Emily's and Georgie's deaths really angered me. GH has the habit of murdering the characters that are intelligent, honorable and sweet. These two were a prime example. Both ladies suffered at the hands of others, but they never were malicious. I still miss these actresses.

GH use to be filled with families. Rich, Poor, Middle Class, and powerful, love stories, like Nikolas and Emily. They destroyed the Quartermaines, the Webber's, the Spencers, and the just about all the original Cassadine's. They even killed off my favorite hitman!! Loved Jason (yeah, I know why). After watching GH since the 80's, it clearly started the decline downhill. I hated they made Rick Webber bad. He was a good man. Made me sick. And, I really hated they killed Alan off. He was the center icon of the Quartermaines. It's like these writers wanted to tare apart every character. Now, it's like a bunch of actors standing around, or sitting around talking.

Even after all these years, I'm still not over this storyline. They really and truly broke Nicholas when they took Emily from him. I think this was truly the start of his character's demise on GH. I always hoped they would spin it to where the Cassadines bring her back or something. Makes me cry every time I see this. And such superb acting from the entire cast.

Steve Burton wanted the writer's to continue the Jason and Liz storyline because he felt there was a lot more story to tell. He said it in a 2009 interview. He has the best chemistry with Rebecca Herbst and he said that. I do have to say that when they put him and Kelly Monaco back together he had a job to do but he really wanted the Jason/Liz storyline to play out all the way.

Sam was a patient at the hospital and EMILY was forced to treat her and others because of the outbreak! Therefore let's not forget EMILY went to her death loathing SAM as EMILY learned what Sam did to EMILY's nephew little jake!! So this all proves EMILY would not have wanted SAM at her funeral! And this is how SAM treats the moments of EMILY's death in front of EMILY's best friend LIZ! And these executives have the gull to give the role of sam the audacity to name her child after EMILY QUARTERMAINE! When in truth SAM doesn't even deserve the right! Or that privilege! Especially when that wasn't even the real JASON to give SAM that authorization! She should have known right there and then BMJASON was a fake jason! the gull of these executives they ignore all things sam ever did and Sam doesn't even have to pay Liz back is outstandingly outrageous any person in liz's place would have took sam to COURT!! Because the fact is, Sam came to Liz's house uninvited without permission and Sam was banned from liz's house in advance! So for sam to be in there it already looks suspicious and if Sam was just trying to help jake, then sam has a phone get on it text BMJASONDrew\and ask him for that permission! And yet she never got it she just knocked on that door and magically scares JAKE away, sam refuses to contact the baby sittter who was washing her hair out from silly string till she was done or better yet barge in there as Sam originally barged through the door without Liz's permission and sam could have asked jake's babysitter to get help! Instead sam wanted to be everyday hero and magically goes down the basement and magically falls down with her high heels down the stair and ruins the basement heater which lead to the destruction of liz's house! And liz is not allowed to know any of that! Liz is not even allowed to ask SAM how her house was destroyed instead Sam just says there was a a fire and it just happened! And sam get's away with that and Liz loses her house! what kind of nonsense is that!! They treat Liz like BULL CRAP in the new General Hospital! that's how we know this executive caters and fan services to the jasam fans by how the reality factor of liz losing her house was nullified into something so minsucle undermining what liz went through over a fake jason morgan!!! Yes people will disagree and say liz lost her house because she is liz, but when you sit down and think about it, if you banned someone from coming to your house like the way Liz banned Sam and then you find out that same person was in your house and is the source of your house being burned down wouldn't you want to know how it happened wouldn't you want to have an eternal investigation! At the very least there was a babysitter in that house why didn't Sam seek the babysitter for help to look for jake, oh that's right, because Sam didn't want the babysitter to know that Sam walked in because if the babysitter saw sam then the babysitter would have told Liz that Sam is in her house and Liz would have came rushing back home to tell sam to get out of her house! So with that said that's how we know this situation was override to fan service jasam over a fake jason morgan\drew! So liz losing her house for the concept of that ridiculous storyline was BULL SH!T!

Jason and Emily had a beautiful sibling storyline. They cared for each other deeply and would move heaven and earth for each other. I agree that Emily's death hurt Jason deeply and broke Nikolas profoundly, leaving NEM's fans saddened and heartbroken.

I remember watching this at the time and actually thinking he did a horrible job in the scene. I get that his character is cold and kind of without emotion, but he could’ve mixed it up just a little bit. This is a sister he claimed to love and he’s telling his mother that she died almost like he’s ordering a loaf of bread. It was horribly played.

