+angien306 - You are right about a lot of things, however, Jason chose Courtney over Elizabeth because she didn't like his lifestyle from the beginning. He actually loved Courtney and Elizabeth got upset because she wanted Jason to choose her and he chose to continue the work he was doing with Johnny. In spite of everything, yes, he cared about Elizabeth because of Jake. After his father died, he promised that he would do everything possible to make sure Jake was in his life. He asked Elizabeth 3 times to let him tell Sam and she refused because Elizabeth knew Jason was in love with Sam. When Jason saw Sam with Ric and they tried making it, he told her he has loved her like no one he's ever loved before. Then once they got married, he told her, she gave him what he has always wanted, "a home." Throughout all of this madness, the one thing Sam was to Jason is "stability" even though it came with great risk, pain, and sorry. It goes to show you never try to force something that shouldn't be together. They tried but it never happened. Also, there are consequences for everything and where it takes you may be hard to come back from. But, Jason and Sam came back.

SAM once again chose not to RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH to tell the TRUTH, instead she withheld it and stupidly let LUCKY make decisions for her when SAM should have gone to POLICE STATION and go under POLICE PROTECTION!! SAM knows this but unfortunately she didn't care and just wanted to be apart of the action.. as an addiction to danger junkie! (((Mind you let's not forget how fast she was about to drope EMILY SCOUT like a hot potato the moment the hospital was in trouble during FEB))). But yes logically if SAM never came in contact with LIZ that night in 2008.... LIZ never would have been seen by the RUSSIANs who were after SAM originally the whole time... that night.. and basically and LOGICALLY LIZ and her kids would have been safe that whole night!!! So it is basically Sam's fault why little jake got kidnapped!!. 🤔👌☕️💯 And this another thing is SAM get's to get away with this CONCEPT for over next 13 years! When Jason was Jake Doe she wanted to keep Jason away from his other son Danny. me: SAM sat on the truth about little jake for 4 days! 🤔👌☕️💯 LIZ lied about DANNY's paternity for only 2 days..!🤔👌☕️💯 SAM didn't bring herself tell the truth about little jake's kidnapping to JASON... JASON was in her house and demanded it from her and then JASON THREATENED SAM's life! LIZ lied about DANNY for 2 days.. BUT LIZ told the TRUTH on her own on the second day and JASON was angry with her but he didn't punish her or threaten, liz told the truth immediately and then even apologized to SAM.. where was LIZ's genuine apology from SAM after everything SAM did to LIZ....SAM's apologies during 2008 where just the (JEROME SLOGAN deal to stay quiet about things to keep sam from not going to JAIL JAN 2008)!!! Also SAM in JAN 2016 came to LIZ's house with no PERMISSION from LIZ and with that she provoked little jake for why Little jake was playing PARENT TRAP on his parents... !!! Even KRISTINA TOLD SAM TO LET JASON and LIZ figure OUT what's WRONG with LITTLE JAKE back JAN 2016! 🤔👌☕️💯The result of SAM coming to LIZ's house with no permission resulted LIZ losing her previous house and little jake running outside for help b\c SAM fell down the basement stairs.. which resulted to little jake on his bike getting hit by a car! Had SAM had just told LIZ and JASON that SAM was coming to LIZ's previous house in 2016 with no permission then JASON would have been in on the scene to come with LIZ and then all three of them could have questioned little jake together about his misbehavior at home! But because of SAM's irresponsibility and negligence to be responsible she directly caused LIZ to lose her previous house and little jake almost died when he ran out side on a bike and got hit by a car...! If SAM never came to liz house that day in JAN 2016 and just took KRISTINA's advice.. 🤔👌☕️💯!! Then LIZ would still have her old previous house the EMILY and JASON bought for LIZ back in 2007 and little jake wouldn't have been ran down!! So since then SAM hasn't even paid LIZ back for blowing up LIZ's house.. and almost getting little jake killed that was on SAM!! 🤔👌☕️💯 SAM get's away with too much stuff on this show.. and last time we saw HELENA CURSE SAM.. so why is LIZ... JASON.. and LITTLE JAKE.. only suffering through HELENA>. while once again SAM just sits by as support system and watches....smh.. anyways let's hope for LOGIC BACK on this show and principals are introduced that balance out the cause and effect of how each character has been able to thrive after all this time through the horror and torment characters LIZ.. Kevin, having a bit of difficulty understanding your statement, but here's one for you. Elizabeth + Lucky +Zander +Jason + Lucky + Nicholas + Rick +Jason + Rick+ Jason + Franco. Elizabeth even lost Jason to Courtney, Sonny's sister. In Liz's narrow interpretation of love, you have to conform to her image of you. Sam will always be Jason's true love. Why do you think he never had a flash/memory of Elizabeth while he was Jake. Didn't he have a memory of Sam while he was In Liz's bed? That should tell you something.

Fine Sam and Jason may be long term and end game, but Jason and Elizabeth had been friends since 1998 and have a long history too of at least that which has also been erased by this currently writing team, not just the 2006-2008 on again off again love affair.

This was very sad & heartbreaking & they talk about the danger & how Jake almost died, but TPTB made it ok for Sam to have a baby w/Jason & he didn't walk away from him. I wonder if Steve hadn't left & Danny grew up w/him & Sam if he would have forgotten what happened to Jake & be ok w/raising Danny anyway. That is what ticked me off the most.

+Sarah Swomley - I don't believe Steve (Jason) would have walked away from Danny. I believe Sam would have included Danny in the family because she has always acknowledged Danny. It was Jason and Elizabeth that lied to her. Elizabeth wanted to hoard over Sam the fact that she had something Jason wanted and Sam couldn't have. Elizabeth also wanted all of the attention on her and no one else. She tried playing a dangerous game and it backfired on her.

