what I'm wondering is do they come any longer because I not only want to use it as a tub but also as a shower.

You would purchase a tub to fit in the existing area of your present tub.

It doesn't. Unless you are sniffing right over the opening, you're not going to smell a thing.

It works fine in my tub.

use a few drops in the little cup or you can use crystals in a mesh bag. it is ok but not as strong as using a diffuser.

I have seen some videos from independemt reviewers, it actually shows a handful of major flaws with am standard walk-in tubs. the power drain forces water into your drain, many tubs, will actually have water flow back up through the overflow, terrible idea using a whirlpool pump to pressurize you waste line..2nd, fit and finish, there are .75 inch caulk lines on the side of the door, oops. and 3rd, the hip jets are so high, they go over your hip, 4th, dont be oversold by the jet count, the air jets are micro sized, and 5th they use a 1/2" valve and faucet assembly, a walk in tub should have a 3/4 for less restrictive water flow and 6th they still use an old fashioned 1.5" drain and waste assembly, 7th a cheap steel frame, 8th its fiberglass with brittle gel coat finish. I am telling you, do your research, these tubs are top dollar and no where near top quality.other tubs are so so so superior and cost so much less.

I put one of these tubes in for helping with back arthritis, and post back surgery, while this tube is nice, I’ve had to have two service calls on this tube due to faucet issues, the first occurred about two months after install, and the second was 4 months to the day from the first one. Install was expected to be two to three days, took 6 days, the tub is was supposed to be installed with emergency shutoff valves incase of problems and was not, after the cold water faucet would not shut off due to malfunction/ manufacturing defect, I had to turn water off rush out to plumbing supply and install a shut off myself. This was not an easy task and would have resulted in an very expensive emergency plumber service call for someone less able to do a repair them selves. Initial warranty service was great within a day or two, the second service I’m still waiting on the plumber to come out after two weeks of the tub breaking. My overall review of this tub is one stars due to poor manufacturing quality control, poor initial install. 5 stars for initial repair response and 1 star for second repair. Customer services had zero follow up after initiating service request. While competitively priced I’d look else where for your walk in tub purchase

The water level looks too low and your shoulders will be cold.

I agree, but I wouldn't mind that because of the massage therapy. There are ways to keep warm in bathroom by adding a heat fixture.

we just got one installed the water stays at 102 degrees haven't noticed being cold

Uh oh, now we gotta wait on drain to empty, while someone's doin the geriatric pee pee dance!! Kind of a cool idea, if you're a Senior Olympian & can do a back flip outa the big bowl of egg drop soup!!! Just think before you buy!!

Who cares what it looks like, the purpose is to keep older people and those with disabilities so they feel safer getting in and out of the tub. I know for myself my husband does not want me to get a shower or a bath if he is not at home in case I fall. Our tub is very high so they could install a bench across the back . I have fallen several times. I know at my age if I fall and break a hip the chances are high I may not live.
