Steve and Becky deserved Emmys for this scene, it is one of the most powerful scenes I've ever seen between them and that says alot because all I watch are scenes of them together! it is so emotional and powerful, so much heartbreak, I never understood why they couldn't ever let them be together and still don't to this day! jason is not like this with anyone else, not even spam! liason4ever!!!!

So glad all of Liason's story is up to watch, I've been rewatching all of it recently. I actually love this break up, there's no anger or betrayal, there's just sooo much love. I love how Jason says he made the decision before he even met her, heartbreaking. I even loved all the stuff with Carly, Michael, Sonny, and Elizabeth and Jason witnessing all of it. I just wish all of this story had happened after Elizabeth and Jason got married and had a year of calm and happiness with some small non-danger dramas. THEN give me the soapy goodness of all this and end them right here. I think I would have been very satisfied as a fan. But would I still root for them forever against my better judgment, their own words, and against all odds? Yes, yes I would.

GH has always wanted it both ways with Jason. Jason plays house with Carly, but he struggles to keep a woman and family of his own. That means neither Carly nor his current partner get their due. Carly will always come first. Carly is the only one who is willing to risk everything for Jason, and Jason will risk everything for Carly. But is a cold comfort to only be loved in life or death situations. Everyone else gets the hearts and flowers while Carly gets the struggle.

I started watching the show when Liz and Jason started their friendship and it was the reason I got hooked. They never had a real shot and I think it's because the writers knew that Jason and Liz would be happy and no drama. I stopped watching gh when the real Jason left and now that he's back would love to see them finally have a real shot! No offense to Jason and Sam fans, this is my opinion and no reason to get all fired up. Liason is the only couple that never had their shot and if it doesn't work out, fine, but they should of had their shot. They have been in love for years, before Sam ever came into the picture, even tho I didn't like her much then, her and lucky were good together or keep her with drew, they make a cute couple. Liz and Jason will always and forever be my favorite soap couple and that will never change! Please give them their chance finally without Claudia, ric, carly, sam, lucky, etc ruining it!

Oh please this pairing made absolutely no sense whatsoever the only reason why they tried to give it a go was because of Jake that's it the whole reason why Jason is not with Sam still stands as a thousand times more evident with Elizabeth I just thought the writers were completely stupid to even try to go there Elizabeth will never ever be Sam and that means a woman that can take care of herself pick up a gun shoot a gun take someone hostage be Jason's back up and REAL LIFE PARTNER IN CRIME AND ALL!! Saint Elizabeth could never even try which is why it was so stupid for the writers to even think that this would work or go over with fans it's so laughable that doesn't mean that they didn't care about each other but as a couple? @@sherryoneal1740 thank you! you’re absolutely right.it was very stupid to have them try again after it was totally over. when he married Courtney and when Sam was pregnant with Sonny’s kid, Liz asked her how could she stand the danger that’s why she couldn’t be with Jason and they flipped that whole script.after all that time and to have him pretend he always wanted liz and her pretend she always wanted him even over lucky who she claimed was the love of her life.they thought they could break up JaSam have her sleep with her mother’s husband.that sleaze Ric to destroy her character,but JaSam fans didn’t hate Sam the way they thought it only made us and them stronger and love Sam more than ever.and have her watch that boy, who we still don’t know if it’s Jason’s by the way get kidnap,we never saw the results.and it could’ve went either way Jason’s or Lucky’s but we all know it’s Lucky’s.or she wouldn’t have thought about sleeping with her husband before Jason, if it wasn’t Lucky’s.they hid the results from the viewers.to see if Jason and that nurse would work out. but JaSamNation wasn’t having it. so they had her burnt those results.and dropped that joke of a storyline as soon as quick as they could.and put Jason and Sam back together and had that tramp( Lucky’s words)haha sleep with her. This is what I can't deal with with Soap Operas; the sudden realization. All along Liz has know Jason is in the mob and what that meant and yet it takes Michael being shot for both of them to realize that being with him puts her and her children in danger. Shahanna Grey the only man she really cheated on was Lucky, who actually cheated on her first, he was psychologically abusive towards her. He was someone who she loved out but out of obligation trying to hold on to the past, but it wasn't real, it wasn't meant to be. Their love simply was not like that and she should have never married him. She will always love Jason that's just a fact and no one can take his place in her heart. The rest are just substitutes what she covets. This is a soap opera, everybody sleeps with everybody for drama, and honestly Elizabeth is the less scandalous one of them all. I don't see why she is always the main focus, it reeks of insecurity because of the fear of the hold she has on Jason. Folk's all their biased to rule them to turn a blind eye and be dismissive of reality. it's pathetic. Folk's neglect to mention the others who have done the same if not worse, it's hypocritical. Why is Elizabeth the only one held accountable, or to a different standard, rather a double standard? Carly has three different baby daddies, was pregnant a few times that miscarried. Alexis has three different baby daddies, and has slept with everyone in port Charles. Sam has different baby daddies, and she's gotten around, too. Maxie has been around the block once or twice, are they all sluts, too? They mostly slept with the same people.