+Sarah Swomley - When you lie in which Jason and Elizabeth did, especially to Sam, and the person you justabout destroyed is the one to save YOUR child, that’s takes a remarkable person. Sam has never hated Jake. She loved Jason with everything she had and to be betrayed that way is horrible. I don’t hate Elizabeth, but, I detest the manner in which she went about in hurting/lying to Sam. Hurting people hurt people. Now, she is going to return to Lucky and attempt another failed marriage only to wind up with his brother. Again, another tragedy. Elizabeth needs to find out what her problem is and stop destroying herself and other people’s relationship because she doesn’t know what is wrong with her. In addition, if she keeps this up, these kids will grow up and wash her face in the dysfunction that has occurred throughout their lives. Going from man-to-man/woman-to-woman isn’t any good for either party. What happens is we place our sickness/disease on other people and if they’re not strong, we make them believe it is their fault.

Jason so called relationship with Elizabeth was all about Jake. Let's elaborate, in 2007, when Jason was in jail during the trial for Alcázar's murder he told Spinelli that once Jake was born he could not put Sam first and that she deserved to be with someone who put her first. This happened after she broke up with him and after he knew what she did regarding Jake meaning that he still loved her but he felt so overwhelmed by the loved for his child that he needed to find a way to stay connected to Jake no matter what the cost. If we look objectively at the way Jason was acting towards the business, with Sonny, Carly and everything else that matter to him he was neglecting everything. Jason became a completely different person. Jason was demonstrating lack of discipline and focus towards everything that had always been important to him in his life. The only thing he was focusing on was Jake and his infatuation with Elizabeth (See Definition of Infatuation below). We identify Jason's feelings for Elizabeth as an infatuation because that is exactly what she felt for him. It was mutual. The interesting factor here was that the basis for Jason's infatuation was his overwhelming love for his son. Let's remember that quite often infatuations take a life on their own and the people involved get stuck on stupid. They forget the essence of who they are and usually constantly compromised themselves just to seek satisfaction. Until something terrible happens that snaps them back to reality. Also, when he confronted Sam because she told Carly the truth about Jake's paternity and she responded by calling him on his choice to be with Elizabeth he was speechless because Sam told him that Elizabeth doesn't understand him, she would never stand by him and she would never support him. Jason knew Sam was right when she told him that his son was going to pay the consequences of said choice. Later on, we found out that Sam was right. Jason fell asleep at the wheel and his actions had consequences. Let's see: 1. Jason didn't tell Carly that Michael was playing around with guns. 2. Michael shot Kate by accident and then Michael ran away because he was afraid of Sonny's reaction. 3. Carly went after Michael and lost her baby. 4. TMK grabbed Sam. Elizabeth was in the wrong place at the wrong time. 5. Jason hurt his hands 6. Sonny is out of control 7. The Russian Syndicate moved to Town 8. A counterfeit drug ring got established and Jerry is part of it. Sam is undercover but Jason doesn't know it. 9. Michael got shot. 10. Kate got shot 11. Sonny joined the Zacchara Organization. He married Claudia Zacchara. 12. Mob War got started 13. Sam, Elizabeth and the kids were attacked by the Russians 14. Jake was kidnapped All the aforementioned happened on Jason's watch. He used to be more diligent and more efficient. Sonny and Carly asked him a couple of times what was going on and he said nothing. He kept on lying and living on his web of lies while compromising himself over and over just to fulfill his infatuation with Elizabeth by sneaking around with her without thinking that he was putting a lot of people that counted on him in jeopardy. In the meantime, his commitments and responsibilities were put aside and forgotten. That is exactly what happened to Jason the entire time he was with Elizabeth. For instance, as previously indicated, Sam was proven right because Jake did suffer the consequences of Jason's lost of focus and perspective. He was kidnapped by the Russians and almost blown to pieces by his own father. To think that everything could have been avoided if Jason would have stopped compromising himself and would have remained true to who he was. Furthermore, we truly believe that it is anything but love when the person you are with turned you into the worse version of yourself. That is exactly what happened to Jason when he attempted to have a so called "relationship" with Elizabeth. He forgot who he was and all about his commitments and responsibilities. While Jason was with Elizabeth everything was about lies, cover ups, a secret affair, a hide out, compromised values, compromised integrity and total lost of moral compass. There was no honesty, acceptance, support, or understanding between them. So, we asked how could've work? How could have been confused for love? We don't have the answer to these questions and usually the people involved in this type of situations don't either. The only thing that we know for sure is that reality hit everyone very hard in the face and it was not pretty. We do believe they were snapped back into reality. Now, they could go back to be who they really are and stop trying to be what their not. That is the only way they both finally can go back to be true to themselves so they could give the best of themselves to the people they love. Blessed be! #### DEFINITIONS: INFATUATION: An intense but short lived passion or admiration for someone or something. It is based on what you want the person to be NOT on who the person really is. While being in love is about you accepting the person exactly for who they really are instead of who you wanted them to be. It's about accepting the good, the bad and the in between

This was the best analysis of Liason and the Jason Morgan character during the 07-08 years. When you look at that list of things that happened because he’s asleep at the wheel, you get a true sense of how far out of whack Jason was back then. Also, Jason admitted it to Lucky in 2010 that when he lied about Jake’s paternity, and sneaked around to have an affair, he was compromising himself. As you mentioned, he had nothing to say to Sam when she said being with Elizabeth was a bad choice and his son would pay for it. He knew she was right yet he wasn’t at rock bottom until he nearly blew up his own son. I know Sam wasn’t a Saint in 2007 but when you truly realize how close of a call the explosion was... it’s easy to see why it made everything up and then some.

Either way no relationship in a soap opera is meant to last. At some point something has to happen to affect the relationship in a way to cause a couple to break up. They have crazy storylines to keep it interesting. There is no end game couple on any soap opera. Soap operas are called daytime drama for a reason. Also all soap operas are eventually going to be phased out and replaced by talk shows and reality shows.

