Does anyone know what her tuning is? It sounds really nice.

Her tuning is f#-- D F# A D. It is called "Graveyard Tuning" or "Reuben's Train Tuning" or Open D and it traces back to the African four string gourd banjo tradition. For Libby of course it pitches the song low for her, and it also gives her instrument a softer more intimate feeling accompanying this song. Were she to play this on a fretless skinhead banjo she would hit the strings harder and her fingers could match the passion of her voice, while retaining the old-timey mood. Pete Seeger said to stuff a cloth diaper in the drum to dampen the sound. "A handkerchief is too small, a bath towel too big but a DIAPER is just right," he said.
