed. If you decide to look at the character objectively all of you will be able to realize that Elizabeth is indeed extremely flawed not because anyone said so, but because the facts and the evidence as analyzed throughout the years have shown us that. For example, Elizabeth's first instinct is to lie no matter what are the circumstances. She did it while married to Lucky and later on while she was engaged to him. She was the one that manipulated Jason into giving up Jake allegedly because his life style was not safe and was too dangerous and then when Carly confronted her in 2008 she lied and said that it was Jason's idea. Since, Elizabeth is being interested in Jason she has gone back and forth in regards to his life style but the truth of the matter is that she wants him to change for her and he is never going to do that and she knows it. Back in 2004, Elizabeth told Sam when they were both at Kelly's and Sam was pregnant that she couldn't stand the violent world in which Jason lives in. She even called Jason a killer. As we were told that was the reason for making everyone believe that Lucky was Jake's father, right. But because she is such an inconsistent mother, that can't make up her mind, she constinuesly puts her needs before her children's. Because of those actions, Jake had been kidnapped twice (2007 & 2008) and hit by a car twice (2011 & 2015). She has always been more focused in pursuing a relationship that would never work than making sure that her children are safe and sound. The sad thing about this character is the thought process she goes through to justify her own actions. For instance, in 2008, Elizabeth said to Patrick, after Jake's kidnapping by the Russians, that she tried to create the perfect picture of the happy family with Jason sitting on the couch or eating dinner and putting the kids to bed. While Knowing very well that would never happen because Jason would never change. Furthermore, she went on to say that she was trying to change Jason to that comment Patrick responded "that is women worse mistake and men worse nightmare". On that day, she called herself dillusional. Another interesting fact is that in 2011, Sam went to Elizabeth's house after Jake's death" to, once again, apologized for the events that took place back in 2007. During said visit Elizabeth accepted Sam's apology and furthermore she went on to admit that she was wrong when she bailed on Lucky back in 2006 and turned to Jason when Lucky needed her the most. Elizabeth told Sam that she realized that all of them acted wrongly but that her actions led to a lot of mistakes and pain especially denying Jason his son. The problem that this type of action represents is that every time she had the chance to stand by her words she didn't do it and she went against her own actions. We would clarified this statement ahead when we talk about the 2012 DNA incident. Which by the way, gave us a real insight on this character's true colors and motivations. To be really clear on the circumstances of Elizabeth's character it is important to understand the special circumstances that surround her. Elizabeth and Jason tried to date around 2002 but they were not intimate until 2006 when she found out about Lucky's infidelity. So, let us get this straight Lucky was unfaithful and her answer was to be unfaithful herself. In our book two wrongs don't make a right. This goes straight to the moral-ethical code of the character which made it more questionable. But yet she didn't see her actions as wrong and more to it she didn't take responsibility for them and kept on lying. Once again, we all know that was not until Jason's murder trial in 2007 that she was forced to tell the truth about they sleeping together. However, she chose to lie under oath in regards to Jake's paternity. Again, this is her first instinct when she feels cornered or trapped. The problem with this behavior is that for this character it is a pattern. Another, problem that Elizabeth has is that she loves to play the victim and that leads her to not take responsibility for her own actions. She did it back in 2002 when Jason shut down on her and she slept with Zander. Interesting enough Jason saw them together. Off course, she told Jason that it happened because he pushed her away and because she was scared. Although, she had to admit to Jason that she led Zander on. So, here we started to see the pattern emerged. We can observed something similar in 2010 when Lucky found out her affair with Nicholas. He called her out for all the things she did to him by using words we shall not repeat when Jason was consoling her. This incident happened in front of Kelly's. If anyone looks at the episode and watch Elizabeth's reaction to Lucky's accusations immediately would realized that she played the victim and accused Lucky of being cruel. She didn't really acknowledge what she did wrong. This fact alone says a lot because she cheated on Lucky with his brother and Aiden's paternity was in question. We know people are going to bring Sam's one night stand with Ric but there is huge difference.