Amy Holley While it’s true that Soap Operas are dramas and that most couples on them are only kept together for a short while and then are torn apart...SOME Soap couples are SPECIAL. These special couples face a multitude of obstacles and tragedies but they always find their way back to each other because their love is that strong. They’re connected in a way that’s deeper then most. On #GH, #JaSam are one of those couples. Liz & Jason were a mistake that resulted in a child. They are forever bonded because of Jake, but they’re not destined to be together. And one more thing... there’s a rumor circulating that 2 of the Soaps that were cancelled awhile ago may be coming back. So... maybe talk shows & game shows aren’t as popular as you think. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

@@stephaniemccrery9047 I don't know anyone who watches a talk show during the day except for "Ellen" and game shows like The Price Is Right took a major hit when they lost their Bob Barker, while soaps are not as popular as they once were they are certainly still bringing in ratings collectively. Now, to the idea that all soap couples are designed to break up. That is not correct. Most of them do not last for a multitude of reasons. Take Lante, that is a couple that would still be together if not for the loss of Dante (they also would be a lot more popular if hadn't lost JB as Lulu) but Elizabeth and Jason, on the other hand, were expected to be widely popular. The show, Guza, and even Steve Burton, thought that pairing had more of a fan base than what they actually do. Burton learned his lesson that JaSam are a Super Couple and his fans only want to see him with one woman especially since to make Liason work, they had to change the character completely and the backlash against that took him and the show by surprise. They thought Jason was a character that would be immensely popular no matter who they paired him with because that's what the case was before they change from JaSam to Liason in 2006-07. It was nothing like when they changed from Courtney and Jason to JaSam. They expected the fans to just accept it, they also tried to sway fans to support Liason and Elizabeth by making Sam into a bad guy but instead of turning on her, we turned on Jason which took them by complete surprise. The issue of Jake, that's always a hard one for me, not because he's Jason (although the truth is there's plenty of reasonable doubt that he isn't Jason's son already built into the story) but I think the whole having killed him off and donating his kidney to Josslyn then bringing him back five years later is one of the sloppiest retcons I've seen any show do. I get that for the story's sake they need some tie between Jason and Elizabeth because without Jake then they should honestly never talk to each other at length about anything personal or go to one another's houses but then there would be no dram. However, they shouldn't have killed him off in the first place only to bring him back especially since his kidney was donated to Joss. The fact that they explained that way with a black market kidney means that Joss should've died and so should've Nelle. I get that soaps aren't realistic but they stretched it too far with this particular story especially since he's been back for four years and his time on Cassadine Island could be a wealth of plots but it was left alone like it never happened... I mean, if you're going to do one of stupidest retcons ever, follow up on it regardless.

MsLisaPA Sam can be with Jason children or no children and it’s fine because the danger in violence that surrounds Jason‘s life never concerned her. She always believed no matter what that Jason would always try his best to keep her in any kids safe. Even sunny when he first started dating Sam asked if it would be a problem, because everyone knows who son he is and what he does, and that includes who he is with as far as a relationship, and she said that wasn’t a problem. She knows son he loved his family and would do his best for them. Of course, she would not wish for a child to be harmed, but she also knows these are the risks that you take in such a relationship, but her love and trust and Jason is so deep that she would never question or blame Jason for it. Should the worst happen as a result, she would know it’s not Jason‘s fault. Elizabeth on the other hand was always afraid of the violence surrounding Jason. This was evident in the beginning of their relationship especially in 2002 is when I first noticed really. Granted, they don’t have their entire history uploaded on KZbin, but there is a scene where she is talking to Xander and she is pacing back and forth constantly looking out the window waiting for Jason to come home. I believe the clip is called Elizabeth plays pool with Xander or something like that. They were talking about Jason and Xander was asking her what they were to each other, and she said that they were never sure what they were to each other. She explained that she loved going on motorcycle rides out real fast speeds and that feeling of being free, but that was not reality no matter how much she wanted it to be. Jason‘s life was too dangerous and she told Jason and Courtney that she didn’t like The fact that they were secrets that he had to keep from her because of the business. She felt that she should count and matter and should not have been lied to about Sunny being alive when that is how the business works unfortunately. She even told Sam as was pointed out in a previous comment that she couldn’t surround herself and her child with the violence and Jason‘s life, and asked her if she was sure that she could handle that for her own child. In this scene, she told Jason that she was ignoring reality and then she told lucky that if Jason didn’t break up with her, she was going to. The whole reason for the meeting in secret despite Jake’s paternity already being out was because of the violence that surrounds Jason. Jake would always be a target, and Elizabeth knew that and knew that she was always afraid. She told Jason when Jake was born when Jason told her that he wished that they could share custody, that she would never give Jason even shared custody because she would always be afraid of the constant violence that surrounds his life. Sam never put Jason in a position to choose the violence of the mob or a family with her and her kids.

I probably should have worded that better, because it wasn’t that it wasn’t a concern, but Sam living the life that she had lead from when she was a child, was used to the danger, so she know how to handle it and seeing how Jason was with her and Sonny’s kids, allowed her to trust in him to know that he would do his best to keep them all safe.

@@violetrose1918 Absolutely. Plus, it's more than Elizabeth not being able to handle the danger of Jason's lifestyle. Elizabeth wants him to completely change who he is at his core. She wants a man who is home with her and the kids at regular hours, she wants a man who has a nine to five job, and all the trappings of a boring suburban life. It's exactly why she chose to keep the truth about Jake Doe being "Jason" in 2015 because he was finally exactly the kind of man she always dreamed Jason would be for her. He had no ties to the mob or Sonny, Carly, or Sam. She didn't even want him to have ties to his son, Danny then when the "truth" about Jake being "Jason" was revealed at the church, she still pretended she didn't know and even made a fake showing that he should have a relationship with Danny but didn't want him anywhere near Sam because Elizabeth knew, sooner or later, she'd lose "Jason" to her just as she always had because the truth is that while Sam doesn't have to lie or trick him into being with her, manipulations and lies are the only way Elizabeth stands any chance because she knows in her heart of hearts that she is not the woman that Jason Morgan loves.

