I lived in Libby before there was a dam. I have lived in the Twin Cities for decades but I still have a brother in Libby since 1966. I used to frequent the Cedar Creek bar which was owned by Louie Burrell and his brother.

I recently watched a documentary on the Libby asbestos disaster from the mine that was once there. Curious if there is still fallout from that within the community. It's such a heart breaking story for such a beautiful part of our country.

The Zonolite plant was considered a great job when I lived there in the 60’s. All that asbestos destroyed the lungs of a number of people I knew.

Libby is a Beautiful place but property prices are too high and my wife being a specialized nurse in chemotherapy infusion would have to take a $1,400 monthly pay CUT and we would be relocating from the Right side of Washington state
