This is what happens when people votes with no reason or logic just because a person is local celebrity .Weah was a brilliant footballer, but the dude had no quality education, no managerial background and had run nothing worthy of consideration to be leader of a country, no wonder Liberia is in such a mess.

@dillonblair64914 жыл бұрын
@MajorLeague Ok but individual leaders still have profound effects on their nations. Especially in poor, corrupt and developing nations without stability, bureaucracy or checks and balances. And you're missing the point. I'm saying that literally no one was arguing against the right to vote for whoever they choose. I'm saying that voting on pure popularity over any qualifications tends to get bad leaders.

Bullshit! Kagame dont have quality education like Ellen but yet Rwanda was and still far better than Liberia. Blame Ellen for this not Weah. Dont expect Weah to fix in two years a country that has been damaged for over 45 years.

Wrong choice of word from Eugene Nagbe to call opposition to Weah as political hegemony refusal to accept his government. I think he needs to define hegemony. The hegemony of leadership in Liberia ended following the 1980 coup. So, who are those Nagbe is referring to as a hegemony? He was part of the previous government. He served Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf as information minister.

The oppositions political parties are the problem in Liberia. Since the defeat of the oppositions losing the election to president Weah, they have decided to bring war back to Liberia by hosting unnecessary protest all the time.

It's just been like 12 to 15 years since that country went through a brutal civil war where they were cannibals on both sides....it's really sad to see them suffer even more rite now when the whole country should be moving forward...while the scars of the last war are not even healed there is already another crisis looming ...So sad.

@@chrisoghenetegamaloney5799 No. It was made by Europeans Americans that wanted what the British had. They knew of African colonization and wanted money.