To our fellow GH fans, we will like to contribute to the discussion regarding one particular character, Elizabeth. We do it with all due respect and our intention is not to offend anyone but to bring to light certain aspects of Elizabeth's character that, if analyze objectively, makes her extremely flawed. If you decide to look at the character objectively all of you will be able to realize that Elizabeth is indeed extremely flawed not because anyone said so, but because the facts and the evidence as analyzed throughout the years have shown us that. For example, Elizabeth's first instinct is to lie no matter what are the circumstances. She did it while married to Lucky and later on while she was engaged to him. She was the one that manipulated Jason into giving up Jake allegedly because his life style was not safe and was too dangerous and then when Carly confronted her in 2008 she lied and said that it was Jason's idea. Since, Elizabeth is being interested in Jason she has gone back and forth in regards to his life style but the truth of the matter is that she wants him to change for her and he is never going to do that and she knows it. Back in 2004, Elizabeth told Sam when they were both at Kelly's and Sam was pregnant that she couldn't stand the violent world in which Jason lives in. As we were told that was the reason for making everyone believe that Lucky was Jake's father, right. But because she is such an inconsistent mother, that can't make her mind, she constinuesly puts her needs before her children's. Because of those actions, Jake had been kidnapped twice (2007 & 2008) and hit by a car twice (2011 & 2015). She has always been more focused in pursuing a relationship that will never work than making sure that her children are safe and sound. The sad thing about this character is the thought process she goes through to justify her own actions. For instance, in 2008, Elizabeth said to Patrick, after Jake's kidnapping by the Russians, that she tried to create the perfect picture of the happy family with Jason sitting on the couch or eating dinner and putting the kids to bed. While Knowing very well that will never happen because Jason will never change. Furthermore, she went on to say that she was trying to change Jason to that comment Patrick responded "that is women worse mistake and men worse nightmare". On that day, she called herself dillusional. Another interesting fact is that in 2011, Sam went to Elizabeth's house after Jake's death" to, once again, apologized for the events that took place back in 2007. During said visit Elizabeth accepted Sam's apology and furthermore she went on to admit that she was wrong when she bailed on Lucky back in 2006 and turned to Jason when Lucky needed her the most. Elizabeth told Sam that she realized that all of them acted wrongly but that her actions lead to a lot of mistakes and pain especially denying Jason his son. The problem that this type of action present is that every time she has the chance to stand by her words she doesn't and she goes against her own actions. We will clarify this statement ahead when we talk about the 2012 DNA incident. Which by the way, give us a real insight on this character's true colors and motivations. To be really clear on the circumstances of Elizabeth's character it is important to understand the circumstances that surround her. Elizabeth and Jason tried to date around 2002 but they were not intimate until 2006 when she found out about Lucky's infidelity. So, let us get this straight Lucky was unfaithful and her answer was to be unfaithful herself. In our book two wrongs don't make a right. This goes straight to the moral-ethical code of the character which make her more questionable. But yet she doesn't see her actions as wrong and more to it she doesn't take responsibility for it and keeps on lying. Once again, we all know that was not until Jason's murder trial in 2007 that she was forced to tell the truth about they sleeping together. However, she chose to lie under oath in regards to Jake's paternity. Again, this is her first instinct when she feels cornered or trapped. The problem with this behavior is that for this character is a pattern. Another, problem that Elizabeth has is that she loves to play the victim and she doesn't take responsibility for her own actions. She did it back in 2002 when Jason shut down on her and she slept with Zander. Interesting enough Jason saw them together. Off course, she told Jason that it happened because he pushed her away and because she was scared. Although, she had to admit to Jason that she lead Zander on. So, here we started to see the pattern emerged. We can observed something similar in 2010 when Lucky found out her affair with Nicholas. He called her out for all the things she did to him by using words we shall not repeat when Jason was consoling her. This incident happened in front of Kelly's. If anyone looks at the episode and watch Elizabeth's reaction to Lucky's accusations immediately will realize that she plays the victim, accused him of being cruel and she didn't really acknowledge what she did wrong. This fact alone says a lot because she cheated on Lucky with his brother and Aiden's paternity was in question. We know people are going to bring Sam's one night stand with Ric but there is huge difference.

Bottom line is Its 2019 and the writers Still have not dealt with Elizabeth Abandonment Issues. Rebecca Who plays Elizabeth Said That Thats whats wrong with her . Why have The Writers not dealt with this? I realized that there was something. Wrong yet it has never been dealt With. And How is it we never see her Parents or Sisters. Before Sam entered the picture and before Elizabeth had kids, they tried to date and it only lasted 3 days because Elizabeth wants a man who is totally devoted to her. Jason is not that guy. Every time Elizabeth has tried being with Jason, she’s done her best to sever his relationship with others like Carly and Sonny because she does not want to share him. I know this a Stecky site but Liz and Jason did not work because they were not meant to. but they were better as friends and the way the writers scripted their parts they were in pain and Love should not hurt, be hidden you should be able to openly express it no matter the situation, if he truly loved her he would have done ANYTHING I MEAN ANYTHING TO STAY WITH HER AND HER CHILDREN, see love has no boundaries its unconditional she knew what she was getting in to when she climbed 15 or 16 flights of stairs to talk to another man about her marital problems, lie about paternity ( which make me think the child isn't his, have him take a paternity test then burn paternity results) these writers here were so far gone.