Dominicus X ..being cheated on doesn’t mean you should cheat as well. She should have left Lucky, they were obviously just hurting each other and probably the kids. But she cheat on Lucky with Jason. Then cheated on Lucky with Nicholas, after leaving Jason for Lucky and just before she and Lucky were to get remarried so that’s close enough. Elizabeth relationship was over with lucky she had every intention of believing it was over. He pursued her and she should have never got back with him for whatever reasons she chose to be with him but it was not love we all know this, even lucky did. And Sam slept with her mother's husband Ric of all people, not to mention Sonny who her mother also slept with and has a child with, and who Sam had a stillborn with. That's a very trailer trash situation right there. She's done plenty more and that's just Sam I haven't even got started on Carly or Alexis or Maxie. Oh, but Elizabeth cheated on a cheater it's so much worse nevermind the circumstances behind it, garbage. If you don't like the character that's fine, just admit your bias and be over with it. You hold her to a different standard because you just don't like her, I get that but it's not justifiable nor reasonable if you don't hold others accountable for their cheating ways. Well. Cont. 2. Notwithstanding that, there is an undeniable fact, which is that Jason found in Sam someone who loved him exactly for who he is, what he does and she never judge him. Jason found in Sam understanding, unconditional love and acceptance. Jason found in Sam a true partner, somebody he could truly trust and confide in implicitly and wholeheartedly. The truth of the matter is that once Jason found Sam he was never going to let go of her because what Jason found with Sam he never had that with anybody else in his life. This is evident because during the entire 2008 storylines Jason wasn't able to truly move on from Sam. Every single time Sam needed assistance, aid or to be rescue Jason decided to play heroe to Sam. Nevermind, the fact that she had a very capable boyfriend who could have stepped in to help or rescue Sam at any given moment which was Lucky. Jason could have called Lucky to let him handle the situation or called him for back up but Jason chose not to call him. Plain and simple, Jason wanted to be there for Sam. The connection Jason felt for Sam was too strong for him to ignore it. Besides there is the fact that he never was going to turn his back on Sam no matter what had transpired between them. On the other hand, Jason during the entire 2008 storylines looked conflicted when he was with Elizabeth. We believe it was because ultimately Jason came to the realization that Elizabeth had never accepted him for who he was and what he did. Also, Jason realized that Elizabeth has never accepted his lifestyle and the choices that came with it. For, during that entire storyline we saw a very unhappy Jason because he couldn't be truly happy with Elizabeth. He cared and loved her. After all, Elizabeth was the mother of his child but it wasn't like he was in love with her. Even Elizabeth acknowledged that she had loved Jason longer than he had loved her. Jason tired but couldn't make it work with Elizabeth for all the reasons stated above. Finally, there is the fact that Jason couldn't truly move on from Sam. He couldn't just let go of his deep connection and feelings for her. Let's be real for a minute, if we find in our lives the kind of unconditional love and acceptance that Sam gave Jason, how many of us are willing to really give it up or truly walk away from it. We say without a shadow of a doubt not many... Finally, to argue that Jason and Elizabeth are soulmates or each others true love is really something that is not sustainable and there is no evidence or facts to support such statement. Firstly, because in 2002 Jason had denied as much. Secondly, the closest thing to love that came for Jason and Elizabeth was the so called on and off "relationship" they had in 2008 which by the way was a mutual infatuation they both had for each other. As we mentioned before. However, in Jason's case it was based on his overwhelming need to be a father to Jake and he needed to make that happen by any means necessary. Even if that meant going along with the web of lies that Elizabeth conjured and compromising himself over and over. Which is exactly what Jason did. Also, it's important to keep in mind that quite often infatuations take a life on their own and the people involved get stuck on stupid because they confuse the feelings with love. In the process, the people infatuated with each other forget the essence of who they are and usually constantly compromised themselves