Very different than how I grew up eating/cooking torborgee, but I'm sure it still taste good. We usually let the soup dry before adding the oil and add the soda in last after cutting the heat and it bubbles up. Have you tried the one with beans in it? If so, do you know what kind of beans the use?

I sometimes let it dry before adding the oil but other times, i add the oil and let it cook for few minutes(especially if the oil smell is too strong) before adding the soda, but I always turn the stove off for a minute or 2 before adding in the soda so it doesn't overflow.

That was a lot of different sodas.One question,while putting in your sodas,do you turn of the heat on the soup, this I noticed and found rather odd.As I whd have expected the soda to cook.

you can use red palm oil, it might not taste and form like the real torborgee oil, but it's better than nothing.