Glenda Smith I have always said that Liz and Jason were always better off as good friends. I have never said that he never care for Elizabeth because I truly do think he loves her and more of a friend than a lover. They were in love as deeply as their fans clean they are, they would not have had to act in that way out of hurt, anger, and maybe old feelings. It wasn’t all pent up and that they couldn’t express it. He was in love with Courtney before Sam even entered the picture after Elizabeth. And if they were truly in love, Elizabeth would have said damn the odds and damn everyone else, I want to be with you. Yes Jason did propose, but can you honestly say that marriage would have lasted? Let’s say they did get married and then this happened with the Russians. I think Jason would have ended it the same. MAXIE asked for POLICE CUSTODY when she knew FAISON was coming for her and her baby! So what stops SAM from asking to be placed in the PCD to be protected by the POLICE CUSTODY that's right question that everytime you wonder why jason sked SAM at KARPOV's ware house! Jason: what are you doing here! Being in how SASHA already knew sam was Sonny's mistress her cover was blown but they kept her to keep eyes on her and if things got awkward with SAM, they could use SAM to send a message to sonny! But Sonny killed off KARPOV then SASHA retaliated which resulted the MOB WAR! we can blame SONNY for the MOB WAR! But we blame SAM for not speaking up and asking to be kept somewhere else instead being around Liz and the kids! because of sam's continuous case of NEGLIGENCE that sam has derived to have all this time with herself and others that is why JAKE was kidnapped she refused to say she sould not be around the BOYS! Sam even confirms she knows how dodge a tail when LUCKY was after her during 2006 because of RICK's orders to follow sam to find jason! And yet here we go again Sasha's men were able to tail SAM and Sam led them to LIZ's house with LUCKY! When sam should have told JASON she needs to turn herself into the police, to protect herself and others from coming after her! If i'm wrong, why did SASHA continue coming after Sam because Sam was the intended target to get to SONNY and SASHA used the point of coming after Sam as leverage to flee PORT CHARLES! SO therefore JAKE's kidnapping by the Russians is basically sam's fault! Sam saving Jake wasn't heroism it was Sam doing it out of GUILT! The jasam fan base fan service of scenarist fans and people are free to forgive sam, but the rest of us REAL GH fans have every right to disregard Sam's heroism she's the reason why JAKE was kidnapped in the first place! It just sucks that LIZ was never allowed to ask SAM why she didn't listen to LUCKY stop tailing KARPOV! And notice after this whole thing was over, Sam left LUCKY....So therefore Lucky was just keeping Sam while Sam hung back waiting for Jason and LIz to break up because Sam knew that jason would push LIz away for good and Sam was ready for jason to settle for her!! All sam had to do was hang around and be good person from now on so Jason can see that sam will change! And she did and so Jason gave in and settled for Sam!! that's how it goes! She accepted that jason will continue to lie to her, she accepted that jason will never put her first, and Sam accepted that jason didn't want kids! And then 2011 the show had to change due to concept of it likely being cancelled! And SB was leaving in advance during this time! so the best way to secure GH raitings was to promote JASAM and give the jasam fan base something to hold on to which was a baby for JASAM! Come 2014 the nonsense of a fake jason returns and then the JASAM fan base attacks LIASON CHANNELS and controls the airwaves send death threats to Rebecca Herbst and her family on sociial media! All over a fake jason morgan story line!! the audacity not one single apology to Rebecca Herbst from the ever so loving jassam fan base that is overly rewared so much on this show by these cowardly executives! The role of Sam could have asked for POLICE CUSTODY! MAXIE asked for POLICE CUSTODY when she knew and was well aware before hand that FASION was after her and her baby! So Sam was well within her right, to do the same, she was working with LUCKY originally once her cover was blown SAM right there had ever chance to go to her mother Alexis to get to MAC or LUCKY and ask them to give SAM police protection custody, they would have done that right there and then and SASHA never would have had a moment to send people at SAM because SASAH only wanted SAM! Mind you, realize from the moment Sasha told KARPOV that hiring Sam was a bad idea! Sasha already has been keeping tabs on SAM!! That was the whole concept, and Sam picked it up the moment she was back in the wall at jason's side watching him firing off against karpov's man on the following episode of Karpov's death! Now let's review, if i'm wrong in how the show's executive has catered to the jasam fan base to omit any fallacy upon Sam in situations like this how come in today's present GH of 2019 SAM is over here parading around KRISTINA when SAM should have been at JASON's side to Avenge KIKI JEROME! SAM's flesh blood cousin who was killed by RYAN CHAMEBRLIN! Sam should have been in that moment to avenge KIKI but now the killer has been ousted and SAM isn't even scripted to undo a horrible wrong! Instead it's more important to shove this nonsense SHIHLO crap down our throats and once again mirror to 2008 to our 2019 the role of SAM is denied to be allowed to accept fallacy and go upon it's merit to avenge or unwritten horrible event based upon it's own merit! I'm tired of anyone making excuses for why these chronological concepts of events are denied from the role of SAM by these executives! SAM is all that and a bag of chips but at the and of the day the fallacy is unparalleled! Look at LIZ's previous house that was destroyed because of SAM over a fake jason morgan DREW who was never jason in the first place! Sam didn't even compensate one cent to LIZ losing her previous home back in 2016! if Sam was trying to help jake she has a phone picked up and text the mother of the son of that home, instead she didn't text anyone and didn't even inform the babysitter of jake's that she was there! If sam wanted to help jake she should have stood by the side of the fake jason morgan\Drew at that hospital and just support him going through this!! Nobody told Sam to go to liz's house with no permission! And yet BOOM liz's previous house was gone! ONCE AGAIN that is another FALLACY thrown out as if it doesn't matter when it does!!! Now back to 2008 I SAID THIS IS SAM'S FAULT and instead of speaking up when she could have to ask for POLICE CUSTODY SAM chose not to say anything and she let LUCKY tell her what to do! WHEN SAM has been going on to say that she has street smarts, jasam fans say, SAM has knowledge about the business, SAM says she knows how to dodge a tail!! So where was all of that mind set conveniently disappearing from when SAM had every opportunity to contact or speak up there and then to tell them the idea for sam to be around liz and the kids is bad!! Sam had every chance to speak up but no the executives didn't allow the role of Sam to say anything! It makes sam look bad and it must not be excused or ignored or undermined to save face! The audiences is smart enough to know well enough that Sam was aware Sasha would be after her! And sam came to realize that even after Sasha lost all of Karpov's man, Sasha still came after Sam!! Sam knew that!! And when it came to SASHA and KARPOV and over all that is what is SAM's fault is! Sam should have asked for And people need to start realizing that!!! If my comment offends you i am forever sorry but my statement stands! I will always defend SAM against FRANCO or any other monster like FRANCO such as MANNY RUIZ!! Sam deserves justice and monsters like FRANCO deserve no place on today's general hospital! But when it comes to fallacy being denied and dismayed and ignored to be treated as something that doesn't matter i have to speak up and call it like it is! Cont. 2 A one night stand doesn't involve feelings. An affair involves feelings and is a constant lie that the people involved agree to keep on living. Also, immediately after Sam slept with Ric she owned her mistake a told Jason the truth. She didn't have to because Jason had broken up with her but she thought it was the right thing to do. If you were to think about it objectively, there is honor in Sam's decision to tell the truth after the fact while at the same time Elizabeth was asking Jason to keep quiet about what they did. Also, Sam had the intention to tell her mother but due to Alexis' illness she decided to wait and help her mother even if it meant things were going to be difficult for her. There is also honor in such decision. After her mother's treatment, she always said she was willing to suffer the consequences of her actions. While in the other hand, as was previously indicated, Elizabeth only told the truth about sleeping with Jason when she was under oath during Jason's trial for Alcázar's murder. Some may argue that she was thinking about Lucky's well being during rehab but the truth is that she is a surgical nurse. She had to know that she could have gone to talk to the Counselor in the Rehab Center to work out a plan on how and when to tell Lucky the whole truth but she chose the path of least resistance which is to lie. But this is consistence with who she is. That is the pattern Elizabeth always follows. Let's remember that when Jason helped her with her financial situation back in 2006 she asked him what she was supposed to tell Lucky and Jason told her to tell Lucky the truth then Elizabeth said: "I can't". Like indicated before her first instinct is to lie. She was always hiding something to Lucky during their marriage. Another significant problem we found with Elizabeth is her capacity and ability to be extremely judgmental. For, we asked ourselves, after all the things she has hidden in her closet which by the way make her character full of contradictions inconsistencies and à hypocrite, we just don't understand how can anyon justify Elizabeth's behavior if not only by conceding that her character is a truly trouble one. Let's think about this for a minute, both Robin and Courtney when they realized that they couldn't handle Jason's life style and the fact that he was never going to change, they accepted it and moved on. That is not the case with Elizabeth. She says one thing today, does another totally contradictory thing the next day and then goes back against her words and actions. So, we need to ask ourselves who does that, only people with serious issues act in such a way. Even Carly is consistent in her craziness and her trouble making abilities. But Elizabeth's character is highly questionable and flawed. To that effect, the evidence is overwhelming. Therefore, it can safely be concluded that there is no evidence or indication that Elizabeth has ever wanted to assume the consequences or responsibilities of her own actions. The best example it can be given is when the truth about Jake's paternity came out she shifted the blame of the aftermath to Sam. The same thing happened in 2015 when she was with Drew when everybody thought he was Jason and she lied about who he was. She knew all along the truth about his identify but once again she lied and off course when the truth came to light, once again, she shifted the blame of the aftermath to Sam. That is the pattern with Elizabeth, first the lie, then she shifts the responsibility, then she cries to gain sympathy and to play the victim. Interesting enough those are the characteristics of someone with histrionic personality issues. Notwithstanding, the aforementioned, the are two facts that really should make anyone think about the lack of moral- ethics of this character and how deeply flawed the character is. First, in 2012 she switched the DNA test of Sam's baby just to make sure that Sam and Jason will get a divorce. That not only violates Federal Law, but it showed that she is a lier and a manipulator. This is a very interesting and important fact because she was very judgemental towards Sam during the whole 2007 Jake's kidnapping incident without taking into consideration the extenuating circumstances that lead Sam the state of inaction that she found herself in. It is a fact that Sam was suffering from a heartbreak, a major betrayal and a break down which lead to not being in the right set of mind to act or to speak after the events. That's exactly what happens in cases of " batter women". This doesn't mean that there are no legal consequences because there are for what Sam didn't do. All we are arguing is that all of that happened didn't happen in a vacuum. Let us explain. At the time, Sam was submerged in the web of lies that both Elizabeth and Jason had fed her for months. Anyone similarly situated to Sam had to acknowledge that it would had been very hard to get through such a situation with their sanity intact. That is exactly what happened to Sam. She snapped. Some may argue that Sam deserved what Elizabeth did with the DNA precisely because of the 2007 events regarding Jake and the incident she manufactured in the Park. We sustained what we previously argued regarding said matter. However, we add that Sam, in 2008, redeem herself by risking her own life when she protected Elizabeth and her children from the Russians and when she saved Jake. It was after that incident that Jason let her know that they were ok in regards to the 2007 incidents concerning Jake. Also, Elizabeth told her that she was indebted to her. But because part of Elizabeth's personality is her inconsistency, during the 2012 Sam and Jason marital hardship, she forgot what she had told Sam back in 2008. Finally, Elizabeth is now engaged to Franco, the man who kidnapped Aiden. That man once identify as a serial killer. It really doesn't matter the reason why Franco was exonerated the point is no body can be sure that the problem has been totally resolved. The truth of the matter is that no good mother with a sound judgement would have a relationship with a person like Franco. How wolud she ever explain to Aiden, who, by the way, is having problems in school, what Franco did.

