It was supposed to be a fantasy of what life would have been like had they been together.Elizabeth never would want Jason to be her "beck and call boy" because she knows he isn't like that.Besides, if you want to go that route, then in order for Jason to be all about Sam, they had to be isolated as well.Jason and Elizabeth were best friends before they were lovers anyway.So of course she knows him. :/

@mysticalchic Thought it was ooc is because no matter how hurt or angry Sam got in the past, she never took it out on a child. Sonny, left her pregnant and alone, she never took it out on his kids. After her baby died and Krissy live, she never took it out on Krissy. When she lost Lila and then Hope, everone thought she kidnapped K but she didn't. She pretty much said she could never hurt a child no matter how much she hated their parents. I couldn't see her doing that to any kid.

Wow! Jason sure had a lot of flashbacks with Liz! I guess some will be saddened by Liz's fantasy, but I'm not. It is her view in her current mental state, lots of potential still there with good writers!!!!! We've gotten more Liason scenes in the past few weeks from GW than we had in two years from Fruza. Thank you Garin!!!!

@mysticalchic Sam nevercheated on Jason. Jason dumped her in May of 2006, he repeatedly told her it was over for month before telling her he couldn't love her anymore (because it could get her killed) so she got drnk and slept withRic. It was wrong and nasty but she didn't cheat on Jason.

@mysticalchic Also, I never thought that he would actually do it. He said that to scare her but days later she called him claiming danger and he came running to save her. Also if Jason really meant it/wanted her dead, he would've just done it, not threatened. He loved her, he was just hurt and angry and didn't know who she was anymore. He straight up asked her "what's wrong with you" because she wasn't the person he fell in love with anymore. Time and her saving Jake helped him forgive her.

@mysticalchic I honestly believe that he forgave her because she's the love of his life. I'm not saying that as a JaSam fan but what I think the writers are trying to say. Sam is his longest realtionship, even though he's know Liz longer, he's been on and off with Sam for almost 7 years, 5 of which they were in a committed relationship. All of the things he could've had with Liz, he actively fights for with Sam: Marriage and Baby. So I really just think he loved her that much and thats how.

@mysticalchic Her wanting to abort her baby was about her not being ready to be a mother, something many women think about/go through. She didn't do it though because she already loved the baby. I don't see how considering not having the baby means it's in character for her to let another baby get kidnapped when they wrote otherwise for years.

@mysticalchic I agree. I may prefer JaSam but you cannot argue the history of Liason too. When they decided to go there, they should have just not reunited JaSam after the ONS. They should have just went that way with the story. Liz had every reason not to go back to Lucky. And too much had happened with JaSam to go back. I will say I don't think Liz was destroyed for JaSam though.

The writers are telling you what the relationships between each woman really is. Sam was dreaming of when Jason wanted out of the business and HE wanted to go to Hawaii and live so they could be closer to her brother because she gave up everything for him. They did play all day and he bought her a bar but they came back because of Manny and because he wanted his job back which was ok with her. Liz fans can wish but the fact remains that he and Liz were a crush not love when they were younger. This is Liz's dream and she trapped him because she wanted him to be a family man not in the mob which is true. She never really knew Jason and she has said so on many occasions. Liz wants a fairytale with all the men she's with, she wants a perfect life with no problems. the picture she showed him was the farm that she and Lucky were going to buy. It's not about being a Jasam or Carson fan it's about what is true of the characters. Carly trapped Jason with Michael and wanted Jason to be the head of the mob but he was a simple guy not a boss and didn't want to be in charge. Monica wanted him to be the golden boy but the pressure was to much to live up to because he wasn't the perfect son at all.

In fact one comes every year all the way from Australia because she's such a Becky fan. And an actor goes with the pairing he's in at the moment, when he was in Liason, he stated how fun it would be to explore all facets of their relationship. So him saying that Jasam deserves to be married means nothing to me considering that's the pairig he's in now.

I think that was amazing - it truly showed Elizabeth and Jason as star-crossed lovers - in reel life and in her fantasy! As a Liason fan, I loved it! There was so much underlying meaning in the whole fantasy...It may have been Jason the Architect but the words and the emotions were based on Jason M and Elizabeth!! It was absolutely beautiful...

I also feel that if yo think about the 3 of them, the only one who's never written as wrong is Jason. Its just like the writers saying Liz is the reason he didn't claim Jake when that should 100% be on him. After treating Sam like crap for months something that he never did in their relationship, she had to come out looking worse.