Cont. 2 A one night stand doesn't involve feelings. An affair involves feelings and is a constant lie that the people involved agree to keep on living. Also, immediately after Sam slept with Ric she owned her mistake a told Jason the truth. She didn't have to because Jason had broken up with her but she thought it was the right thing to do. So, to be clear Sam didn't cheat on Jason. Although, Jason was Lucky's friend and he slept with Elizabeth and she was cheating on his husband with Jason. If you were to think about it objectively, there is honor in Sam's decision to tell the truth after the fact while at the same time Elizabeth was asking Jason to keep quiet about what they did. Also, Sam had the intention to tell her mother but what she did with Ric but due to Alexis' illness she decided to wait and help her mother even if it meant things were going to be difficult for her. There is also honor in such decision. After her mother's treatment, she always said she was willing to suffer the consequences of her actions. While in the other hand, as was previously indicated, Elizabeth only told the truth about sleeping with Jason when she was under oath during Jason's trial for Alcázar's murder. Some may argue that she was thinking about Lucky's well being during rehab but the truth is that she was a surgical nurse. She had to know that she could have gone to talk to the Counselor in the Rehab Center to work out a plan on how and when to tell Lucky the whole truth but she chose the path of least resistance which is to lie. But this is consistence with who she is. That is the pattern Elizabeth always follows. Let's remember that when Jason helped her with her financial situation back in 2006 she asked him what she was supposed to tell Lucky and Jason told her to tell Lucky the truth but Elizabeth said: "I can't". Like indicated before her first instinct is to lie. She was always hiding something to Lucky during their marriage. Another significant problem we found with Elizabeth is her capacity and ability to be extremely judgmental. For, we asked ourselves, after all the things she has hidden in her closet which by the way make her character full of contradictions inconsistencies and à huge hypocrite, we just don't understand how can anyone justify Elizabeth's behavior if not only by conceding that her character is a truly trouble one. Let's think about this for a minute, both Robin and Courtney when they realized that they couldn't handle Jason's life style and the fact that he was never going to change, they accepted it and moved on. That is not the case with Elizabeth. She says one thing today, does another totally contradictory thing the next day and then goes back against her words and actions when is convenient for her. So, we need to ask ourselves who does that, only people with serious issues act in such a way. Even Carly is consistent in her craziness and her trouble making abilities. But Elizabeth's character is highly questionable and flawed. To that effect, the evidence is overwhelming. We truly believe that part of the problem is that Elizabeth had always mistaken her infatuation with Jason for love. In 2008, when Jake came into play Jason's feelings got all tangled up with said infatuation and his overwhelming need to be a father to his child. We all know that quite often and infatuation gets mistaken for love and that takes a life on it's own. Also, it could repeat itself under different circumstances and different periods of time. It is our humble opinion that both Jason and Elizabeth had fallen into said vicious cycle. To continue with our discussion, Elizabeth has ever wanted to assume the consequences or responsibilities of her own actions. The best example it can be given is when the truth about Jake's paternity came out she shifted the blame of the aftermath to Sam when Elizabeth was the one that created the web of lies that changed everyone's lives. The same thing happened in 2015 when she was with Drew when everybody thought he was Jason and she lied about who he was. She knew all along the truth about his identify but once again she lied and off course when the truth came to light, once again, she shifted the blame of the aftermath to Sam. That is the pattern with Elizabeth, first the lie, then she shifts the responsibility to someone else, then she cries to gain sympathy and to play the victim. Interesting enough those are the characteristics of someone with histrionic personality issues. Notwithstanding, the aforementioned, the are two facts that really should make anyone think about the lack of moral- ethics of this character and how deeply flawed the character is. First, in 2012 she switched the DNA test of Sam's baby just to make sure that Sam and Jason would get a divorce. That not only violates Federal Law, but it showed that she is a lier, a manipulator and deeply disturb. This is a very interesting and important fact because she was very judgemental towards Sam during the whole 2007 Jake's kidnapping incident without taking into consideration the extenuating circumstances that led Sam to the state of inaction that she found herself in. It is a fact that Sam was suffering from a heartbreak, a major betrayal and a break down which led to not being in the right set of mind to act or to speak after the events. Simply put, Sam snapped. We sustained what we previously argued regarding said matter. However, we add that Sam, in 2008, redeem herself by risking her own life when she protected Elizabeth and her children from the Russians and when she saved Jake. It was after that incident that Jason let her know that they were ok in regards to the 2007 incidents concerning Jake. Also, Elizabeth told her that she was indebted to her. But because part of Elizabeth's personality is her inconsistency, during the 2012 Sam and Jason marital hardship, she forgot what she had told Sam back in 2008. Finally, Elizabeth is now engaged to Franco, the man who kidnapped Aiden. That man once identify as a serial killer. It really doesn't matter the reason why Franco was exonerated the point is nobody can be sure that the problem has been totally resolved. The truth of the matter is that no good mother with a sound judgement would have a relationship with a person like Franco. How would she ever explain to Aiden, who, by the way, is having problems in school, what Franco did.