How would you react if the love of your life betrayed you by having a baby with someone else? Yes she was wrong in sleeping with her stepfather, no one,s innocent here but Liz ran to Jason after seeing her husband in bed with Maxie. Alot of this sleeping around started cause of Maxi and Lucky kept trying to put it on Liz as if she,s the reason all the affairs happened when Lucky was the guilty one in that marriage. Liz was faithful to him till that night. Sam felt hurt and betrayed cause at that time couldn,t conceive her own child putting the blame on Jason,s way of life but she knew what she was getting into yes but she paid a heavy Price being with him and it,s more than one could take. Getting shot, losing Sonny,s baby, thinking she got raped by Franco, her father at age 8 teaching her to use guns and scam the rich, Alexis giving her up for adoption and later thought she was dead. Only to find out the woman you hated turned out to be your mother. I can go on and on but I always thought Sam and Jason made a great couple, she can handle his lifestyle without question after all she can shoot in self defense and ask questions later. Liz is a nurse, a job about saving lives but couldn,t handle Jason,s life. She tried to change him from that and thought that enough love would make him want to quit his life style but he chose to give her up instead after the Russians kidnapped Jake. Then she woke up. But Sam is better for Jason, they do understand each other and Liz and Lucky were long time friends from the time he helped her after her rape. And this is where I put the breaks on.

@@patriciabrower532 That's not true. Liz never tried to Change Jason. She knew his life was dangerous that's why she lied to begin with, she didn't want her kids caught up in danger. Her and Robbin are by far the sanest parents on this show. Scam is the one trying to change Jason and left him because of that, even though she knew what his life was about. Liz from day one knew that she loved Jason but his life was not for her, but she did enjoy what she could have with him, which was sneaking around. She did try to get over the fear when she agreed to marry him, but then Michael and Kate were shot and the Russians kidnapping Jake was the final straw. Jason saw a life he wanted with Liz and he could take others like Carly and Scam being from their type of backgrounds in his life, but not Liz, he couldn't see such an angel tainted by his lifestyle or imagine his son ever falling into danger like that again.

Sam was always curtious when anybody and everybody came to seek Jason,s time and Sam would excuse herself cause she understood his world. Again, Liz being faithful to her husband, Lucky, walks in on him and Maxie having sex also providing him with drugs remember that. But Liz was hurt as expected and went to see Jason cause she needed someone to talk to and one thing led to another. I even have that part of the story saved on my phone. And what I said about Sam is true about her past. I watch GH everyday past stories included. Enough said. Let it go for crying out loud it,s just a damn show on TV Don,t get so sucked into it. @@normadelpin4289 I saw BJ and Stone Cates die in real-time on GH back then; I believe that BJ, Cates, and Emily's deaths were the most tragic deaths on GH. However, I'm still angered by Emily's death, which I consider one of GH's mistakes. GH tried to rectify their mistake of killing Emily by bringing Rebecca Shaw, but that didn't work. NEM's fans like me still wish for Emily (NL) to return for Nikolas since he is no longer the same since her death.

Yes. TMK, aka Diego Alcazar, killed Emily as payback to Jason for killing his father, Lorenzo Alcazar, on Sonny's order. Diego wanted Jason to feel the same pain he felt when Jason killed his father. Those who loved Emily felt the loss and pain, especially Nikolas, who was left broken; NEM's fans were also saddened, heartbroken, and angered by her death. Emily's killing was one of the most tragic deaths on GH. I've been watching GH since 1977 and fell in love with all the supercouples, but NEM captured my heart profoundly. NEM was a beautiful love story, and I consider them the most memorable couple ever on GH.

He wanted a family. He cares about Liz but he is in love with Sam. Someone people must not watch the whole GH episodes. And from late 2007 until sometime 2008 I hate watching because of Liz but I still watched because I wanted to see if all. And I have never read where Steve said he wanted to work more with Becca. They work with who the writes but them with.

Why is it so had for people to believe that Jason can love more than one woman, yes once upon a time he Loved Elizabeth Webber and some part of him will always love Elizabeth Webber that does not mean he does not love Sam . He has been friends with Elizabeth since 1997 or 1998 they started getting close in 1999 and ever siince than he has been a major part of her life and story and she the same, she first save is life in the winter of 1999 and he inturn did the samething for her when someone tried to blow up her apartment. That is how far back this friendship has gone so accept that Jason Morgan loves Elizabeth Webber and Elizabeth WEebber will always love Jason Morgan.