@GHRN1FAN I totally agree. And being star-crossed was only highlighted by Jason's memories, first being Jake and how much he wanted him. Loved the light filled studio and his V-Day memory reminded me how much light the show once had. Loved angry Jason too on his bike and tearing up his room. Thrilled that Jason has his Q memories and hopefully a personality again. And did I mention that I LOVEEE that Liz really has a remodeled studio!! Love the staircase. Stecky rocked it!! so did GW.

@mysticalchic Honestly, I think Jake's death pissed off everyone including the JaSam fans. I hated that they killed of the baby, there was way too much story there even if JaSam had another baby. I always hoped JaSam would have a baby and Jason would be forced to claim Jake. I can understand the slap in the face feeling because JaSam wanted a baby for years then Liason got one and around the same time they say Sam can't have kids. It hurt. Just shows how much of a hack Guza was.

Nowhere, but apart, and Steve Burten's leaving, so I guess both Liason and Jasam are over. I'm happy about Jasam, but not so much forLiason. We know they have a wedding but wedding doesn't equal marriage & marriage doesn't equal happy. @swindellbc At this time, Jason and Elizabeth reconnected their friendship. If you would kindly go back and watch the clips from 99 when Jason got shot, all the way to August 06, when they slept together for the first time, you'll see the connection between those two. I freely admit Jason DID love Sam. But he has been IN LOVE with Elizabeth for years. History does not lie, no matter the hatchet jobs the writers do on the characters.

@swindellbc No Jason never treated Sam like crap! Jason and Sam had a beautiful love story in the beginning. She didn't have anyone. Neither did Jason. The two of them bonded beautifully over Sam's baby. Even after Sam lost Sonny's baby, Jason was so understanding and caring and loving toward Sam. They had their time. Then Jason made a bad decision. Out of fear and prodding from Alexis, he pushed Sam away for her own protection. He kept loving Sam, however. (I CAN be honest)

Sam's dream just raised some major red flags for me on how much she doesn't really know Jason to think he would be content just sitting on the beach & catering to everything she wanted to do. He doesn't do that now. Can't see that changing just b/c they are married. The fact that she had to ask Jason if this was really what he wanted & you knew it wasn't. In case you haven’t watched every episode, Sam gave up everything, literally everything to be with Jason, but that didn’t mean anything right?? I just love how some people only see what they want to see, how some people only want to see half of the story, but most of all how some people can only see the mistakes and the wrong that Sam has done. @8970kelly you know I am a liason fan that enjoyed this clip too, because i saw what the writers and steve and becky were trying to do, basically Jason was telling liz in the dream what he was always telling her from the start that he loves her soo much and she is soo beautiful that he does not want his "career" to taint her in anyway and he does not want her to give up her life to be with him because unlike sam, liz has an entire world-audrey, her career, her kids, lucky that she would miss.

@emancipation28 I've actally watched them from the beginning. I was a huge L&L2 fan so I always wanted them to work out ntil the crap with Sarah. Then I really enjoyed Liason from 2001-2002. They do have awesome chemistry, I've just always been one of those fans who care more about the story, which is why I tend to lean towards the other copling. I do think Liason fans get mistreated and it sucks. Jason is probably one of my all time favorite characters so I've been a fan of all his pairings.

Don't get caught up in the words in Liz's fantasy, look at the acting,the chemistry, Garin Wolfe wrote some wonderful scenes for Steve and Becky and they ROCKED THEM TO PIECES! He gave them a chance to step outside the "Hitman and the Nurse" and show how versatile and good they can be when they are supported by good writing!

Poor Liz! Even in her dreams she can't have that man. "I never really knew u did I?" And she never really did. All Liz ever knew was the man who would take her on his motorcycle and go so fast that for a few hours she could out run the pain. The man who would listen til it hurt a little less. The man who cared and who loved her. This is one of Liz ' s biggest problems in her relationships. She idealizes these men only seeing what she wants to. What she can love. She would never allow herself to see Jason the killer, Lucky the unstable, Zander the reckless, Ric the demented and obsessed, etc etc. I think this is what Jason loved about her, her idealism. Even when it would frustrate him, he loved her all the more for it. It's what he didn't want to destroy in her, what he knew would be destroyed in her if he had truly let her in his world. He wanted to always be able to love the woman who blindly believed in someone just cause she loved them. This is how u know that he truly loved her. He was willing to sacrifice a future with her just so she would never lose herself. But in true soap opera style she did anyways, so sadly it was all for naught.

