Every single time I watch this clip I want to punch the writers for putting Jason and Sam back together. I’m not denying that Jason loved her at one point but at this point - the cord was cut. For the writers to change everything that Jason was about and represented is truly disgusting. They didn’t even have to keep him with Liz, but putting him back with Sam made no sense.

valou1015 I know; it makes me crazy that he married her, and then, had Jenny with her, and then, remarried her and only remembered the good parts. Apparently, they did have a conversation about what she did, but all she said was something like, "we got past that. "And of course, all he remembers is the good about Sam. There was nothing about Emily, Robin, Carly, Monica, Alan, or even Michael, and even the past he shared with Elizabeth, and what he remembered, he couldn't place, which is very sad. It seems he can only be civil to her now, when it involves Jake. I miss Liason The way they used to be.

Re-watching this now, makes me feel really bad for Maureen. She was overcome with grief of the loss of her child, and truly by the way she was talking didn't understand the consequences of what would happen if she kidnapped Jake. Sam a grieving mother herself know exactly what would happen, yet refused to do anything, in this is another reason why I will forever hate the fact that Jason was able to forgive Sam. I think this is almost worse than what Sam had ever gone through with Franco. I'm not minimizing a sexual assault, and as traumatic as that was, nothing was more traumatic than believing your child could have been dead being kidnapped, and then, a grieving mother to another grieving mother is saying that they both know what it feels like to lose a child. Then, Elizabeth was dreaming that Jake was brought home, and wasn't. Add to that, Elizabeth own husband wasn't being very supportive of her at all; blaming her; saying she is suffering from postpartum depression and wasn't paying attention to Jake. Sam knew the agony that Elizabeth would face, yet chose to keep her mouth shut. I would've had more respect for her, even if she had to run to Jason and tell him (even if part of it was a lie) that she watched while someone took Jake. But she said this whole plan in motion, because when she talked to Maureen, they were bonding over the loss of their children, and she said, "sometimes, I wish Jake would disappear. "I wish Jason remembered all of this, instead of just all the good that he and Sam have shared. They talked about it once, and it was just a memory, yet Sam can constantly bring up what Franco did to her, or that Elizabeth Kat Jason from her for seven months, yet Nicholas doesn't get nearly as much flack, well, he didn't when he was alive.

Of course now we know it wasn't Jason. Liz confessed the whole thing to Jason (patient6) before she knew he was Jason. He even gave her an out saying deep down she knew it wasn't him. She went on to tell him that she did really believe it was Jason except of course it was Drew.