just to seek satisfaction. Until something terrible happens that snaps them back to reality. The sad part about this is that Elizabeth knew exactly what was going on with Jason in regards to his feelings because after Michael's shooting she asked Jason if what he felt for her was about Jake or her (08/29 & 09/02/08). Jason told her that it was not fair of her to ask that question and he was evasive with the answer. Interesting fact is that when he was in love with Robin, Courtney or Sam he was never evasive when it came to answer such a simple question or to express his feelings for them. Also, in 2004 when Jason wanted Sam back he expressly told her that he wanted her, baby or no baby. That was when Sam appeared with Baby Hope in her arms. He had no problem giving a straight answer in any of those situations. Again, we can't rewrite the storylines or what was said by the characters. We know that until the middle of 2007, Jason was a straight forward guy. He never lied and never accepted betrayal from anyone. However, all that changed once he became a father, those feelings truly overwhelmed him up to the point that his logical thinking and reasoning went out the window. Afterwards, he became a lier, a cheater and a betrayer. He didn't do all those things only to Sam he also did them to Lucky. Simply put, since Jake's birth Jason had been living in a web of lies which totally uncharacteristic for this character. In 2008, Jason was so lost in his need to be a father to his son that if you go back and watch that entire year everyone, most likely, would agree that Jason was not acting like his usual self. He was constantly out of focus and he was not paying attention to the business. He was compromising himself over and over by living a constant lie which alienated Jason from the people he usually confided in and he trusted the most. The people that loved him called him on it a couple of times but instead of acknowledging what they were saying, he chose to ignore them. All of that came at a very high cost. Let's see, partially because of Jason's actions Michael got shot. Later on, Jason started to think about what he had done, the choices he made and how wrong he was for ignoring his instincts, his commitments and his responsibilities. That's why he told Elizabeth, again, they would never work. This is the second time that Jason had told Elizabeth that things between them would never work out because he can't give her what she wants or what she needs and he can't be himself with her. To summarize, Jason had said to Elizabeth in 2002, 2008 and then in 2012 when she tried to forced a divorce between Sam and Jason once again by lying and manipulating which is Elizabeth's specialty, that he is not what she needs and that he can't never give her what she wants. It is important to understand that when a man is deeply madly in love with a woman reason goes out the window just like it happened when Jason decided to go against Sonny to marry Courtney. Those are the facts. We invite everyone to go back and watch the episodes objectively because we have done it a couple of times and we stand firmed in what we have, respectfully, expressed. Dear Fellow GH Fans: We, with all due respect, have to disagree with some of the expression presented by some regarding Jason's and Elizabeth so called "relationship". The following is a series of facts that relates to them: 1. The started a friendship back in the late '90s and the beginning of 2000's 2. In 2002 when Jason shut down on Elizabeth, she has her 1st one night stand with Zander. Interesting enough Jason saw them together. Elizabeth told Jason that it happened because he had pushed her away and because she was scared. Although, she admitted to Jason that she led Zander on. By the way, Jason saw them together in her art studio. Later on, Elizabeth broke things up with Jason because he lied to her about Sonny being alive. She couldn't accept the fact that there would always be certain things that Jason could never be able to tell her because of his job. Jason also took the opportunity to tell her that he could never give her what she wanted or what she needed. 3. In 2003, Courtney asked Jason after she and Elizabeth got into a fight if he ever was in love with Elizabeth and Jason answered, NO. However, Jason's marriage with Courtney although they were very much in love didn't work out because she couldn't handle his lifestyle and she tried to change him. It is important to remember that all of those events happened before Sam was even in the picture. If Jason and Elizabeth were each other's true love how come he married Courtney and told Courtney he was never in love with Elizabeth? As much as people may want to the storyline can't be rewritten. 