Wow, you really went deep with their relationship and hit it on the head. I have always rooted for Liadon, and reading. your take on how Jason did not want to destroy her belief in him and her idealism, really sums it up why they are star-crossed lovers. SO frustrating though. I will never like Sam with Jason, she showed her true colors with watching Jake get kidnspped and how masty she got. She is only nice when things go her way. If not, watch out. She is more like Carly than she would ever admit. I liked Sam with Lucky, she had actually started to grow as a character and not be so clingy to Jason. She was good with McBain too. I truly believe she is Jason's second choice, as he believes he cannot be with his first choice, his true love and soulmate, Elizabeth.

I don't even think that Sam is a choice so much as she is just a situation he fell into. Just like Courtney, he fell into the role of a being in a relationship with Sam. If it is just about choice I think he would definitely always choose Liz.

@swindellbc actually him saying he never loved elizabeth WAS the rewrite, courtney was the first time frons came between liason all because he feels rebecca isn't the right look for steve, which tells you alot about his manhood, but everyone else knows the truth that jason really did love and was in love with elizabeth this is why on this very clip of jason dream, liz is in it and courtney is not, i too challenge you to get caught up on liason and maybe you'll see why we fans are so fired up!

@cjthetransformer22 LOL...okay. Jason might say it, but does he show that she's all he needs. Not from what I have been seeing. And I beg the differ about Sam not wanting to leave her love ones behind considering she's suggested that they leave Port Chuck at least twice and never coming back. Remember when he was going to prison. Even was giddy when Spin created a money portfolio for them to leave town. If Jason hadn't said no, she would have left her family in a heartbeat.

@swindellbc The characters of Jason and Sam both deserved a chance to move on from this storyline like so many other broken up pairs. The writers did not have to destroy Sam for Jason and Elizabeth, and they also did not have to destroy Elizabeth for Jason and Sam. What has occurred has been a terrible insult to fans of KM, RH, and SB. I do not believe the fans should be at war, with each side trying to whitewash their character because of the horrible writing!

@mysticalchic I actally felt he was in love with her in 2002 but he moved on. 2003 and Liric did alot of damage to them too. I don't think he was still in love with her after he got with Courtney. The longing was gone. It was during Ric's terror and she was his biggest defender so Jason kicked her out, which is th only time I think he ever yelled at her. I couldn't see him doing that now so thats why I feel his feelings changed over time. He's always loved her, but in love, no.

@swindellbc Then, Jason realized he made a mistake. He wanted to be with Sam. But she made an even greater mistake. She slept with a man whom Jason had declared was an ENEMY! Anyone who knows the show's history knows that Jason never forgave that kind of betrayal. Not with Robin, and not with Carly. He was IN LOVE with both of those women in the past! Sam was no different, even though he tried to get past her affair with Ric. The relationship was on life support at this point!

@mysticalchic See I think to say that he was in love with her for years IS the rewrite. He straight up told Courtney he was never in love with Liz. Because at that time he never got the chance to fall completley in love with her. Life,Zander, Lucky, and the Mob always got in the way. So he moved on. He wasn't IN LOVE with her. He did care very deeply for her though.

That all of it was Elizabeth's thoughts & to be honest, I could see where she would think that she never knew him. The Jason she knew would never go back to someone like Sam. The Jason she knew wouldn't have said to her that his life wasn't meant for a family then turn around & try to start one with the woman that was instrumental in believing his life wasn't meant for family. This scene didn't make no sense. Jason always wanted Elizabeth's freaking baby. Dream or no dream and she KNOWS Jason...longer than Sam which is why he was always so open with her about everything and trusted her. Smh Jasam fans be trying to rewrite history so hard. it's hilarious and so freaking sad.

+Kaitlin Anthony - You are correct. Jason never wanted a baby with Elizabeth. He simply reacted to the situation he was in. Even brain damaged, he wanted to do the right thing by his son. As you look through the videos, you will see Jason always brings up Jake, it is never just about Elizabeth.

your completely wrong, what history jasam made up? everything jasam fans has said has been the truth. liz doesn't accept jason for who he is. and that's been the truth for so long. she have been trying to change him..Sam never changed him. he is more open to her way more then liz. he tells her about his mob and personal struggles. liz gets half. not his mob business just what she should hear. plus in her dreams she tries to control him with the baby.

Just held my breath. such a tear jerker.. this couple is pure magic, so sad that GH wont utilize this supercouple to it's fullest extent.. the ratings were higher, the storyline much better.. maybe the new head writer will utilize this core couple... so much family history, just flushed down the drain....Garin gave us some liason history, now give us the story..
