Liberian company boosts country's palm oil production

A local firm in Liberia is improving the country's palm oil industry. J-Palm collects palm kernels from rural smallholder farmers and processes it into clear oil which is then used to create skin and hair care products. By doing this, the local enterprise links Liberian smallholder farmers to domestic and global markets.

For a fact, Liberian do not even need to plant palm because as Mr. Johnson said it grows naturally everywhere in Liberia. It just government greeds that lead to lager palm plantation in Liberia and around the world. We have a very rich nation that has everything we need to survive as people of that nation but Liberian need education and training to make better decisions about the natural resources. Another thing is that we Liberian depend heavily on the government to do everything for us and that has to charge if we want to develop our nation. We are hardworking people let go back to the soil and make the most of it.
