I don't know y these writers keep writing Liz as a character who lies to protect the men in her life. Then she always takes the time to explain y it's not really a lie or that the truth is gonna cause more damage so let's stick to the lie. And oh man y did Zander have to show up? And look at Liz allowing one more thing to stop her from teling all that she feels to Jason. If she could ever just be honest with herself and Jason they would have had a chance.

Zender was the one who shoot Liz why did Liz protect him.i liked that Jason want to go check on Liz Jason really cared about Liz a lot but it goes way beyond that even through out the years as friends to Jason was so hurt to see liz go with zender

I am a Jason fan, but they both fought over the gun. Jason was trying to wrest it away from him to avoid getting shot and Elizabeth got shot by accident. Where Zander was to blame was picking up the gun in the first place. If he hadn't gone all attack mode and getting angry at Jason, it wouldn't have happened. She begged him to put the gun down. She knew it should be left up to Roy and Jason to work it out. Jason was not going to kill Roy in front of them, he only wanted answers. Zander was like Lucky on drugs, wanting to take things into his own hands and assuming the worst. He may have been the reason she got shot, but he wasn't the only one holding the gun when she got shot.