Liz wouldn't let Jason tell his own mother about Jake and she was grieving the deaths of Alan and Emily. From this conversation, I get that Jason wanted the family life like Sonny, but Jason needs to remember that Sonny was able to do that because Jason handled all the business and protected Sonny's family while his own was always on hold. Also, I think that Liz never felt secure with her relationship with Jason. She was so afraid that Sam could get him back. She knows that Sam is an adrenalin junky like that Jason and is afraid that if they work together that they probably end up sleeping together. But if she and Jason are living together or married that he would stray. There relationship was doomed from the beginning. Jason is there for his son. Jason so called relationship with Liz was all about Jake. Let's elaborate, in 2007, when Jason was in jail during the trial for Alcázar's murder he told Spinelli that once Jake was born he could not put Sam first and that she deserved to be with someone who put her first. This happened after she broke up with him and after he knew what she did regarding Jake meaning that he still loved her but he felt so overwhelmed by the loved for his child that he needed to find a way to stay connected to Jake no matter what the cost. If we look objectively at the way Jason was acting towards the business, with Sonny, Carly and everything else that matter to him he was neglecting everything. Jason became a completely different person. Jason was demonstrating lack of discipline and focus towards everything that had always been important to him in his life. The only thing he was focusing on was Jake and his infatuation with Elizabeth (See Definition of Infatuation below). We identify Jason's feelings for Elizabeth as an infatuation because that is exactly what she felt for him. It was mutual. The interesting factor here was that the basis for Jason's infatuation was his overwhelming love for his son. Let's remember that quite often infatuations take a life on their own and the people involved get stuck on stupid. They forget the essence of who they are and usually constantly compromised themselves just to seek satisfaction. Until something terrible happens that snaps them back to reality. Also, when he confronted Sam because she told Carly the truth about Jake's paternity and she responded by calling him on his choice to be with Elizabeth he was speechless because Sam told him that Elizabeth doesn't understand him, she would never stand by him and she would never support him. Jason knew Sam was right when she told him that his son was going to pay the consequences of said choice. Later on, we found out that Sam was right. Jason fell asleep at the wheel and his actions had consequences: 1. Jason didn't tell Carly that Michael was playing around with guns. 2. Michael shot Kate by accident and then Michael ran away because he was afraid of Sonny's reaction. 3. Carly went after Michael and lost her baby. 4. TMK grabbed Sam. Elizabeth was in the wrong place at the wrong time. 5. Jason hurt his hands 6. Sonny is out of control 7. The Russian Syndicate moved to Town 8. A counterfeit drug ring got established and Jerry is part of it. Sam is undercover but Jason doesn't know it. 9. Michael got shot. All the aforementioned happened on Jason's watch. He used to be more diligent and more efficient. Sonny and Carly asked him a couple of times what was going on and he said nothing. He kept on lying and living on his web of lies while compromising himself over and over just to fulfill his infatuation with Elizabeth by sneaking around with her without thinking that he was putting a lot of people that counted on him in jeopardy. In the meantime his commitments and responsibilities were put aside and forgotten. That is exactly what happened to Jason the entire time he was with Elizabeth. Furthermore, we truly believe that it is anything but love when the person you are with turned you into the worse version of yourself. That is exactly what happened to Jason when he attempted to have a so called "relationship" with Elizabeth. He forgot who he was and all about his commitments and responsibilities. While Jason was with Elizabeth everything was about lies, cover ups, a secret affair, a hide out, compromised values, compromised integrity and total lost of moral compass. There was no honesty, acceptance, support, or understanding between them. So, we asked how could've work? How could have been confused for love? If we take a closer look at the track record, the truth of the matter is that Jason have always known that he needed in his life an equal, someone that he can respect and admire even when he is mad or really angry at that person for whatever reason. Other than Carly, the only person that had been able to inspire that kind of passion and love in Jason was Sam because she loved him unconditionally. He have always known that Sam understood him and stood by unconditionally. It is amazing that even when they were at odds with each other Jason was never able to truly write Sam off. He was never able to move on completely from Sam. Nonetheless, during the Twilight Zone of 2008 Sam did moved on with Lucky. Also, she achieved her own independence, became extremely self reliant and proved how amazingly capable she is. Those are the qualities Jason learned to respect and admire about Sam even when they were not together. That is why he always felt drawn to her and the main reasons he missed her. It was no accident