4. Elizabeth married Ric. Later on, she cheated on Ric and slept with Zander. This was the 2nd one night stand she had with Zander which left her pregnant with Cameron. To our point, at the time Jason didn't care she was with Ric. Furthermore, this showed that indeed Elizabeth is a cheater. Also, this demonstrates that there is a pattern of behavior with her. 5. Back in 2004, Elizabeth told Sam when they were both at Kelly's and Sam was pregnant that she couldn't stand the violent world in which Jason lives in. Furthermore, she went on to say that Jason was a killer and that she couldn't have her little boy exposed to that kind of life. 6. In 2008, Jason told Elizabeth that he can't give her what she needs because she doesn't accept him for who he is and what he does. Jason is never going to change. This is the same argument they had back in 2002 way before Sam. 7. If it was true that Jason was in love with Elizabeth and they had a history together. Why he never acted on it? He had plenty of opportunities to be with Elizabeth before Sam was ever even a factor. But, Jason chose not to be with Elizabeth. Instead, Jason chose to be with Courtney. Afterwards, Sam became a factor in Jason's life. He fell in love with her and he found in Sam his true match because she loved and accepted him unconditionally. 8. It is an undeniable fact that Jason has been that same person since his accident in 1996. He is a danger junkie. He likes to push the envelope and likes to live in the moment. He likes working for Sonny. Sonny, Carly, Michael & Morgan are his family. He is loyal to them to a fault. He made commitments and promises to them, especially to Michael. They are his responsibility. Robin understood that. Courtney understood that. Sam understood that. But Elizabeth never understood that. Actually when she had the chance to show understanding she walked away. That is a fact. It is also a fact that Jason has been consistently the same person, a Mob Enforcer, for more than a decade. That is who he is and what he does. It also a fact that Robin, Courtney and Elizabeth couldn't accept him for who he is and what he does. Each one of them tried different things to change him or to get him out of the business. Robin tried to get him fired and when nothing worked she told the truth about Michael's paternity. But it didn't work Jason broke up with Robin and she moved to Paris. Courtney tried to accept him at first but along the way she realized that she was compromising too much of herself to be with Jason so even though they loved each other that wasn't enough and she ended up divorcing him. Let's remember that in both previous cases that we mentioned before regarding Robin and Courtney, Jason was madly and passionately in love with each one of them when he was with each one of them. In Elizabeth's case was different because Jason was never in love with her but he cared enough to try to date her. The truth is that Elizabeth tried to fit in and to understand Jason's lifestyle but the moment she found out that Jason lied to her because of his job she walked away. So, for anyone to dispute these facts it would be like trying to rewrite GH history. Nevermind, that the first time around Elizabeth was playing with Jason feelings because of her indecisiveness between whether if she wanted to be with Lucky or with Jason. Then she did the same thing to Jason when Zander came along and she decided to sleep with and to stay with Zander. Let's not forget that Jason saw her having sex with Zander and he chose to do nothing and to say nothing. At the time, Jason was still a viable option because there was no Courtney or Sam were not in the picture. And what Elizabeth did she chose Zander. As previously discussed, it's that all of the aforementioned happened before Sam was even in the picture. However, the unchangeable remained fact is that since the very beginning Sam accepted Jason for who he was and what he did because she has never been a judgmental person. Like everybody else seems to be in Port Charles. 