I have said before that Ric was a tragedy. He had everything going for him. He was handsome, highly educated, articulate, and wealthy. But he threw it all away because of his hatred for Sonny. Because of something that happened when Sonny was six years old, something he had no control over. What a waste.

Rick Hurst always been hot. Even GH's bad guys are good looking. I really think he did love Elizabeth, even after time went by. But his hatred for Sonny, then Jason was stronger. As an actor, he did not get enough credit.

Love how liason fan support unhealthy relationship elizabeth can't handle jason life, she act like she can put she can't, look what happened when she thought drew was jason, she knew she wouldn't come first if he knew the true he would go back sonny, carly and michael (because that people at the top of priorities list) so she lied to him for months. that why she thrilled jason learned about jake, so she can hopefully move up the listed.Sam can handle not being firsted liz can't. Also she worse self when it came to jason she get manipulative and vindictive. Liz wants to change jason she never embraced the real him

It wasn't because she couldn't handle the life it was because she would've taken him away from Sonny, Carly and the life! She is the only one that could have gotten him to leave the mob! Everyone Jason has been with has had a connection to Sonny in some way and gained approval from Sonny/Carly because they didn't interfere in their agenda or the mob! Robin-Sonny's little sister Courtney-Sonny's real sister Sam-Sonny's mistress mother of his child Elizabeth-His dream, safe place, his soul mate and best friend! The biggest threat to Sonny & Carly's "family" with Jason!

Jason and Liz are last on my best couple list. I get that they're bonded and will always be, and all of that... but I never thought they were a good fit as a couple and should have just been friends. Liz is just way to fake for Jason. She's always acting holier-than-thou while stabbing people in the back, lying, cheating, and falling in love with maniacs like Ric.

@@QueenSoap Lucky was one of the worst things to ever happen to Liz. When they were kids, aside from the fact that him being a jerk is why Liz was in the park and ended up getting raped, he was nice to her but after he came back, he totally treated her like crap. The woman drank poison to save him, put up with him screwing her sister. Being a model reminded her of being raped but Lucky didn't care. it was all about what he wanted. It was always about Lucky's feelings. He didn't believe in her, accused her of cheating, cheated on her twice, and still Liz was supposed to turn the other cheek. She was breaking her back supporting the family and he accused her of cheating over and over while he was screwing Maxie. He didn't believe her when Maureen took Jake. Over and over, Liz tried to save him because she felt she owed him and everyone convinced her that no matter what he does, someone Liz deserved that poor excuse for a man. The writers have been ruining Liz for so many years it's insane, but then again, they ruin everyone. When Lucky asked Liz what happened to the girl that crawled out of the bushes, he was dead to me. She never went around calling him a whore when he cheated, but if Liz screws up, he screams it to the heavens like he's always the injured party when he has hurt her far worse. Hate Lucky.

@@nw6866 I'm sure if I go back and rewarch it, I can see what you're saying because in the early 90s a lot of "bad boy" behaviors were romanticized including rape. I just remember enjoying Jonathan Jackson's portrayal of Lucky. I'd say Rick was a lot of worse. Liz has dated a lot of questionable people.

I think there were only 3 men that Elizabeth was a good match with. I mean the actor who played them. Jonathan Jackson, Steve Burton and Roger H. The chemistry was best with them. Everyone else seemed to be pushed or forced. She's a great actress. I love Rick Hearst. But he is better as Alan Michael.