that Jason always felt the need to go to her assistance or aid or to rescue her. Also, the aforementioned were the reasons why Jason never stopped trusting Sam's opinion, instincts and judgement. In reality for Jason her opinion mattered and what she thought of him was important. Dear Fellow GH Fans: We, with all due respect, have to disagree with some of the expression presented by some regarding Jason's and Elizabeth so called "relationship". The following is a series of facts that relates to them: 1. The started a friendship back in the late '90s and the beginning of 2000's 2. In 2002 when Jason shut down on Elizabeth, she has her 1st one night stand with Zander. Interesting enough Jason saw them together. Elizabeth told Jason that it happened because he had pushed her away and because she was scared. Although, she admitted to Jason that she led Zander on. Later on, Elizabeth broke things up with Jason because he lied to her about Sonny being alive. She couldn't accept the fact that there certain things that Jason could never tell her because of his job. Jason also took the opportunity to tell her that he could never give her what she wanted or what she needed. 3. In 2003, Courtney asked Jason after she and Elizabeth got into a fight if he ever was in love with Elizabeth and Jason answered, NO. However, Jason's marriage with Courtney although they were very much in love didn't work out because she couldn't handle his life style and she tried to change him. It is important to remember that all of those events happened before Sam was even in the picture. 4. Elizabeth married Ric. Later on, she cheated on Ric and slept with Zander. This was the 2nd one night stand she had with Zander which left her pregnant with Cameron. To our point, at the time Jason didn't care she was with Ric. Furthermore, this showed that indeed Elizabeth is a cheater. Also, this demonstrates that there is a pattern of behavior with her. 5. Back in 2004, Elizabeth told Sam when they were both at Kelly's and Sam was pregnant that she couldn't stand the violent world in which Jason lives in. Furthermore, she went on to say that Jason was a killer and that she couldn't have her little boy exposed to that kind of life. 6. In 2008, Jason told Elizabeth that he can't give her what she needs because she doesn't accept him for who he is and what he does. Jason is never going to change. This is the same argument they had back in 2002 way before Sam. 7. If it was true that Jason was in love with Elizabeth and they had a history together. Why he never acted on it? He had plenty of opportunities to be with Elizabeth before Sam was ever even a factor. But, Jason chose not to be with Elizabeth. Instead, Jason chose to be with Courtney. Afterwards, Sam became a factor in Jason's life. He fell in love with her and he found in Sam his true match because she loved and accepted him unconditionally. 8. We can't forget that Elizabeth's true love is Lucky. She had said as much since the '90s and during the entire storyline between 2009-2011 until Lucky left Port Charles. We can't forget that she married Lucky twice and that he was his first love. Lucky was the person that helped her through the most horrifying experience of her life. She wanted Lucky not anyone else to be the father of her kids. Not even Jason. That is a real connection. For, it is our humble opinion that what she had always felt for Jason was an infatuation. That is why it comes and goes depending on the circumstances. Funny fact, Lucky left Port Charles in 2011 and Elizabeth, once again, became infatuated with Jason in 2012. It is like a vicious cycle. The same thing happened back in the 2000's when Elizabeth thought that Lucky was dead. She leaned on Jason but when Lucky came back she went back to Lucky. Those are the facts that can be sustained by the evidence shown throughout every single storyline that Elizabeth, Lucky, Courtney, Jason and Sam have been part of. However, there is an undeniable fact, which is that Jason found in Sam someone who loved him for who he is, what he does and she never judge him. Jason found in Sam understanding, unconditional love and acceptance. Jason found in Sam a true partner, somebody he could truly trust and confide in. The truth of the matter is that once Jason found Sam he was never going to let go of her because what Jason found with Sam he never had that with anybody else in his life. This is evident because during the entire 2008 storylines Jason wasn't able to truly move on from Sam. Every single time Sam needed assistance, aid or to be rescue Jason decided to play heroe to Sam. Nevermind, the fact that she had a very capable boyfriend who could have stepped in to help or rescue Sam at any given moment which was Lucky. Jason could have called Lucky to let him handle the situation or called him for back up but Jason chose not to call him. Plain and simple, Jason wanted to be there for Sam. The connection Jason felt for Sam was too strong for him to ignore it. Besides there is the fact that he never was going to turn his back on Sam no matter what had transpired between them. On the other hand, Jason during the entire 2008 storylines looked conflicted when he was with Elizabeth. We believe it was because ultimately Jason came to the realization that Elizabeth had never accepted him for who he was and what he did. Also, Jason realized that Elizabeth has never accepted his lifestyle and the choices that came with it. For, during that entire storyline we