9. Lastly, none of us can't forget that every single time that Elizabeth was given a choice she has chosen Lucky. He is her one true love. She had said as much since the '90s and during the entire storyline between 2009-2011 until Lucky left Port Charles. We can't forget that she married Lucky twice and that he was her first love. Lucky was the person that helped her through the most horrifying experience of her life. She wanted Lucky not anyone else to be the father of her kids. Not even Jason. That is a real connection and everlasting bond. For, it is our humble opinion based on what Elizabeth told Patrick in 2008 while she reflected on her decision to be with Jason during Jake's kidnapping by the Russians and what she told Nikolas after sleeping with him that what she had always felt for Jason was an infatuation and obsession (PLEASE SEE BELOW: DEFINITION OF INFATUATION). This fact was corroborated by Elizabeth, herself, the first time she had sex with Nikolas and she started cheating on Lucky, again. This happened on the episode 09/15/09. On that episode this is exactly what Elizabeth said to Nikolas after they just had sex: "Jake was conceived on a night like this, yes, I was drunk and I was angry but I knew exactly what I was doing, just like tonight, the only difference is that then I felt justified because Lucky had hurt me and Jason was this fantasy, he was like the answer to all my problems. I guess you are a kind of a different fantasy. You are the man that I can't have. So of course, you are the one I want. I didn't have to come over here tonight. I knew I was playing with fire. I set up us both for this to happen. God I did this to my boys. What is wrong with me...". That's what Elizabeth told Nikolas in reference to what she did with Jason when Jake was conceived. So, it stands to reason to think that when she went to Jason's Penthouse during the blackout she knew exactly what she was doing and when Carly called her on it she was right. Also it means, that what happened between Jason and Elizabeth it was just meant to be a one night stand with consequences which by the way happens all the time. The truth of the matter is Elizabeth always wanted the man that she could not have. That is why in her life that man comes and goes depending on the circumstances. Interesting fact, Lucky left Port Charles in 2011and Elizabeth, once again, became infatuated with Jason in 2012. It is like a vicious cycle. The same thing happened back in the 2000's when Elizabeth thought that Lucky was dead. She leaned on Jason but when Lucky came back she went back to Lucky. Those are the facts that can be sustained by the evidence shown throughout every single storyline that Robin, Elizabeth, Lucky, Courtney, Jason and Sam have been part of. Our humble suggestion is for everyone to stop trying to rewrite the storylines and GH history because they are what they are and nobody can't change that.

I never liked Elizabeth! She never accepted Jason for who he was. And she didnt have to but her trying and trying to be with Jason or always messing with his feelings was not fair to him. Elizabeth was always going after something she didnt have till she had it. Lucky she loved him but played games when he came back between him and Jason. Then cheated with Zander. Then Ric knowing he was causing issues with people, Franco when things happened. I enjoy how youtube deleted my comments to protect the FACTS and Pain of Sam's sins during 2006 through 2009 from being ousted by us GH fans who pay attention to the content of these things that Sam did and easily got away with!!! we all know the narrative to make sam save jake was to fan service a breakage between the hatred between sam and jason with just the summer time of 2009 where christina and michael magically run away and force sam and jason to go to sonny's island which was the fan service way of forcing jasam to be together again by fall 2009!! What a way to destroy LIASON over a induced story line of fan service! Skip to 2011 Jake is taken away by HELENA another CASSIDINE attack on this child just as Sam has done so before as HELENA took a page out of Sam's handy work! Then these executives have Carly, and Maxie pressuring Sam to give jason a baby! Liz didn't even have time to mourn the alleged loss of JAKE with JASON for more than 5-7 scenes among Jan 2011 through JULY 2011! In fact in July 2011 they have Jason who just lost his child more concerned of putting a ring over sam's finger! then when liz finally has the chance to talk to jason about the loss of Jake, Liz goes to the pent house and sam has a ring on her finger giving Liz a glass of water and the ring shines through the glass indicating to Liz that Sam has won!!! What was the point of that!!! Jake has been alleged dead for more than 6-7 months not even up to a year and they have jason marrying sam and then talks of having a new baby to replace Jake! Disgusting!! That was a very difficult year to watch GH the lengths these executive took to errode the role of liz as if it is completely okay because as long as JASAM is being pushed out it's magically a HIT right... shaking my head (smh)...!!!! Meanwhile the concept of that story line was about a new baby that jason wasn't ready for but despite all that michael is getting messed up over because sam introduced abby to michael's life!