Just go back and watch clips and episodes and you will realized that out all the relationships that Jason has had, besides Carly, Sam is the only person that has always been there for him and that has always accepted and loved him unconditionally without expecting anything in return. Jason is unable to be in love with Carly because of her ways. Besides, Carly always expects Jason to fix her problems. But Sam to the contrary to everyone else has always assumed the responsibility for her own actions and has never expected Jason to clean up or fix her problems. He never had that with anyone else because all the others tried to change him. Sam never has and she never will. An example of this is the time when he fell for Courtney and decided to marry her. He was in love with Courtney but not with Elizabeth. Jason told Courtney in 2003 after she and Elizabeth got into a fight if ever was in love with Elizabeth and Jason answered, NO. However, it didn't work out with Courtney because she couldn't handle his life style and she tried to change him. It is important to remember that all of those events happened before Sam was even in the picture. Some may argue what about Jason's and Elizabeth 2007-2008 on and off so called relationship. Well, that is the thing, for a relationship to exit it has to be acknowledged by the people involve as well as by others otherwise is a secret affair. Once again, they couldn't be in the open because Elizabeth couldn't handle his life style and she tried to change him. It is the same thing Elizabeth tired to do back in 2002 before Jason got together with Courtney. Nonetheless, in 2007, when Jason and Sam broke up while he was in jail waiting for the Alcázar's murder trial he told Spenilli that Sam was right that she needed someone that could put her first. Even though he was mad at her he understood all she said when she broke things up. At that time, he said to Spinelli, that once he became a father he couldn't put anybody else first. So, during the time Jason was with Elizabeth he projected his overwhelming love as a new father for his child into Elizabeth, after all she is Jake's mother. That happens a lot. In 2008, after Michael got shot even Elizabeth knew this fact, so much so, that she asked Jason if he loved her for her or because she was the mother of his child. Jason responded: "it is not fair for you to ask me that". Through out the years we have seen that Jason and Elizabeth do share a connection and he cares for her . However, the problem has always been that she wants him to feel more for her than he does. He has tried but it has not worked because at the end of the day she doesn't get him and he knows that. The fact that she needs to try so hard with him is another flaw of the character. It makes the character look pathetic and weak. To finalize our main argument, as stated at the beginning Elizabeth is an extremely flawed character on her on right and is being that way for many years before the whole JaSam phenomenon. We truly believe that her deep psychological issues and the reasons behind all of her actions is because she never overcame her rape. That is why she has an insatiable need to play the victim. She always has the need to relay on a man whether is Lucky, Jason or someone else to make her feel safe. Also, being a victim gives her character a perfect excuse for not taking responsibility for her own actions and for always finding a way to shift the blame onto someone else. It is also a reason why her first instinct is to lie. We truly believe the writers have intended for Elizabeth's character to be this flawed. For any writer, this type of character is very flexible and that is very important for a writer during the creative process. Unfortunately, she is not the heroin of the story. But her flaws and inconsistency are fun to watch.

