Let’s be real!!! Steve Burton should have won an Emmy for this.

They took a gifted, lovable actor/character and killed him off after years of enjoyable entertainment. Yeah, makes me sick they did that.

GH you could have made this one of the greatest moments in GH history allowing Jason and Alan making amends, and voiced their love for each other, but no, let's make Jason feel guilty forever for not being there.

The Q Family would have been excited for a grand/ great child. Steve you kill this moment, and you made me cry. I am so beyond upset GH missed up with Liason, The Q Family, and Jake!!!😭😭😭

i love what edward had to say. someone needs to tell jason and elizabeth this today!

This was some really great acting and the level of emotions...I just can't understand the Jason of today because he and Elizabeth had always had a connection from when she was a teenager and their relationship was beautiful to me. I really enjoyed their connection after because even when she was just pregnant he couldn't stay away but after she had Jake he so wanted to be with them. Even after the end of Liason he still had his feelings for Elizabeth and when he came back, he just seems like a robot now. There is no way this Jason wouldn't want to spend as much time as possible with Jake even with the hot mess that is Sonny, hypocritical Carly and Sam.

Steve Burton is a great actor; brought tears to my eyes. Why do they have to kill off all the Quartermaines? I've watched GH since I was little and they were the highlights of a lot of episodes.

Never saw this before. This was the best argument for Jason to claim his son. I know Liz was afraid what the knowledge of Jason & her making love and creating a child together would do to lucky and sam, but I think Jason's conviction and determination would have given her the courage to speak the truth as well. They should have told the truth right then & there. Jason would have protected Liz & her boys to his dying breath. They would have made it work no matter what anyone said.

I agree, I hated the writers for the way they handled Elizabeth not telling everyone right away and Jason for his fear of keeping his son safe all in the name of the writers not wanting Liason

I really hate the writers!! Why couldn't Jadon see the last of his father, and tell him about the pending birth of his grandchild

Wow. One of the few times where Edward talked nicely to Jason.... And said something very special. I'm glad that Edward was there. Obviously he has learned a lot too as he has matured.

Watching this now in 2013 after watching Steve Burton's recent performances on Y & R I cannot understand how he has not earned more daytime Emmy's or received more external job offers, what a waste, hopefully that changes.

P.S. For all of those people in Port Charles, who only see Jason as a "killer" ... They are wrong. His comfort to Skye during this time of huge grief is one example of the man that Jason is too.

This whole scene absolutely killed me. But I loved the moments with Skye and Edward.

Jason loved his dad his face showed emotions and lots of it. It looked like he wanted to cry his eyes he kind of did for Allen that day.Steve acting was amazing in every scenes he did over the years on gh and with all of the people who were on gh before and now but it is not like before back then with all of the gh cast like airtime and more
@sarahswomley25802 жыл бұрын
SB knew SD since he played Jason Q and though w/Jason M, he had to be argumentive w/him, I know he respected SD so much and I can imagine not only was he playing Jason regretting treating his father terrible for years and not have the chance to repair their relationship to tell him while he was alive he now understood what he did as a father now that he was going to be one, but also for SB but losing a special castmate he wouldn't be acting with anymore

This is a turn of events. Once upon a time Jason wanted nothing to do with the Quartermaines and now all he seems to do now is regret not being there for them. First Alan, then Emily and later with Monica. I guess with maturity comes regret.

If only Lizzy would have given Jason a chance he would have chosen her and her baby over Sonny Narly and the mob o yea that’s right she did you chose Sonny Carly and their family what a piece of trash

What a powerful scene. Jason tentatively accepted Monica into his life but struggled to do so with Alan which was ironic since Alan was his biological parent where Monica was not

I usually can't watch monologues with actors talking to graves, the dead, or to sick children,,,that kind of stuff because I find it pretty cringe worthy. BUT I was moved to tears with Steve's performance and the sadness that Stuart Damon was no longer going to be on the show. It's a very sad episode to watch.

Dear Jason. You have learned and grown since your accident. But many times you stayed away from your Dad, and most of the Quartermaines, because of how they acted towards you and each other. So your distance from them is understandable. It really is.

and then Jason swore he would always be there for Jake so Jason in 2019 needs to demand full custody of Jake there is no excuse for that monster franco to be allowed to raise jason's son in jason's face! RIP ALLAN QUATERMAINE!!!
@sarahswomley25802 жыл бұрын
I am not a Franco fan and can't fathom how Liz could be with him, but he was good to her boys and loved them more than Lucky ever did. She has forgiveness in her, otherwise, she would not have been so foolish to get w/Ric again after all he did. I swear the writers like to throw crap at her, but Becky is a trooper and tackles every s/l and nails them

This kind of pisses me off cause everyone in good old port chuckles blames Sonny and Jason for all the deaths let’s talk real they didn’t kill those people the bad guys in port town’s port town’s guys those five family’s and more were coming to take port Charles it was a port criminals need Ports to do what they do not Sonny and Jason’s fault

Yeah, it turns out you’re not there for your son. Jake either just dead inside I guess what a shame poor Jake he deserves so much better than you for.
