Gotta say, coming back to this game I realized something - it feels like they spent way more time on the cutscenes in John's region than anyone else's. They had a flow to them, the camera cuts were in tune with the music, and the shots were usually of them tearing down cult stuff and putting up their own flags. Faith and Jacob's regions were just "here's some guys walking in"

Johns outpost had the most dope ass music. And yes, the introductions make everything. Especially those where multiple vehicles are arriving in a very fast paced manner. Makes it feel like the cavalry just arrived

These cutscenes do more for the Outpost Liberation segments: it shows a sense of community to the people that live in the region, that they are taking back their homes and livelihoods instead of just having the Player Character do everything. Makes the world feel more lived-in that way.

@zecoreYT even if it all was a bust his bunkers had major issues with flooding and in general while big were poorly ready. Sure the cult lived but they generally were oppresive. Hanging and torturing people and flat out fucked up mentally and their little society collapsed due to this histerical insanity in farcry 6. They defeated themselves more then we did killing elite cultist on the fly.

FC3 for me felt overrated with the way people treat that one. I had/have fun with it though. FC6 is okay, but not in my top 3 favorite Far Cry game. FC5 is the best Far Cry, and that's coming from someone who started out with FC4 and FC3 first. If I had my top 3: 1. Far Cry 5 2. Far Cry New Dawn 3. Far Cry 4

All the cutscenes are good, but why is the ending so bad? It would have been nice if the ending showed society stabilizing, with the National Guard troops and police officers who couldn't come in at the beginning moving around... But the ending is a nuclear explosion...

Honestly I wish they could’ve just shot Joseph seed and maybe Dutch would be alive and kicking as well as the rest of the deputies which would mean that far cry new dawn with the highway men would be a bit different with them not getting a chance to set up a foothold in hope county and law and order after the bombs dropped. Dutch helping to reestablish radio signal.