In 2008, in our humble opinion, what Jason and Elizabeth were doing throughout this entire storyline was not having a relationship, to put it plain and simple, they were having a secret affair. They met in a hidden place to be together. That is just plain wrong and ridiculous. First, it is wrong for an alleged responsible mother that wants to keep her children safe. Also, it is naive to think that Jason's enemies are not watching every move he makes or who he talks to so he is exposing Elizabeth and her children to the very danger she allegedly doesn't want them to be exposed to. So, you see for this storyline to work we need to place it in an alternate universe where people start acting against their core values and common sense. Here we have Jason being totally irresponsible, careless and unfocused. Up to the point, that Sonny and Carly called him on it a couple of times. Since when, Jason puts aside his rational thinking when he knows the second he does that is precisely when the people he cares about would be in imminent danger. Well, maybe that was the point the writers were trying to make. That Elizabeth was so wrong for Jason up to the point of irrational thinking and irresponsibility that he fell asleep at the wheel that the end result was that Michael got shot. From then on, everything when down hill, Sonny spiral down, Carly took the kids away from Sonny, Jason had to take over Sonny's business and the Russian Syndicate moved to Town. To made matters worse, Sonny's fiance got shot and then Sonny ended up as head of the Zacchara Organization. It is hard to imagine that everything happened just because Jason wanted to be with Elizabeth. It would be easier to understand if we analyzed all of these facts objectively. If Jason instead of being so focused in trying to please Elizabeth to be the man she wanted instead the man he was,so he could be close to his son because that was the only way he could, he would have paid full attention to what was happening with the business maybe, like in so many other occasions before, he would have been able to anticipated the enemie's moves before they made it. That particular ability is one of the things that makes Jason so valuable. Instead, because Jason's attention was divided between the business and Elizabeth, who is someone that doesn't accept him for who he is or what he does, once again he compromised himself and the end result was that someone he loved paid the price. It is that simple. Also, it is important to acknowledge the intricacies of that alleged "relationship" because it would be very helpful in letting us know the true nature of it. For example, during all the time that Jason allegedly was with Elizabeth, he tried to plan a future with her and her kids. In other words, Jason was looking for the only way he knew how to be a father to his son. However, when they were together all they talked about was Jake. Jason didn't share parts of his life with her nor he bother to create intimate moments with her besides having sex. We all know that having sex is just that it just being in the moment but it doesn't built intimacy between a couple there ehas to be more. He never planned romantic dinners or watched romantic movies or did anything romantic with Elizabeth. He just wasn't that thoughtful with her like he was with Sam since he fell in love with her back in 2004 and asked her to move back in with him. We know some may argued that Jason made the arrangements for the Italy trip but the truth is that when it came to Elizabeth he never could delivered. However, when Jason was with Sam he always found a way to deliver on his romantic gestures. He always wanted to make sure that she knew how he felt about her. Jason either did it himself or asked for help but he managed to deliver. For, it would be logical to conclude that because Jason was not himself and was so conflicted during the course of his so called "relationship" with Elizabeth, he didn't put in the effort with her mainly because it was not about her but because it was about being a father to Jake and also because he always knew it would never work with Elizabeth. The sad thing about this is that while Jason was trying his best to make it work with Elizabeth he was never able to really moved on from Sam. In every situation where Sam was in involved or in need of assistance or in danger Jason chose to go to her and play hero. Here are some examples of situations that Jason decided to get involved with Sam, with Joe the Mechanic in the hospital, when TMK kidnapped Sam, when Jerry kidnapped Sam and when the Russians kidnapped Sam. All the aforementioned happened, in spite the fact, that Jason knew that Sam was in a relationship with Lucky. So, Jason could have easily called Lucky and told him Sam was in trouble and allowed him to handle it. But he chose not to. Jason chose to be the one to be there for Sam in every instance. Even though he knew that would caused him problems with his already unsteady affair with Elizabeth. Those are the facts the writers provided us with. We know sometimes it's hard to see certain things but if we look back Elizabeth and Jason are acting exactly in the same way since they met back in the late '90s. Their conflicts and differences are nothing new. They are the same thing that didn't allow Jason to fall in love with Elizabeth back in 2002 and is the same thing that happened in 2008 and then in 2012. Hence, what Jason felt for Elizabeth in 2008, was the projection of the love he had for his son. Jason wanted and needed to be dad so badly that he lost himself in that sentiment and lost all focus. That came at a huge cost. What is tragic about all of this was the fact that Elizabeth knew that what Jason felt for her was all about Jake. Elizabeth asked Jason about it after Michael's shooting and he evaded the answer. Jason just said that it was not fair of her to ask him that. More to our point over and over again Jason had told Elizabeth that they would never work because she is opposed to everything he is and what he stands for which is exactly what Sam had previously said to him early on in 2008. We just wanted to provide a different perspective and a different point of view. We just hope that our exposition only helps to bring more light to this vibrant discussion.