saw a very unhappy Jason because he couldn't be truly happy with Elizabeth. He cared and loved her. After all, Elizabeth was the mother of his child but it wasn't like being in love with her. Even Elizabeth acknowledged that she had loved Jason longer than he had loved her. Jason tired but couldn't make it work with Elizabeth for all the reasons stated above. Finally, there is the fact that Jason couldn't truly move on from Sam. He couldn't just let go of his deep connection and feelings for her. Let's be real for a minute, if we find in our lives the kind of unconditional love and acceptance that Sam gave Jason, how many of us are willing to really give it up or truly walk away from it. We say without a shadow of a doubt not many... Finally, to argue that Jason and Elizabeth are soulmates or each others true love is really something that is not sustainable and there is no evidence to support such statement. First, because in 2002 Jason had denied as much. Second, the closest thing to love that came for Jason and Elizabeth was the so called on and off "relationship" they had in 2008 that it was more about Jake and Jason's overwhelming need to be a father than anything else. However, it's important to take into account that since Jason was so eager to be a father to his son that he, most likely, projected the overwhelming feelings he had for his son onto Elizabeth. The sad part about this is that Elizabeth knew exactly what was going on with Jason in regards to his feelings because after Michael's shooting she asked Jason if what he felt for her was about Jake or her (08/29 & 09/02/08). Jason told her that it was not fair of her to ask that question and he was evasive with the answer. Interesting fact is that when he was in love before with Robin, Courtney or Sam he was never evasive when it came to answer such a simple question. Also, in 2004 when Jason wanted Sam back he expressly told her that he wanted her, baby or no baby. That was when Sam appeared with Baby Hope in her arms. He had no problem giving a straight answer in any of those situations. We know that until 2008, Jason was a straight forward guy but once he became a father, those feelings truly overwhelmed him up to the point that his logical thinking and reasoning went out the window. In 2008, Jason was so lost in his need to be a father to his son that if you go back and watch that entire year everyone, most likely, would agree that Jason was not acting like his usual self. He was constantly out of focus and he was not paying attention to the business. He was compromising himself over and over by living a constant lie which alienated Jason from the people he usually confided in and he trusted the most. The people that loved him called him on it a couple of times but instead of acknowledging what they were saying, he chose to ignore them. All of that came at a very high cost. Let's see, partially because of Jason's actions Michael got shot. Afterwards, Jason started to think about what he had done, the choices he made and how wrong he was for ignoring his instincts, his commitments and his responsibilities. That's why he told Elizabeth, again, they would never work. This is the second time that Jason had told Elizabeth that things between them would never work out because he can't give her what she wants or what she needs and he can't be himself with her. To summarize, Jason had said to Elizabeth in 2002, 2008 and then in 2012 when she tried to forced a divorce between Sam and Jason once again by lying and manipulating which is Elizabeth's specialty, that he is not what she needs and that he can't never give her what she wants. It is important to understand that when a man is deeply madly in love with a woman reason goes out the window just like it happened when Jason decided to go against Sonny to marry Courtney. Those are the facts. We invite everyone to go back and watch the episodes objectively because we have done it a couple of times and we stand firmed in what we have, respectfully, expressed. +Darlene Young I completely agree! Liz and Jason are soul mates. They constantly by fate end up in the same places without meaning to be throughout the years. During their NOP Liz said to Jason "I guess it's my instinct to find you when everything starts to fall apart." During the hostage crisis when Jason rescued Liz and ended up in the elevator together Liz, she asked Jason how did he find her in all that smoke and chaos, he said he just did. He was able to find her even though it was extremely hard to see anything and with bullets flying everywhere. It's because of their connection he was able to find her. And when he was first brought into GH as Jake Doe, she said for some reason she felt drawn and connected to him and she didn't even know why. She said she felt the need to watch over him and take care of him much more than any of her normal patients. It was their connection that brought him back to her. And when he woke up, the first person he had flashes of and slightly remembered was her. Not only her face and memories, but how he felt about her as well. He said everything he felt for her felt right and familiar. He never did that with Sam until way later, and even at that, the way he did it felt forced, like the writers needed to hurry their storyline along. It wasn't natural like Liasons connection. Liason are true soul mates, and I hope one day the writers fix their huge mistakes they made with Liason and put them back together for good this time.