Carly: Jax threatened to make a bid on one of Zacchara's holding companies so the Feds will look into it and possibly charge him with tax evasion. Jason: That's just great. He settles for a woman who fits his life and goes back to Sam (i think he loves sam but his heart is with Elizabeth because he gave her up) Sam gets pregnant they think it's Jason's((wait no it's Franco's wait no it's Jason's) jason can't handle that it's not his baby then they're reunited not realizing it's his then Jason "dies" but then Jake comes back and Jason comes back as a man who doesn't remember then he remembers but he's not the same inside he decides to pursue a relationship with both boys that believe he's their father the one they longed for, wait it's not Jason, real Jason returns believing it's 2012 and he's not Danny's father and Jake is dead, but wait now he's Danny's father and Jake is alive and they believe that another man is their father and now he has to publicly admit that he has children because another man declared himself their father publicly(when Jason before 2012 never did) so he's trying to build a relationship with both boys who now love other men as their father figures! Yet in the end(with the exception of Michael) he technically raised his own biological child as a baby/toddler and never actually declared himself as a father! It was all done for him by way of others and situations outside of his control! Oh and sam had the baby girl Emily they always wanted with his brother and Elizabeth married his biggest enemy(I think Elizabeth loves Franco but I think she settled because Jason gave her up i think Jason has her heart) and now his enemy has his brothers memories because he was trying to save Cameron who was another child he felt a connection to because he loved Elizabeth! And Michael the 1st baby that Jason loved as a son(his 1st born of the heart) believes his baby is dead because of the fact that his mother Nell is angry her kidney was stolen and given to Josslyn Michaels sister because Jake never died! This is a messy tricky situation! And Jason is at center of it all! Most of it out of his control yet it all started because he was trying to control the future of his son and the woman he loved by giving them up to keep them safe yet 10+ yrs later no one is safe, happy or where they want to be or expect to ever be(sam may love Jason but I think she settled because it was safe and familiar but I think her heart is with Drew)!

This was long over due, by two and a half years from the night the writers made the mistake of having these two sleep together in the first place. Jason and Elizabeth had already been attempted back before Sam and before Courtney, and it failed because they're incompatible. She has never wanted Jason as he is but the version of him that she made up in her mind which is why she jumped at the chance in 2015 to steal him from his real wife and family, and she can't even say she did it for Jake since she began her lie before his death was retconned, another stupid things the writers did. I hated what they did to Jason to make the whole fiasco with Elizabeth plausible. The Jason of 2007 and 2008 was not the real Jason, it's no coincidence that they went back to Jason and Sam in 2009.

The way Guza had Jason and Liz hook up in 2006 was like, "Huh." Jason and Liz slept together and then had them cuddle like they were about to be a new couple and literally the next day, went back to being friends, while he was still proclaiming to be in love with Sam. But once Jason found out that Liz was carrying Jake, he willingly allowed Liz to mind-fuck him, which cost him his relationship with Sam. I remember there was a JaSam scene in Dec. 2008 after Sam had rescued Jake from the exploding warehouse and Sam was talking to Jake in the back seat while Jason was driving. Jason became emotional and I couldn't help to think that this would have been Jason's life had he not listened to Liz and had stayed with Sam. Sam would have accepted Jake and Jason and Liz would have co-parented.

My heart breaks for Liz and Jason. They love each other so much. I truly hope they give Liz and Jason another chance at a relationship worthy of Luke and Laura. The writers did Liz and Jason wrong and the writers need to fix it. I dislike Liz with Franco. Give the fans what they want Liz and Jason, Sam and Drew are awesome together, so leave them alone.

Melony M wasn’t just Jason though that would pull away; Elizabeth would do the same. She would want to be with Jason, but then she would say comments about how his life is surrounded by violence and she could not live like that because she was always afraid. That’s why she told Jason when Jake was born that she would never even give him shared custody because of the violence that surrounds him. That’s why they had to meet in secret in the first place. If that were true that he loved Liz the most and she felt the same, no amount of Jason telling her they would have no contact and they would not be able to see each other again nor would he have a place in Jake’s life would have deterred her. She would have thought to be with Jason so they could be a family, but she didn’t. In fact, she told lucky that if Jason wasn’t going to break things off with her, she was going to break it off with him. Elizabeth compared to other relationships has never fought for a relationship with Jason the way she has with others. Even her current relationship with Franco, she has fought for that relationship as he had done, and I am not even a Friz fan, but do you want to talk about a relationship? That is a relationship. They have proven over and over that they have that kind of the two of them against the world and Elizabeth is not ashamed of it. Despite Franco’s past, she has told people how much she loves him and believes in him which is far different from her relationship with Jason.

Dude Liz lies for like, three seconds before fixing her mistake. She did it to try to get back at Sam for watching Jake get kidnapped but she couldn’t follow through with it so she quickly fixed her wrong. Unlike Sam who let days go by and actively tried to prevent anyone from doing anything to get him back. She said something days later to Jason after she knew they caught in to her.
